felixfelix: Pls can any body help me please? I wish to travel 2nd week or ending of Sept to Michigan. What is the cheapest fare? From my inquiry so far the fare range is four hundred thousand plus and this is too expensive for my pocket. Can I get a connecting flight to Michigan? Can any body host me a day in his or her state to help me book a local flight to Michigan? How would I travel without expending such an outrageous price?Sir, fares for Michigan seem to be quite expensive in September. I would advice you search for tickets for the first week of October (October 1st or 2nd). What airport do you prefer in Michigan as they have quite a lot of airport? How long are you making your return ticket? Try booking your return for 1st week of January if you don't really mind the return date. Tickets seem to be cheaper around the dates mentioned above. Try looking at Delta line, airfrance or Iberia. Prices should be around 350k and less. NB: I'm not an agency nor ticketing office staff. ![]() |
Congratulations on your visa approval @ felixfelix and egbonbode |

I hve 6days mor in nigeriaI am sorry if this info is coming late. To be able to use your school certificates in the USA, your credentials need to be evaluated by one of the following bodies: http://www.wes.org/fees/evaltypes.asp http://www.cgfns.org/services/ces-academic-report/ http://ierf.org Please note that there are other agencies out there that offer the same services. But from research the above three are frequently used and accepted. You can read their websites for more information on services rendered and fee to see which suits you best. |
eleshinleekan: **********TO GOD BE THE GLORY*************Congratulations to you and your family Sir. I pray our interview will be as smooth as yours. Counting the days now. -15 DAYS TO GO. |

@ Lakeside4christ, I'm so sorry your visa was not approved. It's not easy after waiting for so long to accept that it all didn't go as expected. God gives and he takes away. Every disappointment surely has a bigger and better blessing ahead. I pray that blessings are yours IJN. HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY. |
shidoshi: people who said "don't make any preparations till you have your visa in your hands" weren't stupid! No they weren't stupid. They just don't want someone else to be. " Don't make any preparations" means don't sell your house or property, don't quit your job, don't buy a flight ticket, do not place yourself in an irreversible situation. It doesn't mean you should not seek a host. After all on the ds230 form you need to put an address of where you plan to stay when you arrive as that is where your SSN and GC will be sent. Though your initial address can always be changed at the POE. FIREWAMI is a family person and it might not be easy finding someone to host more than one person, hence I encourage him to seek a host now, visa or no visa, he has nothing to loose. |
shidoshi: he is not in the country yet and doesn't have visa in his handsMore reason he should find a host or any sort of accomodation. Or would you suggest he waits last minute before he starts looking? It's better to be ready for any eventualities early than late. @ FIREWAMI please try contacting Pipsland. He has left a post you can reply to as well. |
Firewami: urgent house.my host started behaving funny this morning can anyone please assist my famly with acomodation in indianapolis its very urgent plssssWith the current Ebola crisis going on I wouldn't blame anyone who decides to back down on their hospitality especially if they have children. Have you been issued a visa? If yes, for how long is it still valid? If you still have up to six months you will surely get a host hopefully the Ebola issue would have subsided. If you are time limited as your visa may be expiring soon I would advise you look for other alternatives. Do you have to necessarily live in Indianapolis? If not, try looking for friends or family in other states willing to host you. Jejelady was of very great help to many green house members and pipsland was looking for a housemate some time back but he wanted someone single. Mind you they are both in Texas. You could try contacting them, they may be of help. |
StSteven: oh yes thanks... "...nation dat knows us not shall run unto us to help us..."It is well Sir. Come September 2 both our families shall tell beautiful testimonies. |
tunnath: Pls I won a visa lottery but I use an old pic of me to play it....cos I dnt count it then...pls hope that won't affect my visa on my interview day?Pls I need a reply from youAs already said if it's an old picture of you it shouldn't be a problem. To be on the safe, if you have changed a lot, I advise you take an almost identical old picture along with you to your interview just in case there are questions asked. |

cute2014: Hello madam, its with pleasure that I read from u.I am so very sorry for the loss of ur sister.May God grant u and the whole family the fortitude to bear the loss.I felt it in my spirit that taking into consideration ur role in this forum u can not just disappear like that.We never had an inkling that u were in your trying moments.I know how difficult it is to take care of an illness for years, the respite is that u tried ur best.Keep the sweet memories of her close to ur heart and not the dying moments so that it will be easy for u to move on.God bless u.Thank you dear. But please let's put aside the madam title o, I'm not that old. I am not even old at all sef ![]() Big congrats on your visa approval (I follow you sing that song of joy). My regards to your family as well. Remain blessed. |

cute2014: Madam Dekonjay;Where hast thouest beenGood evening cute2014 and Adeboy. A lot has happened since I last posted in May but we thank God for all his mercies. I lost my immediate younger sister after years of battling for her health. It's really been a difficult and trying period for my family. We thank God because whatever cross he gives us to carry, he also gives us the strength to bear. That aside, our interview has been scheduled for September 2 as we changed countries early this year. Congrats again 007, I kept on talking about your experience to my hubby the whole of Saturday. I'm sure at a point he got tired of listening to me. Cute2014 I need to read back to catch up on what's been going on here. How are your preparations coming up? I really appreciate that you and Adeboy thought about me while I was away. I'm back now sha... ![]() |
@ ADEBOY, I read your interview experience and I was deeply touched. Because of that I decided to register on NL again as my initial registration was lost in the NL tsunami. A VERY BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU my brother, you really deserve this opportunity God has given you and I am so happy for you. Continue to be who you are, giving support and encouraging others, it will carry you farther than you have ever dreamed. Once again congratulations captain 007. |
