Cc: Mrshape answer is zero.. It is a logical question.. You don't even need a pen The rope is just folded straight into two (80m ÷2 = 40 m length).. When hanged on the pole of 50m high, you will be left with the 10m distance between the ground and the rope |

Even if you want to call it, it is 2 raised to power 2 raise to power 3. You follow that order |

Mrshape: No I don't Let a=2 b=2 c=3 2^2^3 is not equal to 2^(2×,3) 2^8 not 2^6 You see? It's still valid sir.. 2^2^3 is 4^3 which is 64 This is the same as 2^(2×3) which is 2^6 which is 64 You start power right from the base number upward |

Nairaland General › Re: Help!!! I'm Not A Muslim by dejt4u(m): 11:46am On Apr 17, 2020 |
Mrshape: Off course 2 is one of the answers but it has only one method to solve it it is called Lambert W. If that is not what you use to prove it, Unless the op is not well grounded in maths, I doubt you will get it I didn't use Lambert method and I got it |

smeag0l: Good morning all, I have seen people mention on this thread repeatedly that the questions are wrong.None of the questions are wrong and both are actually easy to solve for those who paid attention to their maths teachers either from senior secondary school or the first two years of the university. I actually want people to win the monies as I have mathematics questions that I would post here and put a million naira on each and that nobody will be able to solve even if you engage the services of a university professor anywhere in the world. interesting.. Put it on please |

AnyaIgbo: Hi everyone, I'm back again to this forum. Sorry, I'm just seeing this now. Lalasticlala, any prize for it? Let's start by simplifying s = [n(2a+(n-1)d]/2 Expand the bracket => s = (2an+dn²—d)/2 Noticed, we have exponent of "n", hence we use Calculus/Differentiation. We use the "Quotient Rule" => ds/dn = [vdu/dn - udv/dn]/V² . where ds/dn means differentiate "s" under "n". "u" is the numerator, while "v" is the denominator. ds/dn = [vdu/dn - udv/dn]/v², solving
ds/dn = [2(2a+2dn-d) - (2an+dn²—d)0]/2² => ds/dn = 2(2a+2dn—d)/4 simplifying, we have: s = 2a+2dn—d/2 Then, making "n" subject: 2s = 2a+2dn—d => 2dn = 2s—2a+d Therefore, n = (2s—2a+d)/2d.
cc: Look at the right answer and how I solved it. Prove me wrong, mrshape dejt4u matex97 pyrex23 stennyb, co...

CONTACTSAMSUNG: Nice one
I must commend, your brain is too quick....... But truth be told if you actually solved what the op sent as screenshot then you failed it
So it's either the op question wasn't properly written..... On that initial n there was a bracket which was not enclosed
So how you got to your derivation I don't/can't still understand lol.. It's still the same thing.. Come on |
