Look at the stories on the Nairaland front page right now.
Everyday it's highlighting the horrors of living in Nigeria.
How many billions must the Nigerian establishment steal from you? How many people must die due to lack of infrastructure? How many more millions must sink into poverty before the Nigerian people say enough is enough?
IPOB are only the first group with balls to aim their anger where it is supposed to be.
Not at civilians like many other aggrieved groups.
michelz: When you say 'corrupt politicians',you should know that's a blanket statement. Be more specific. Is Sen. Ekweremadu one of the corrupt politicians? And who found him guilty of corruption? IPOB? You haven't fully grasped the extent of damage that singular act on Ekweremadu would do on Ndigbo as a nation.
I tell you that this is one of the most disgraceful and reprehensible actions ever, and should be totally condemned.
Do you know the extent of damage it has even done on Igbo culture? Do you know that act is capable of chasing away would-be investors on southeast? What if that man had been seriously injured, do you think an Enugu man would be happy with and Abia man (where Nnamdi Kanu is from)?
Do you know that attack is capable of causing mini tribal war in Igboland? I thought they said IPOB was peaceful, then why attack an innocent man that came even on behalf of Igbos? Do you know the Fg can latch on that act and justify the proscription of IPOB?
If Igbos can met out jungle justice to one of theirs on the street abroad, who would speak out for the Igbos in other countries when they face xenophobism?
You people constantly talk about aggrieved parties not targeting civilians, that they should aim the anger at the establishmet who have bled Nigeria dry. Now that they do, its shameful.
michelz: Your comment is shameful and borne out of pure ignorance and childishness. What happened to Ekweremadu by IPOBs should be totally condemned by any sound person. Sen. Ekweremadu is a father; what if he was fatally injured during the attack? I believe you have a father also and you wish to be a father someday, would you encourage such an attack on your father or on you?
The conversation is in regards to the treatment of EU migrants as opposed to non EU migrants.
OyinbowithaTan: Cliff notes on the video? The country voted to leave the EU, which is comprised of overwhelmingly white countries and people. How is that racial?
