PoliticsYou’re A Total Failure, Kano APC Chieftain Tells Buhari by Delejumi(op): 1:29pm On Aug 09, 2016
KANO— THE factional chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kano State, Hussaini Mairiga, yesterdaty came down hard on President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a total failure. President Buhari commissions Road Projects in Wanke Zamfara State Mairiga, who spoke with journalists in Kano, said “from the looks of things, President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power.” The factional chairman said it was not an exaggeration that members of many families in the country go to bed without at least one square meal, while others had fled their homes because they could no longer provide the basic needs of life for their loved ones. Mairiga, who is known for his bluntness, expressed worry that after one year of the Buhari administration in power, there was nothing to show while poverty in the country had reached an unprecedented level. He lamented that while a bag of rice now sold for N16, 000, prices of other essentials commodities had tripled. Mairiga noted with dismay that prices of goods were rising at a time the ordinary man did not have money to make a living. Another disturbing scenario, according to the factional APC chairman, was that those around the president, including his ministers, had refused to tell him the truth and advice on the reality on ground. He reminded Buhari of his campaign promises, stating that he did not like the way the masses were allowed to wallow in destitution and penury. He said Nigerians were in the worst condition that needed urgent attention. The APC chairman advised the President to stop deceiving Nigerians that the nation had no money whereas on monthly basis, the federal and states governments continued to enjoy a boost in their allocations.

The OCCUPY WALL STREET MOVEMENT BLOCKED ROADS IN NEW YORK.

Did you hear the US govt sending Marine Recons to use deadly force to disperse the crowd?

The massacre was unjustified and the Nigerian Govt has no excuse!
do they do that with arms and ammunition? Didn't they obtain permission for their protest from the police? Sentiments apart and let us disagree to agree.

But foolishly you are aligning to the Saudis.

This automatically brings Nigeria into the conflict.

Mind you the Russians and Chinnese have the Iranians back.

How are you going to deal with this coalition where the US is not in any way thinking of siding the Saudis?

Think for once.
i don't know but please tell me, where on earth will an ordinary civilian be hampering the movement of force when on duty and refuse to leave after several attempt in the heart of not causing problem? If they are not up to something injurious, why will they be baricading the FG road with weapons and shouting of 'Allah akbarr'? Logically it could be said that the Military foil their plan and over power them.
That Iran are now blushing is a mere treat infact according to International law, they have gone too far with this case and if Nigeria is a responsible Sovereign state, our relation with Iran should be review. Or maybe what is pushing them is the just Nuclear deal they signed.
Christianity EtcChristianity----------where We Are Going (3) by Delejumi(op): 1:32pm On Dec 31, 2015
Having checked where we are coming from (1) and where we are (2) as a Christians, like to conclude with where we are going (3) as a Christians. This is not exclusively what it is all about but rather part of what we should know and part of what we should be expecting.
It must be at the back of our mind as Christians that we should not be expecting anything less than the present corruption we are having in this present age. With all effrontery, anyone that is desiring a better world and a better environment is only deceiving himself. While there may be further breakthrough and advancement in technology, also there will be increase in the standard of living and of a surety, the world economy will be on the rise as time comes, these does not in any way neglect the word of Jesus Christ.
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matt 24:37 KJV)
The question is now, what happened in the days of Noah? Let us go in retrospect.

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” (Gen 6:5-8KJV)

This was the state of the first world and it was very clear that God was not interested in repairing the earth hence this statement:

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Gen 6:3KJV).
c
What should we then be expecting?
As a Christian, our focus should not be outside God as the world cannot be better than what it is presently. God is only refraining from releasing His judgment on the earth if perhaps you will come to repentance and you and I will severe ourselves from this corrupt world.
Don’t forget

“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:6-9 KJV)

Christianity EtcAnd When He Had Spent All by Delejumi(op): 6:53pm On Nov 29, 2015
Oftentimes, we find ourselves in situations that are difficult and we conclude seldomly in doing things that has grave consequence though at times very funny. There are few but salient questions I want to raise in our heart-:
· Have you had a wonderful and a glorious experience that makes you feel empty when the memory comes?
· Is this how unecouraging and difficult situations around you have been?
While I leave you to ponder on these questions, don’t spend much time as these are just straight forward questions.
· Have you mismanaged what you ought to effectively manage and now sees yourself were you ought not to be?
I met a young influential man few years ago in a strange land but within a moment, he got squandered and that all he had as his appetite for food, fashion and friends got influenced. You will agree with me that it is very difficult for a man of affluence and influence to suddenly lose all of these, he’ll rather want to improve on it but for this young and energetic man, he could not maintain this status because he has been overpowered with riotous life. The bible says “And when he had spent all”. No man in the land was willing to hire him for payment, even the hirelings could not see any productiveness in him. Not until when he offered himself for free service, nobody was going to employ him and even with that, he had to scramble with the pigs for food, but this was not the desire of his father.
Friends, have you got to that junction in life? That before, you were so full with life from God but now the only thing you are filled with is emptiness? Sometimes ago, you don’t spend hours waiting on God before you hear Him expressly, but now week upon weeks you are still waiting to hear from God on a very small issue that you solve in a matter of minutes before, could it be that before, sickness of any type don’t come near you but for sometimes now you have been having fellowship with different types of sickness? In those days when you were still with your father (God) you go up and down boasting about this FAITH but now, you dare not open your mouth because your testimony has been soiled with riotous living.
A riotous life; a life that makes you get spent-you spend all you have and you get spent. The word you speak talks only about you and not the father that gave you the life you are living, the presence of God has now been fully substituted to that of yourself.
How I wish that you will come to understand quickly that you are being spent and if a caution is not thrown into the air by you going back to God, you will become spent, friend, going to be slave will not also help issues here because the sustenance of the pigs is also what human being are living on. When a man spends all, nothing is left again, when a man had squandered all, he will ever be complaining about everything, at this point, suffering will suffice for enjoyment, but did you know something? This young man came to his senses and he made a final U-turn to the Original and the eternal source of life.
How far are you into this riotous life my friend? How deep are you in this lifestyle? The wonderful news is that when this young boy was busy lamenting to his father on how he had lived his life, the only thing his father was waiting to do is to restore him and lo he was restored.
God is willing to do the same to as many that are willing to come back to Him and as many that are willing to start a journey with our Lord. Don’t forget this that His longsuffering towards us all is that no man will perish.

Christianity EtcCHRISTIANITY- Where We Are Coming From 1 by Delejumi(op): 6:43pm On Nov 29, 2015
As a way of preparation, as the forerunner of this faith, Christ assembled His disciples strengthening their heart for the imminent inevitability. In conclusion of His charge He said “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world, ye shall have tribulation.” Jn 16:33a
Not quite long from that time, what will arguably be the most thrilling event of all time was how Jesus was arrested and then consequently crucified, but thanks unto God, the prophecies have now been fulfilled. On the third day, Christ rose up from dead and death was conquered.
Little do we know that this marks the beginning of hatred, strong envy and chaos for the movement all over the territory that are been dominated by the Roman law. In-spite of all the threats and intimidation, the disciples could not hide the gospel of Christ as they were totally committed to the gospel. To the emperor, this movement is denying them one thing and that is the accordance of glory to GOD which they powerfully coveted and this did not at any point in time go well with the Kings domiciling at Jerusalem and its environment. This was enough reason to persecute the disciples. Of a truth, the place of the Kings is very insignificant from the challenges the church was facing as of that time, the persecution from the priest was a major one and the opposition from those teaching people doctrines that are not of God, in other words, people going around with false doctrines. This poses a great challenge in keeping the church to be one and the disciples lived up to their bidding not minding the oppositions. What did you expect? Some, their lives went for it, some were tortured, some were ripped of their resources, some their families, powers and authority could not make them to compromise not forgetting the word of Christ that they will have tribulations and that their peace is only in Him (Jesus Christ). They all travel with this word and they travel far not accepting any form of intimidation and they stood firm in the face of persecution.
With all these persecutions both within and without, the most amazing thing was that, the gospel of Christ increase in all the tongues and tribes and souls are be won to Christ on daily basis. The persecution was not limited to the first church alone, the second century also witness a great persecution among whom Bishop Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp of Smyrna and that great philosopher Justin, just to mention a few, these people were brothers who stood for the course of the gospel and they became the “Apologist” at a point where heresies became what the church must battle against, thank God for these brothers who never compromise with all what they passed through.
All these went on until the time of Constantine the great who took over from Diocletian who died as the emperor, After his conversion, Constantine issued an edict in 313 AD giving liberty to everyone to worship whosoever they believed in, thereby giving us the first law of freedom of worship. Who can tell, whether you and I will be living a conservative life? That is even if we gave our lives to Christ in the first place had it not been that Constantine was won to Christ.

This is just a brief about where we are coming from.

PoliticsWikipedia Updates Orubebe’s Profile Over Attempted Poll Disruption by Delejumi(op): 2:38pm On Mar 31, 2015
Godsday Orubebe’s profile on Wikipedia just got
updated that he attempted to disrupt 2015
general election result announcement on March
31.
Orubebe, the agent of the Peoples Democratic
Party at the announcement of the presidential
election in Abuja, had called for the stoppage of
the presentation of the results on Tuesday.
Shouting on top of his voice, Orubebe, a former
Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, alleged that
INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had taken
side with the All Progressives Congress.
At the venue of the results presentation on
Tuesday, the PDP agent shouted, “You sent a
committee to Rivers to probe what happened
there. We submitted petitions to you about Kano,
Jigawa, Katsina but you have not done anything
about our complaints. You cannot continue with
these results; we will not take it.”
As Jega tried to calm him down, asking to be
given a chance to respond, Orubebe shouted,
“Mr. Jega, You cannot continue, go to your
office. You are partial. We don’t have any
confidence in you. We will not allow this. You
cannot continue. You must stop the results.”
Christianity EtcWOMANHOOD ——the Heart Of A Woman Part 2. by Delejumi(op): 8:31am On Mar 27, 2015
WOMANHOOD ——the heart of a woman part 2.

Earlier in the article titled "WOMANHOOD - - the Original greatness" I did concluded that the original greatness is the heart of a woman. Come to think, is it possible for a woman to be great outside her home? While I am not arguing that 'what a man can do, a woman can do better "but again, I still reteirate that this is a principle and quotation from the kingdom of darkness.
All around us, we see young, beautiful and vibrant sisters running one thing or the other thinking that that is where there greatness lieth at the expense of respect, there shoulders are high just because of what they call ministry and vision, of course, I had met some wonderful female friends and am still meeting up until today (the time of writing this article), while I stunningly reject not being ambitious, yet I wish my female friends will be able to decify between their own self-ambition and God's purpose for their lives. I need to let you know that this is not aimed in stirring something with which some of our definition will change in my female friends alone but also both male, young and old that will come across this write - up.
I met a woman sometimes ago in the bible, where I met her was on her kneels giving the servant of Abraham water and his camels, I wonder, if it is my generation, I don't think, the service will be done out of a pure conscience without considering the wallet of Eleazer, but just as a well cultured damsel in the house of Terah.
Like to put it to you damsels all around, what is your reasons for service? If you think that you can be great with this type of life (I am not doubting that), I wish you beg God for the type of heart Rebecca posses. It is awesome to note that service was what make her to be part of of the promise of God to the house and lineage of Abraham in whom all as many as identify with the eternal promise and purpose of God in Jesus Christ take their root.
Of course, one of the women whose largeness of heart cannot be inundated is Deborah, the bible says "The villages were unoccupied and rulers ceased in Israel until you arose—you, Deborah, arose—a mother in Israel." (judg 5:7 AMP)
There is a testimony and it is on record that Deborah was a great woman in her life and time. Time will fail me to tell in details, but I must say that she was a woman who is very ambitious and driven by the law of Moses. She understood as an Israelite that It is very wrong for Jabin as a king of the heathen to rule and dominate over the children of covenant and she launch into this reality, yearning in her heart the deliverance of her people. Of course there were men in the land but she understood that a house where the woman is not functioning the effort of the men there will only tantamount to nothing, she understood her vision and she decided to connect with the Original source of greatness in her life which is God.
If those women are far from us, what about people like Tai ikomi, you may not be familiar with her but her singlemost act of forgiveness was a reference for her generation. We can't but mention Joyce Meyer, and over time I have seen people who desire and wanting to be associated with her, check her life check her family, we all can bodly say she is one of the best selling Christian female author if not the best.
These are not the divorcees, they are not the daughters of Jezebel whose business is to seduce the unsuspecting in the Christian world, and I hear them saying that this is new age we can't do things in an "old cargo" way.
Friends, your greatness as a woman is not measured by the people you ganered and gathered around you and neither is it by your self acclaim achievement but rather the heart with which you were able to be subject and submitted to God on all sides. This is the most vital and important in the life of a woman and in everything she desires to lay her hands on.
You'll never know, how long you will go if such largeness of heart is in you. The heart of a true woman.

PoliticsI’ll Return To My Village If I Lose –jonathan by Delejumi(op): 4:19pm On Mar 03, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential
candidate and incumbent President of the
country, Goodluck Jonathan, has said he will
graciously bow out if he loses the March 28
Presidential election to his major opponent, Maj.
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives
Congress Presidential candidate.
He said Nigeria was not his father’s estate.
In an interview with the cable TV, Al Jazeera, on
Monday in Lagos, President Jonathan who
repeatedly told his interviewer that he would win
the March 28 election said if he lost the election
he would return to Otuoke, his country home in
Bayelsa State.
“If by default somebody wins the election, of
course I will go back to my village. The country
is not my father’s estate. I’ll not lose the
election,” Jonathan said.
Speaking on the speculation that he had made
plans to remove the Independent National
Electoral Commission Chairman, Prof. Attahiru
Jega, the President stated he would only sack
him if he had done something wrong.
“(I have no plans to sack the Chairman of the
Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof.
Attahiru Jega) except somebody is insinuating
that the chairman has done something wrong.
You cannot change an officer, except the person
has done something wrong. The government,
whether at the federal or state level, (be it) the
president or governor, does not wake up and
change somebody, especially somebody like the
INEC chairman, except that person has done
something wrong.
“INEC is a very sensitive body. For me to change
INEC chairman, people –both Nigerians and non-
Nigerians – will ask questions. So, one cannot
wake up and change INEC chairman. I have
never discussed this with any human being on
earth about changing INEC chairman,” Jonathan
said.
The president, while commending the Nigerian
troops for the recent successes recorded in the
fight against Boko Haram, claimed that some
people were using the insurgents to disrupt the
general elections.
He said, “I don’t think (the elections will be
postponed again). I think the elections will be
conducted as scheduled by the INEC –that is
the presidential election slated for March 28. I
don’t see why we should postpone the election
again because I’m quite impressed with the
successes of the military operations going on in
the North. There is a misunderstanding about the
postponement of the general elections. In 2011,
when the general elections were conducted, we
had Boko Haram. The fact is that within that
period, somehow the level of Boko Haram was
quite serious and from all indications and from
the signals the security agencies got, people are
using Boko Haram to disrupt the elections.
“In 2011 there were no such signals and if the
elections are disrupted in a number of states
especially for the presidential elections, it will
affect the declaration of results. So the security
services don’t want to take any chances. They
did not tell Nigerians that they must rout Boko
Haram 100 per cent before the elections could
be conducted. But they want to degrade Boko
Haram to the extent that they would no longer
have the kind of strength to come out and
disrupt the elections. That is the key thing. In
terms of taking over our territories, yes we will
take over all our territories –yes, we will take
over all of our territories and very soon there will
be no part of Nigeria where they will erect a flag
and say, ‘This is a Boko Haram territory.’ That
we’ll do.”
Jonathan, though refused to accept responsibility
for escalating Boko Haram violent attacks, he
promised to put an end to the terrorist activities.

PoliticsNo Leader In The History Of Nigeria Has Pushed The Cause Of Womanhood Like' by Delejumi(op): 6:20pm On Mar 02, 2015
The decision of the group was disclosed by its
President, Prophetess Nonie Roberson, in a
statement issued in Abuja.
According to her, the women decided to endorse
the president because after seeking the face of
God, “we heard Him tell us that President
Jonathan is the man for the season,” and added
that God has not removed the mandate from the
president.
Nigerian Women in Clergy is a faith-based
women's organization that comprises female
pastors, reverend sisters, and others who believe
that the nation can only move forward through
the prayers of Nigerian women.
It will be recalled that the clergywomen have
remained very critical of happenings in the
country since the group’s inception. They had
been at the forefront of the campaign against
incessant bombing of soft targets by the Boko
Haram insurgents, and have at different points
picked up the sponsorship of victims of bomb
blasts.
Speaking on their resolution to endorse President
Jonathan, the group said, “We have the mandate
of God because we are like watchmen; we have
sought the face of God, we have prayed and we
are not ashamed to say that the scepter is still
in the hands of Jonathan. Though the battle will
be fierce, we are not moved by sight or what we
see; we are moved by divine direction. Jonathan
will come back.
“Women in Clergy is 100 percent for Jonathan,”
Roberson furthered, saying that the principal
reason for the decision is the fact that God
instructed them to do so.
“The most important reason is the fact that God
said so. Aside from that, if we are to take off
our spiritual cap and put on that of intellect, he
is still the best man for the job.
“Forget about the propaganda that is going on;
there is no leader in this country that has
affected and pushed the cause of womanhood
as President Jonathan has done.
“As women, we have been able to move away
from the noise about change or transformation
and researched into things President Jonathan
has accomplished in office and discovered that
he has outperformed all those that came before
him,” Robertson said.
According to the group, taking a look at where
the country was when the president took over
shows that the nation has made tremendous
progress in the right direction.
“The nation has moved forward in a steady
manner, which is better than having a Buhari
who will come in and move us rapidly backward.
As women, who God has set as watchmen over
this nation, we will not allow that to happen.
How do we support a man who wanted the office
of the First Lady scrapped? We are not sure
what other obnoxious laws would be made to
enslave us in future. We still want to enjoy the
current religious freedom we enjoy, and nobody
is going to change the positive direction we have
being moving [in],” she said.
On the strategy to be employed by the group in
rallying support for the president, Roberson said
the group has been praying, fasting, and holding
night vigils for the reelection of the president.
She however added that they are not ignorant of
the fact that faith without work is dead, and for
that, they have decided to take the campaign to
the people on the street and in the villages.
“We are embarking on a sensitization programme
for women and youths, by showcasing what the
president has done in the last four years. Our
tentacles goes right down to the grassroots; just
yesterday, we had women from all over the
states, including Borno, here in Abuja for a
strategy meeting, and by next week, we shall
start visiting and giving them tools in different
languages. We cannot afford to go backwards
because of change,” she said.
The statement reads further: “As women, who
God has positioned both in the home and the
church of God, we stand solidly behind the
candidacy of President Jonathan, as the scepter
has not departed from him; we stand in the gap
interceding not to allow the scepter to be
intercepted. We, Women in Clergy, are calling on
other Christian women not to allow the scepter
to be intercepted because we are not ignorant of
the devices of the enemy.
“It has also become paramount we ask Nigerians
if they truly know what change means; are we
changing for the better or for the worse?
“This is a man who has come to revive the
moribund rail system, a man who has come to
ensure that several lands are been used for
farming, he has made sure that food items prices
are stabilized reasonably. What about 35 percent
affirmative action? We are not just showing our
support for Mr. President. We have seen with
both spiritual and physical eyes that he actually
means well for the country.
“The Youwin project is one of the many
interventions of Mr. President on how to
empower our young people. We are happy he
thinks about the poor. We all know that many
people are facing challenges in the country, but
slow and steady wins the race.
“This endorsement is a mandate. It's to tell Mr.
President that we will carefully monitor his
government if he returns come May 29. We
advise him to choose those who will work with
him carefully as iron sharpens iron. We will be
very critical of Jonathan's second term, hence
he just needs people who are ready to work and
make sacrifices for the nation in his cabinet and
other important areas of government.
“There are several issues he needs to address in
his second term. Unemployment is undoubtedly
an issue, which we expect technocrats to
handle. We must not allow wrong people in
government as we make to return Jonathan in
May. He has tried in the area of job creation, but
many are still jobless. We need him to employ
the service of people who are passionate about
job creation
“We want him to also look at housing in FCT.
Houses are very expenses in Abuja and few other
states. We want him to step up in that area. We
will hold him accountable if the target we will set
for him is not met. People should hold leaders
accountable for any failure instead of calling for
their "heads" or calling for some utopian change.
“Jonathan is a good man; he is a humble man
who still calls former President, Obasanjo, a
father despite the name-calling by the former
President. This is because he knows the value of
a father. For these reasons and many more, the
Women in Clergy are endorsing Jonathan for
another four years.
“We are calling on Nigerian women to go all out
and collect their permanent voters cards, PVCs,
as it is very important. The devil you know is
better than the so-called angel of change we do
not know. Women should endeavor to sacrifice
the elections day, stay there with their PVCs and
vote for Jonathan,” Roberson advised.

WOMANHOOD - - -the Original greatness, part 1

I often wonder how the world itself would have been if this gender (Female ) did not exist. Afterall, it came to be because of a specific help it must meet in the world of a Man (Gen 2:18). But I really desire to dissect it that women did not in any point and at any time equal men.
Let's do a small study here. In Lev. 27:3-7,God was allotting VALUE to both Male and Female and it was so clear, the differences between these two characters as put by GOD.
In my very little time of going through the word of God, I had not seen where consciously or otherwise a woman handled what is mans', the woman that tried such is Athaliah and it was amazing seeing her end just like that. (2kings 11). Even Jezebel, that looks like the most powerful witch in her time was a 'VIRTUOUS' woman for her husband and she never at any point in time try to Usurp the authority of her husband.
So my friends, where did we came across all these slogans and terms we are using in order for women to take the position of Men?
If it is greatness, I am yet to meet any Woman that is greater than Deborah, I am still looking for that Ruth in my own generation and I am yet to meet gentleness personified woman in my own time like that shullamite woman, what I keep hearing about is 'what a man can do, a woman can do better'. I think these are quotes from the pit of hell. Of course the word had seen great Women, or tell me, how will you sing today and you will not be singing Fanny J. Crosby's song that had been composed in the 19th century (if you think that it's easy, compose a song today and check maybe in the next two days you yourself will remember the song) that is a greatness, can we ever forget Nightingale? What about Kuma, or don't you think Tai Ikomi is also a great woman? Excuse me, there is a long list of women who had achieve the sole aim of God in their own time but you, you are busy typing your name on search engines and the only feedback you got is from social site and now you are saying that google recognizes you.
No problem my friend, but I want you to know that what makes a woman who she is created to be is not in writing of books (which since the day you've published it, you are yet to sell 20 copies), neither is it in your beauty, and I must be sincere with you that it is not in 'gender equality' which have today increase the rate of divorce (please, I am not saying that women are household material) in our generation but rather in possessing the heart of WOMAN.
PoliticsPatrick Obahiagbon On Election Postponement by Delejumi(op): 12:58am On Feb 13, 2015
Below is Hon. Patrick obahiagbon press release on
the recent postponement of the Election:
The grand initiation of Election postponement is a
lancinating loss of another stentorian voice,
against retrograde and prebendal forces of
primitive mercantilism. That through transition on
matters pro bono publico, bears eloquent
testimony to our state of dystopia.
Such is the evanescence of politics. It's all
vanitas vanitatum. Pathetically, they have APCilize
and PDPlize our democracy into saga
vicissitudinous wahalarism! Gratias.

I think if anybody at all want a change in the date, it should not be the President but rather INEC.

SportsWhat A Way To Finish 2013 by Delejumi(op): 1:03pm On Nov 16, 2013
In the history of Nigeria, 2013 is already a year that had been recorded in History book.
With ANC trophy early in the year coupled with Mandela cup and a record breaking Eaglet and a host of wonderfull displays from the Falconet and the firing abilities of the big boys (Super Eagles) in the World cup qualifying matches so far, it will actually be a wonderfull finish for the Country as a whole to beat the Ethiopians in their final competitive match of the year which will ultimately secure the world cup ticket for the Nigerian team.
Which other is best to finish the year?
Match on EAGLES! Match on NIGERIA!!
Nairaland GeneralHappy New Month by Delejumi(op): 7:27am On Nov 01, 2013
Very great to witness another month of the year. Actually, this month could be said to be the most silent month of the year though full of expectations and anxieties.
Knowing this, let us therefore NOW make ourselves in this unproductive world an OASES which will be very VISSIBLE to the world. Not that we should be going about with EMPTY and some unreasonable METHODS, but rather, with BIBLICAL principles which is an EMBODIMENT of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Welcome to NOVEMBER.
EducationThe Meaning Of Transformation Agender by Delejumi(op): 1:39pm On Oct 16, 2013
Over three months now, Nigerian student have been sitting at home just because of the insistence of Federal Goverment of Nigeria not to implement the agreement it willingly agreed upon.
Apart from Road, Light, Water and Health, what else is the citizens asking from this Goverment? We are not interested in the money this people are looting, neither are we concern about the bogus allowances they are collecting. Actually, the probem is that this people are not doing anything for the masses, so what is now the meaning of our DEMOCRACY? Who can tell me, the people THE TRANSFORMATION AGENDER which our president is chanting about is for? What more are Nigerians asking this goverment?
By Nov.1 ASUU strike will enter its fourth month and till now, Goverment is as silent as ever.
I felt we need and indeed need a REVOLUTION in Nigeria.
Christianity EtcThe Real Sabbath by Delejumi(op): 3:11pm On Oct 13, 2013
God in ancient times never joke with the sabbath, as a matter of fact, in the law of Moses sabbath day was a 'very' sacred day that all in Isreal (living there or those who came for a business, not neccessarily a native) must of need keep the sabbath.
The advent of new testament, also emphasize the fact and the need for sabbath, but not as bogus as once focussed by the old testament, what about our own world, the sabbath actually is for enjoyment.
That actually does not reduce the importance of sabbath, actually, it gives us a glimpse of what CHRISTAINITY is and will be.
Take it or leave it, the fact that all does everything that pleases them now on "sundays" only show that people no longer value the coming of JESUS, actually by checking the book of hebrews, all we come to terms with me that the sabbath is just to prepare and to usher us into the final rest of God.
So I beleive that not all, just like in the days of Noah will enter into the real SABBATH which is GOD's ultimate goal for all, as we mark our own sundays (formally called sabbath)? Are we indeed expecting and longing for that ULTIMATE SABBATH? Happy sunday.
