Politics / Re: APC Vows To Shut-down Abuja If They Are Not Registered by deledan: 1:56pm On Jul 29, 2013
mcmaurice20: APC is a group of bandwagon politicians....old wine in new bottle...thier corruption wil surpass that of PDP...lets forget dz naija, north has already shoutin who wil retain abuja if naija breaks up...

Abuja does not belong to North if by North you mean Hausa/Fulani dominion. Abuja is a central location - more in the Middle Belt than Boko Haram-dominated North!

Is it the millions of hungry and unemployed people that will make 'Egypt' out of Nigeria because of your party? If you call them out to protest against corruption and maladministration of the political class, Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary I will understand.

Ola Johnson: The so-called militants are paid thugs. How many of you have heard the names of these two groups before? Those behind the crisis, whom are known, keep disgracing themselves. I know Wole Soyinka and Femi Falana will still come to Port-Harcourt, if they have plans to. These are two fearless men that could risk their lives for a better society. Wole Soyinka has been doing it for a long time. He challenged military regimes in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. Even civilian governments. I remember how he was moving round polling booths (some said with a gun) in Ile-Ife and Modakeke during the 1979 and 1983 elections to ensure there was no rigging. This was when he was lecturing in the University of Ife (now OAU).
As the PRO of Student Union, University of Ife, 1979/80 session, Femi Falana and the President, Wole Olaoye, were thorns on the flesh of General Olusegun Obasanjo during his transition programme to civil rule. And even to the government of Shehu Shagari. They were always going to Dodan Barracks, Lagos from Ile-Ife to protest.

They don't like to be called that. They said they are Ijaw Freedom Fighters! Imagine a kidnapper calling himself a freedom fighter! What freedom fighter would seek to curtail the freedom of others to protest peacefully as Nigerians?

omiobo: We just need to go our separate ways. I stand for Oodua Republic. Nigeria is no more a country. Nairalanders are beginning to disgust me the way they reason.

You are on your own!

ikp4succes: i wonder how much Mugabe pay that guy.. Its better Zimbabwe have Egypt style protest than for them to still have Mugabe on power. Zimbabwe is finished. Only few Zimbabweans want Mugabe back on power.. So if he wins then we will knw that Mugabe paid this guy, not to bring Obasanjo.

It's never being a fair election under Mugabe. He wants to die on that seat.

dasparrow: @Post

Why is the senate all of a sudden backtracking? Are they afraid of a revolution from angry Nigerians who do not support child marriages? Bunch of shameless paedophiles!

Which revolution? Are Nigerians courageous enough to embark on a revolution? If they were they would not have allowed the bankrupting of the country under previous and present leaders!

lamp5: Who are they selling those transformer to and Who are those that are buying from them? My opinion is that if their is enough transformer in those area or in Nigeria inwhole, there will be buying and selling of such product.

The same employees and staff of the electricity company are involved in those cases of theft.

It is ridiculous that 16 hours power supply out of 24 hours in a day is called enjoyment! Why is Nigeria not building nuclear energy with its power boosting capacities and technological advancement remains a mystery! Even poor country like Bangladesh are building nuclear power.
