afrodoc2: When he plays as part of a quality team with great players around him he will improve. The problem was that whenever he took to the field there was too much pressure on him to deliver the goods cos the other players like nani,valencia,young were so fecal. Now with an improved team and the coaching of LVG he will play freely and not try to do it all

afrodoc2: Yes i agree with you on Adnan, that is why i have him in my 4-2-3-1 playing on the wing. Adnan and Di Maria playing the wings at the same time will open up the middle for our no 9 and no 10 cos both of them (Adnan and Di Maria) would require double teaming most of the time.

My thought exactly. i just hope we start getting result from next game upward. We cant afford to be 10 points behind. Although i am still having a bit of doubt about adnan, who i think is just being naive, hope he get is acts together.

valencia is wack - he's finished. no football brain. young had 2 genuine penalty shouts against burnley & he crosses the ball better than valencia. if young plays on the right, you would see the difference......

I know val is not doing great, he hardly get past a player or get a good cross into the box and mostly run at one direction. But if we are to talk about one without any fooball brains, i think ashley might just nip that. Youngy is all of the above and so fake in faking a foul, eww, he is so horrible we are better off playing with a ten men than playing with him on the field, he is just a waste of space. Infact ashley plays with no single intent.

Honestly as much as i criticize Young, for the mere fact that Valencia always hits the legs of his markers with his cross i would prefer Young on this team AS LONG AS HE IS ON THE RIGHT. At least on the right he makes decent runs and crosses( better than Valencia) rather than on the left where he just cuts back and launches an aimless in sw.inger.

trust me young will never make any decent cross in from the right, he rather try some silly tricks, like pulling a shot wide from a corner which obviously will be impossible to score from. Or make a cross which will be out of the reach of every plater in the box. Atleast val. Have one assist already this season.

Valencia is a winger who wins only throw-ins, we do not need his type at this moment i believe.

some times all a team need is a throw in and set pieces. The problem is we dont have good setpiece taker, unlike athl. Madrid who will punish you with a corner kicks, if you let them get up to three.
Our last game val got us more than four corners, and we were not able to capitalize on any of it.

However as a deputy for Rafael in defense i would prefer Valencia to Young cos i believe he is a better defender.

this alone is enough reason why i prefer valencia > youngy.
