@Page9: Purewater Business, Okada, Recharge Cards, Lend some money to your Maiguard (Aboki) and stuff like that. @Seun: I do gangs, and it works for me. risk is spread (ofcourse profit is spread too), and people bring free advice. |
You think it would be a good idea to start something like that in Nigeria? And what viable businesses do you think people could invest in? BTW, you're Seun Osewa aren't you? |
Yeah Seun, thanks, and I mean VC. I want to have a pool of people who would jointly invest in particular businesses. The more the people the more the funds available. We would analyze several businesses together and then decide on which ones to invest in. I hope that communicates my intention more clearly. |
Guys, what viable investment opportunities are there for regular people to invest in? Please advise. Would also like to know if there are any opportunities for starting a venture capitalist forum. |
Anytime you run wireless, you risk providing free for all service unless you properly secure it and stay up for as long as the network is up. Sorry dude, to help you solve the problem, someone needs to do a site survey and ensure you're not bleeding signals. |
Good job. Issues however are as follows:
[li]what if my device connects through PCMCIA port and not usb?[/li] [li]how do I build my own driver if the OS doesnt support the hardware?[/li]
Thanks. |
172.10.0.0 is a class B address. You want 4 subnets thats 25 addresses apiece. first subnet could be 172.10.0.1-24, 172.10.0.25 is your broadcast address second subnet could be 172.10.0.27-51 172.10.0.52 is broadcast etc until you get to the 4th. |
Have you been specifically asked to create subnets or are you trying to see what subnet masks to use? I don't really understand your question. Maybe I could help if you would shed a little more light. |
It is illegal to h4ck into websites unless you have been authorized to do so. If you've got h4ckin9 skills, use it to protect the enterprise. Peace. |
@NEOTENY :you, you don't sound like someone who knows anything. Your ignorance speaks for itself, let's leave it at that. Meanwhile, the reason why I sent the initial post is to get other legitimate Information Systems/Technology (in)security-minded people to lets talk about e-commerce infrastructures in the country and how we can make it better. I would like to state just for the record, that I can get into any system that is not properly secured: windows, linux, unix alike. I can use tools ranging from basic command shell through powershell, netcat, cryptcat, knoppix, wget, nmap, ethereal, etherflood, etc (notice that I'm only quoting free tools, so you don't waste your money). So, neoteny, if you really wanna dare me, setup a legitimate site, ensure that you fortify it to the best of your ability, give me a letter of authority to conduct a penetration test and we'll see if I bring it down or not. salam. |
Has your network always been slow? Are you talking Internet Access or just local network access? If you're talking about Internet Access, then how many systems do you have and what kind of bandwidth do you have? Meanwhile, scan your systems for spywares Go here: http://www.newfreedownloads.com/find/spybots.html to download Spybots S& . then run Avast to kill viruses or get a good AV.Cheers. |
Go here: http://www.newfreedownloads.com/find/spybots.html. Also Get Avast antivirus to clean viruses. Cheers. |
