Banmeallday: The post title is misleading because “Nigeria” has gotten over not just Biafra, but being a shi.thole, a Nigger Area, a corrupt place, a failed state, a rogue state, and everything. If they didnt get over it, they would have by now been a model black nation that is great in many things but they are their people dont give a dayum about themselves nor the “country”.
However, Igbo/Biafrans have for the most part not gotten over what their heroic forefathers/mothers did in the past and why should they? Have Jews gotten over the holocast? Have Arewa gotten over what happened to Sardauna? Has France gotten over Napoleon or Louis 14th, or England with ELizabeth 1st or Oliver Cromwell? Is it not America that is still producing Civil War and SLavery movies with million dollar budgets?
We will not get over what is OUR history as Black people
staytravel: My theory is that a lot of these people are just angry because Igbo culture isn't as strong as Yoruba culture. So when Igbos marry Yorubas the children will feel more Yoruba. What do you guys think
Also, do you think that Nigerian women are sexist they made some points in the video that were very interesting?
mpianya39: Olaniyi my yoruba muslim brother please how do we beg biafrans so that they will not leave us behind I'm currently at Awka right now begging begging igbo biafrans with our caliphate masters up north to accept one indivisible zoogerian insha'allah
"Shadows of Biafra" is a new series that aims to preserve and explore personal accounts of Biafran war (Nigerian Civil War). So that the history is preserved and never forgotten.
cruchenutii: To be honest, It takes a lot of discipline to only eat Obgono soup all your life without anything else. Just seeing Fried Rice & Chicken Catwalking in front of you with a nice shape can be a huge Deal breaker.
Now imagine you have all sorts of egusi, eforiro in your working place as Secretaries or co-workers. Damn, Alice in wonderland.
eyinjuege: All sorts of funny assertations here. It's now the fault of the person cheated upon? No wonder women are also cheating about everywhere, their husbands must have pushed them to it, and didn't help them not to look outside. Afterall, eating ogbono soup all your life is not easy, when all sorts of egusi, eforiro are staring at you with their korokoro eyes. New excuse on the block now, my partner made me do it, he wasn't supportive enough.
