Omo Alata: My mum is very cunning. When people/family call her and talk to her about the way she is treating her children, she will bow her head, she will be very humble, she will shed tears and promise/vow to change. She will say she'll never curse her children again. Everybody will get up from the meeting happy that the situation has been resolved. After that meeting, mum will harden her heart like the heart of Pharoah and double her curses. If it's not so serious, I will laff

My younger sister (mum's last born) will tell mum to her face, "You are a witch" Mum said I will show you who is a witch. A couple of weeks later, my sister's partner threw her out of the house with her child. O pari!!

Since I started my fire prayers, she is confused about me. She called me up one day and asked who I rely on. I told her that I rely on my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Omo Alata: First and foremost, I'm not a bros

She started hating her oldest, my senior brother, when he was around 8 years old because he loved grandma more than her Since then, she has wished him ill. You should see the boy now (in his 50s) - you will cry for him. I suppose she started hating the rest of us when dad decided to take a 2nd wife - how that was our fault, is anyone's guess

Her grandkids in Nigeria cry when my siblings take them round her place. They told my sisters (their mums) that grandma curses them regularly when they are alone with her - they will not amount to anything in life, they will not look after their parents etc etc so grandkids don't go round there anymore.

Omo Alata: All of us have no idea what we've done to offend her. I have 3 siblings living in Lagos, they have moved house and not given mum their new addresses (they say they are hiding their heads and I can't say I blame them). If mum is not careful, she will die a lonely woman. Sometimes I wonder why she decided to have children

If she asks for £20 and you give her £10, she will hold her boobs and private part and cuss No appreciation for the little things. I could go on and on and on.

Anyway, my Lord is bigger than whatever she believes in!!

How can Mary also be interceding for us , are the intercessions of Jesus Christ not sufficient

joe4christ: You and i know that it is scriptural to pray for the sick for even our perfect example which is christ jesus did thesame and empowered us to do more, apostles of christ did that too and even do more, but they never condone or teach anyone praying through them or through any other means be it mary or anyone except through the name of Jesus christ. Check the scriptures for yourself.

we're not saying all this to make you feel only penticostals are truely following God, no, that is not true, christianity from beginning was never a religion, it was a fellowship of brethren known by the world as ''The People Of The Way'' while spiritually known as ''The Body Of Christ''.

All this denominations we see nowadays are just of human origin, in heaven and before God there is no denomination before him and in his place of rest...
All things might change but only one thing has not and cannot ever change forever and that is the word of God (The Bible) that is God's standard for humanity, and the entire world both christian and muslike alike will all be judged by it, and that's why i always advice you spend time with the word of God and ask the holy spirit to reveal the truth of the kingdom of God to you and he will.
Remember Jesus talked about the false prophet and the apostles including peter and paul with john all prophecied their coming and how they are going to twist the word of God for their own benefits, and that's exactly what is going on with the church of this generation.
Only the word of God is reliable and trustworthy, enough has been said here already, let him who have ears hear what the spirit is saying the his church.

my bro do we talk about twisting the bible when you are yet to understand it, at the begining l asked you a very important question which u avoided till now, if mediator and mediation is not neccessary why do u go to the pastors or ask those u call brethren to pray for u. when Peter was in prison the church gathered and pray for his release. the same communium exist btw dead christian and the living christian.

Now as regards james 4:13-15 my question is::::

DOES THAT SCRIPTURE APPLY TO DEAD SAINTS ??

It is true that we shuld pray for each Óther as christians,but doe§ that include d dead??

joe4christ: So if u believe Jesus is God, and he's omni-science, presence and potent meaning he knew what the future holds even while he was on earth, do you not think he would have known that somedday people are going to get confused and seperated about the spiritual responsibility and benefit of mary in christendom? Dont you think he (knowing the future)would have cleared the air once and for all by telling us vividly that mary and other saints are capable and empowered to interceed for us? Even apostle paul or peter never made mention of that and even Jesus christ our perfect example never made mention of that and when he was to pray for the resurrection of the dead body of lazarus he called on his heavenly father and not using any mediator.
Or further more he would have clearified that in moment his disciples came to him and asked him to teach them how to pray he would have stated it clearly that no they could only get to the father through mary as their mediator, or dont you think so?

joe4christ: [size=15pt] The problem with you catholics is that you take christianity as a religion, the early church never took it so, check the writings of apostle paul and peter and even john and other apostles, and you would find out they all kicked against doctrines of men and stated clearly the doctrine of jesus and kicked against spiritual ceremonies and cleansing as requirement for salvation, all this are false doctrines of demons porpoted by the catholic founding fathers for their selfish interests and greed, i'm not here to judge any denomination, but i cannot see falsehood and then keep silent over it, study the word of God and let the holy sprirt interpret it to you and you wont be mislead!

This is what compromise can do to the body of Christ when you join those groups who do not believe in the born again experience, who do not believe in repentance from dead works, who forbid to marry, who launch crusades in the name of God to slaughter countless millions.

Do not fellowship with those who reject the core truths of the bible.
