TiggyAce: Please gurus, who knows well about Toronto school of management because I took the exams and passed.I’m about to pay for initial tuition fee by Wednesday this week but the problem is NO PGWP at the Canada immigration.Pls what does it means and can it affect me?
My program is Advanced diploma in hospitality and tourism management. Thanks What I would say is that if you have other better college options you can go for it, but if you still want to go ahead with the school you must have it in the back of mind you will need to transfer to Niagara College after your program with them that if you have a plan of applying for a PGWP, because TSOM and Niagara College have like a partnership together,so it easy to transfer there with a 4000$ scholarship if you completed your Diploma at TSOM . After transferring to Niagara College successfully lthen you can apply for PGWP through Niagara College. Transferring to Niagara College is another 2years program too, that 2years for Diploma at Toronto School Of Management then another 2years in Niagara College. |

Guys please what could possibly cause a delay of Application, because this delay is giving me sleepless night.
I submitted my application since MARCH 30th and nothing yet from IRCC I just did a medical and ordered my GCMS Notes tho
After several days of disturbing them with email..They just sent this mail below
Thank you for your correspondence.
IRCC has seen an unprecedented volume of applications received for both initial study permits and extensions in 2022, not just from citizens of one country or region but on a global scale. We are making every effort to reduce wait times in our services globally.
We also highly encourage clients to check IRCC’s Processing Times to let them know how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past. It starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision. It may vary depending on the number of applications we receive and how complex they are to process. It is important to understand that processing times are estimates and may vary.
We know that some applicants have experienced significant wait times with the processing of their applications, and we understand your frustration. We are working hard to process applications on time and reduce processing times. We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
Putting people first is at the core of how IRCC serves clients. We are committed to delivering seamless, quality services that works for everyone.
Regards, |

Nerd95: Have you applied for GCMS notes? If yes, the notes help you to see the progress of your application, to see any concerns of the VO so you can quickly address them before refusal, and could trigger the revisiting of your file. The later point is not always true but it is debatable...it sometimes work. I noticed a pattern: there are about 30days between when my friend received his notes and when he received a final decision last year. Same apply to me too this year. As a rule of thumb, apply for your GCMS notes 12 weeks after you submit your application. Thank you so much for your response Please how do I apply for a GCMS Notes ? And also what the cost to apply for it. |

bepositive11: Those 1 month timelines are for Asian countries like Pakistan, Philippines, India, etc. We don't see them here. Applications on this thread usually take 3 to 4 months. Repeat applications may take 2 months or longer.
Hopefully, IRCC will soon reintroduce NSE and reduce processing times, but for now, expect your application to take 3 to 4 months. Mine is almost 6 months now still nothing It just lucky if you get feedback from IRCC fast |

Nerd95: My God, finally PPR has dropped, March Applicant.
Timeline: Applied: March 9th Biometrics: March 14th Upfront Medicals: April 5th
June 14th: applied for GCMS Notes
........................... The long wait. Sent mails to IRCC and MPs. All MPs said they couldn't help because I am not living in Canada.
Sent mails to IRCC requesting that my application be expedited, Nairobi office nor send my mail lol. Abuja sha replied and gave me a special link to raise a webform. I raised webforms tire, still no reply from IRCC. Raised webforms, got generic responses.
September 1st: I requested for my school to send me a letter stating that I need to resume before September 18th, and that I am a funded research student. Letter arrived that same day.
September 19th: Admission was deferred to January start.
The wait was affecting me mentally. Had to take my mind off it to focus on my live.
September 28th: GCMS notes arrived. Says "Recommend Interview".
October 6th: Sent my new admission letter to IRCC stating that my admission has been deferred.
October 17th: woke up with a holy anger and send mails to IRCC requesting that my application be expedited because I think I have been unfairly treated by having to wait for 7months for a visa whereas others are getting theirs in 3 months.
TODAY OCTOBER 20TH: PPR & BVL Dropped.
Documents: Admission letter SOP Funding letter. My bank statement and that of my brother. My payslip from my work place. My employment letter. My promotion letter at work.
