Tommy92:2 weeks.. They are scam ooo. I can even share all their mails... I do bcc myself anytime I am messaging them... |
Recently, I got a message from Zaptravel asking me to register with their platform, as they are an authentic remote jobs recruiter. Little did I know that I was being set up for an employment scam. After registering, I was given a code with which I can always submit my application. The first opening they sent to me was a data entry remote role with Artrie.org. Firstly, I did not suspect a thing, but I was later confused: how could a supposedly international company be using .org instead of .com as its domain name? I did a quick research on the company, and it was very messy, and I only saw a guy working with them. I was shocked that it is somehow in 2025. With the guy, I was a little bit relieved. After few days, they sent another message saying that I have been shortlisted and that I should do an English test. I did, and they followed up with another email asking me to record a 2-minute video. After sending the video, they came up with an offer. This is their memo and they will continue to give out tasks until they ask you to do a background check, which will cost you $23. After payment, they will try to offload you immediately. In my own case, I was able to get in touch with the guy I saw online working with them, even though at the time, they had systematically phased him out after paying for the background check. NB: their approach looks real and you may sincerely not suspect. |
Where were these idiots when Biden was making public gaffes on live interviews? Shameless people. |
I had maintained over and over that when it comes to international politics, Rufaibis only seeing with his ears while he hears with his eyes. He's as ignorant as someone in a village in Gombe. |
ElSudani:Crazy people's choice like the choice of those who want to vote people who don't know the meaning of a woman, people who lied for 4 years that Biden is fine and all of a sudden they are telling people (who can't think) that Kamala is the best choice, is that not crazy? |
That is how it should be in a saner clan not those guys here that are not healthy and yet they want to die being the President. BTW, who will be the flag bearer, Newsom, Kamala Haris, Clinton or Michigan Governor? None can still stand Trump. |
Zonefree:A fool at ninety has been a fool for a very long time. |
EcoNews:Uncle please enlighten us... Israel has never been the one to ferment trouble at any time. Few years ago, Israel had a breakthrough relation with other Muslim Nation, you think if their plan was to wipe them out they would have the accord they had with Jordan 🇯🇴, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the likes? You absolutely don't know history. |
I pray we indeed experience a government by the people and for the people not a government by the elites and for the elites who weaponize poverty for their own selfish ambition. |
The Nigeria Labour Congress has has disclosed that the ongoing nationwide strike will continue despite the agreement signed with the Federal Government at Monday’s meeting. The congress, in a post on X, on Tuesday said the industrial action which has grounded the nation’s economy will continue until Tuesday’s meeting of organs of the union where all resolutions of Monday’s meeting are expected to be reviewed. “Until we hear from our organs at our meeting scheduled for today, June 4, we are still on strike,” the post read. The PUNCH reports that after a six-hour meeting with the leadership of the organised labour in Abuja, the Federal Government expressed the commitment of President Bola Tinubu to raising the N60,000 offered as the minimum wage. The agreement stated that, “The President of Nigeria, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, is committed to establishing a National Minimum Wage higher than N60,000; and the Tripartite Committee will convene daily for the next week to finalise an agreeable National Minimum Wage.” The organised labour also agreed to “immediately hold meetings of its organs to consider this new offer, and no worker would face victimisation as a consequence of participating in the industrial action.” These resolutions were signed on behalf of the Federal Government by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha. Representing the organised labour were the President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, and the President of the Trade Union Congress, Festus Osifo. Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials were confirmed dead on Monday after their helicopter crashed in a mountainous region of the country’s northwest, Iranian state media reported. State TV said earlier on Monday that there was "no sign of life" at the crash site of the helicopter that was carrying 63-year-old Raisi, 60-year-old Abdollahian and other officials after it made a "hard landing" on Sunday. The crash site was across a steep valley, according to state media, which gave no immediate cause for the crash. As the sun rose on Monday, rescuers saw the helicopter from a distance of roughly 1.25 miles, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society Pir Hossein Kolivand told state media. The officials had been missing for more than 12 hours when the helicopter was observed. Raisi and Amir-Abdollahian were traveling in Iran's East Azerbaijan province when the helicopter made what state TV described as a "hard landing" near Jolfa, a city on the border with the nation of Azerbaijan, roughly 375 miles northwest of Tehran. State TV later said it crashed further east near the village of Uzi, although details remained contradictory. The governor of the East Azerbaijan province and other officials and bodyguards were also aboard, according to the state-run IRNA news agency. One local government official described what happened as a "crash," while others referred to it as a "hard landing" or an "incident." "The esteemed president and company were on their way back aboard some helicopters and one of the helicopters was forced to make a hard landing due to the bad weather and fog," Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said in comments aired on state TV. The incident comes as Iran, under Raisi and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, launched an unprecedented drone-and-missile attack against Israel last month. Iran has also faced years of mass protests against its Shiite theocracy in response to a struggling economy and attacks on women's rights. https://www.foxnews.com/world/no-sign-life-crash-site-helicopter-iranian-president-ebrahim-raisi-leaders |
FreedomfromtheT:Everyone is entitled to their own opinion... |
FreedomfromtheT:Tinubu had done more for Nigeria than all the president since 1999 add together. We have the highest inflation rate since 1999, the highest unemployment rate, our currency has moved from bad to worse, cost of living is now trippled, Nigerians are less safer, just to mention a few. You now see that the good work should continue? |
Let the good work continue 🏃 🏃 🏃 |

Good day Nairalanders, I've been asking lately that Is there a chance that a new tech will come up that will displace internet or it will never happen? Is it possible for us to get to a time when we can connect with people across continents without the use of internet but rather a different tech? I have heard that there a few apps lately that people can chat, and video call without the internet (yet to use them though) Please I need help with the above. Thanks |
DES MOINES, Iowa – Former President Donald Trump cruised to an easy victory on Monday night in the Iowa caucuses, the lead off contest in the 2024 Republican presidential nominating calendar. The Fox News Decision Desk made call for Trump at 8:31pm ET, a half an hour after the caucuses got underway across the Hawkeye State. The former president's lightning-fast win in Iowa gives him a crucial early victory in his bid to return to the White House. "We want to thank the great people of Iowa," Trump said in a caucus victory speech in Des Moines, the state's capital and largest city. More than two hours after Trump's victory was called, the Fox News Decision Desk projected that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would edge former ambassador to the United Nations and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley for a distant second place behind Trump. "They threw everything but the kitchen sink at us," DeSantis said in a speech to supporters, as he referenced the onslaught on negative attacks and ads he faced from his rivals. "Because of your support, in spite of all of that that they threw at us, everyone against us, we've got our ticket punched out of Iowa," he touted. Haley, addressing her supporters soon after DeSantis spoke, one again framed the nomination race as a two-person contest between herself and Trump. "When you look at how we're doing in New Hampshire, in South Carolina, and beyond, I can safely say tonight Iowa made this Republican primary a two person race," she argued. Multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur and first time candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who relentlessly campaigned across Iowa in recent months, suspended his campaign after finishing a distant fourth place. Ramaswamy said he called Trump to congratulate him and said he would attend a rally with the former president in New Hampshire on Tuesday. "There needs to be an America First candidate in this race," Ramaswamy said. "Going forward, he will have my full endorsement for the presidency." Trump, speaking with Fox News Digital's Brooke Singman after his victory was projected, said he was "greatly honored by such an early call." "It really is an honor that, minutes after, they’ve announced I’ve won—against very credible competition — great competition, actually," Trump said. Trump campaign senior adviser Chris LaCivita posted to social media a photo of the former president backstage at his Iowa campaign caucus night headquarters, along with his son, Donald Trump Jr., giving the thumbs up sign in front of a TV tuned to Fox News, with the chyron "TRUMP PROJECTED TO WIN IOWA CAUCUS." Trump made history last year as the first former or current president to be indicted for a crime, but his four indictments, including charges he tried to overturn his 2020 presidential election loss, have only fueled his support among Republican voters. And heading into Monday's caucuses, Trump enjoyed a massive lead in public opinion polls in Iowa and in national surveys in the GOP nomination race. Trump's victory on Monday night was the largest margin in the history of Iowa's Republican presidential caucuses, easily surpassing the previous winning margin of 12.8 percent set in 1988 by the late Sen. Bob Dole. And with the vast majority of the ballots counted by late Monday, Trump stood slightly above 51%, to capture a majority of the vote in the caucuses. Rival campaigns and many political pundits had argued that if Trump failed to top 50% of the vote, he wouldn't meet expectations. Trump, who narrowly lost the 2016 Iowa caucuses to Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, assembled a formidable get-out-the-vote machine in the state over the past year. Trump senior adviser Chris LaCivita emphasized that the campaign put an emphasis on volunteer support. "They know the area and they know who’s caucusing in their area and they’ll be following up with them, making sure they vote," he told Fox News this past weekend. "Our focus and our premium has been on people.. and we think it’s going to bear fruit in a big way." Veteran Iowa-based Republican strategist Jimmy Centers told Fox News that Trump "won across all demographics. You look at northwest Iowa – the most conservative part of the state. Evangelical voters. He won. You look at suburban population centers. He won. You look at the rural counties that he spent the last few weeks visiting. He won and he won big in those counties." "It tells me they had a very sophisticated data-driven operation. They knew where their margins were. They hit those in the final stretch to get that number up over 50%. It’s a really impressive showing," added Centers, a veteran of multiple presidential campaigns, gubernatorial and congressional campaigns, and who served as communications director for then-Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and current Gov. Kim Reynolds. DeSantis, who was convincingly re-elected to a second term as Florida governor 14 months ago, was once the clear alternative to Trump in the Republican White House race. However, after a series of campaign setbacks over the summer and autumn, and after getting hammered by negative ads, DeSantis saw his support in the polls erode. Heading into the caucuses, DeSantis was betting that his vaulted ground game in Iowa, which is heavily reliant on the aligned super PAC Never Back Down, would carry him across the finish line. DeSantis, who made Iowa the major focus of his White House bid, predicted on "Fox News Sunday" that "we're going to do well on Monday. We've got an unbelievable organization." The AP and numerous news networks projected Trump's victory as people were still casting ballots at many caucus sites across Iowa. The DeSantis campaign blasted the move, with spokesman Andrew Romeo charging that the early call was "absolutely outrageous" and claiming that "the media is in the tank for Trump and this is the most egregious example yet." Haley, who finished narrowly behind DeSantis, grabbed momentum during the autumn and caught up with DeSantis for second place in polls in Iowa and in national surveys in recent weeks. She also surpassed DeSantis and surged to second place and narrowed the gap with Trump in New Hampshire, the state that holds the first primary and second overall contest in the GOP nominating calendar, eight days after Iowa's caucuses. Trump, who has repeatedly blasted his rivals for months, appeared conciliatory in his victory speech. "I want to thank Ron and Nikki for having a good time together. We’re all having a good time together. I think they both actually did very well," Trump said. And he said that Ramaswamy "did a hell of a job." Pointing to all three rivals, Trump added "they’ve very smart people, very capable people." banjicom:The problem is when majority of the workers agreed to protest, many backed off and they fired the people that they thought fronted it. |
Once upon a time, a young boy quit his job in search for a greener pasture in a far way Kpatsuwa village, Niger State Nigeria, with seemingly better offer, the new company convinced him to join the organization and he decided to join after many discussions. Kiara Rice Mill Ltd is the name of the organization and they are on course to be the largest rice mill in Nigeria with billion-naira investment but it is appalling that the company in so many ways are capitalizing on the corrupt system we have in Nigeria to justify their poor staff welfare. Firstly, it took many staffs (either direct or indirect staff) to sustain life threatening injuries and infact a loss of life before the company could be serious about discussing safety measures for all her factory workers, in the same way, it is mouth watering that a Rice milling company with a capacity of 400MT per day at the time did not have a working clinic for emergency purpose and the closest hospital to the factory is about 20 minutes’ drive which had proven costly for victims. As an evidence of bad welfarism from the company, the company care very less about the health of her staff to the extent that after working for 6 days in a row and in some instances seven days (when required), if any staff after those stress could break down, he or she will be fully responsible for his or her medical bills except such staff will take a loan to pay for her medical bills while all the Indian staffs are all on paid medical insurance but not for Nigerian staffs. As though this is not enough, the work environment is bad to the extent that flies is easy to come by in the factory premises and offices and untreated water from the parboiler is what we are used to as the staffs generally. Toilets are either handless or not in good shape and the offices built are without ventilation except their own (Indian) offices who are management staffs. Talking about qualification and skill, Kiara Rice Mill Ltd have many expatriates who are not qualified and made them boss over a more qualified and experienced Nigerian staffs. With proofs, many of the list they gave the Immigration services and their portfolio are totally different from their basic function and I currently have evidence to corroborate the point. While they pay their fellow Indian staff millions of naira and local allowances for the month which is different from (salary), and also provide accommodation and their breakfast, lunch and dinner every day they are content in paying local staffs forty-thousand naira (#40,000) without any allowance. There is no way of appreciating commitment of+ employee and they pride themselves in threatening anyone who tends to ask question with termination of appointment. |
My greatest regret is not using my 60k tuition to buy bitcoin in 2015 |
I thought I will see an in-depth analysis on this page but nah. Maybe you did not know that the Paris climate agreement reduces employment rate for United states while India and China among other nations are having a very little demand to reduce their envision compare to US. The trade war you mentioned, I will tackle by asking you what exactly did you think Trump was fighting far, if China impose 35% tariff on goods going to China and US is charging 15%, does that make sense to anybody? What you don't know is that America had the greatest economy during Trump, unemployment was at all-time low and NASDAQ was at all-time high. Please, if you don't know tbs nitty gritty of something, don't just come and say why you don't know. If you want to drag GRV, that is your problem but come with facts not just come base on your personal hatred for someone. |
LaLiga giants Barcelona have been charged with corruption after allegedly paying over €7.3m (£6.4m) between 2001 and 2018 to firms owned by Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, an ex-vice-president of Spain's referees' committee. Barcelona have been charged with corruption over payments the club made to ex-vice-president of Spain's referees' committee Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, . On Friday, the public prosecutor's office said Spanish prosecutors had filed a complaint against the Catalan giants and two of the LaLiga club's ex-presidents over alleged payments to a company owned by the senior refereeing official to influence match results, The club allegedly paid over €7.3m (£6.4m) between 2001 and 2018 to firms owned by Enriquez Negreira, who held the role at the Spanish football association between 1993 and 2018. Prosecutors claim that under a secret agreement and "in exchange for money", Negreira favoured Barcelona "in the decisions taken by referees in the games played by the club, as well as in the results of the competitions". A senior Barcelona official told Reuters the club expected the complaint but said it was "nothing more than an absolutely preliminary investigative hypothesis" from the prosecutors and that "now is when the judicial investigation properly begins." https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12830520/barcelona-laliga-giants-charged-over-payments-to-former-referees-official-jose-maria-enriquez-negreira |
God1000:Ode. What crime please. At least he should be prosecuted and a verdict should be reached. Seriously, why we're they after him as a candidate, as a President (impeached twice and even after he left office) and they now after him even as former President? Nothing about Hilary Clinton email, Hunter Biden Laptop scandal is there and no one is talking about that. |
As much as I would have loved this type of statistics, it is very misleading and deceitful. In a country like America, voter registration is based on party line, you either register as a Republican, Democrats or as an Independent but in Nigeria, it doesn't work that way. My question now is how did these guys came up with what they are showing us? |
PHYTECH:With the heavy presence of Christain in the North East, why is that that there is no Christain Governor and the majority of the cabinet are. Muslims? Ode |

God1000:It's amazing how some people will just wake up one day and believe everyone who massages their ego without regard for integrity. Some people don't even know Bolton and how he flirted the White house to get the job then and how he was fired and subsequently went on charade to sleight Trump. Just because you didn't like Trump does not mean you should believe every dick and harry. If you want to discuss anything foreign policy and politics, you can't start from a biased point of view |
A Texas software developer and a cook in British Columbia are among dozens of Americans and Canadians answering Ukraine's call for foreign volunteers to fight Russia's invasion. With their governments refusing to send troops to Ukraine out of fear of sparking a world war, Americans and Canadians told Reuters they were inspired by Ukrainians' fierce resistance. Many believe their democratic rights will be threatened at home if they do nothing to defend Europe. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Sunday for the formation of an "international legion." Some young volunteers are traveling straight to Ukraine to enlist. Others are applying at Ukrainian embassies and consulates before quitting jobs or dropping out of university. The mobilization was taking place as Russian artillery bombarded Ukraine's second largest city Kharkiv on Monday, the fifth day of conflict. "I feel guilty to not go," said Dax, 26, a veteran of the elite U.S. 82nd Airborne Division infantry, who planned to deploy with other former U.S. military personnel. Like many volunteers, the Alabama native declined to give his full name amid discussion on social media of the need to keep their identities and movements secret for security reasons. Canadian Bryson Woolsey quit his job as a cook on Sunday after seeing Zelenskiy's appeal. He has no military training and plans to buy a plane ticket to Poland, cross into Ukraine and volunteer for combat. "I felt like I had to do something," said Woolsey, 33, of Powell River, British Columbia, who became restless as he watched images of wounded women and children in Ukraine. Canada's Foreign Minister Melanie Joly on Sunday told reporters it was up to individual Canadians to decide whether they wanted to join Ukraine's international brigade. The U.S. Department of State did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Not all volunteers want to fight. In Quebec, 35-year-old physician Julien Auger was preparing to leave his young family to become a medic with Ukraine's health ministry and provide "neutral" humanitarian aid. "Global opinion and support is the key right now to solving the conflict," said Auger, a father of two who provides palliative care at a hospital in Saint-Jérôme. In online groups, military veterans warned volunteers with no combat training they were heading into a conflict where inexperience could be a liability for themselves and others. That did not stop those like Tai B., 23, who studied journalism in New York. "I'm not looking to be a hero, or a martyr, I just want to finally do something right," said Tai, who can cook, do basic mechanics and knows how to handle a firearm. He has contacted Ukraine's U.S. Embassy about enlisting in Zelenskiy's "international legion." Hyde, a 28-year-old from the U.S. Midwest, said he was already in Kyiv and expected to start military training on Tuesday. "I cannot bear the thought of Europe once again being plunged into warfare," said Hyde, who described himself as a gun enthusiast and avid survivalist with no combat experience. He expects to be given a helmet, body armor, knee pads and eventually a rifle. In Austin, Texas, a software developer said he would draw on his experience as a U.S. Army cadet to fight for Ukraine. "If they're willing to defend democracy then I think those that benefit from a democratic society are duty bound to support them," said the 25-year-old, who asked that his name not be used. "I'm not telling my parents until I head to the airport" https://www.newsmax.com/world/globaltalk/zewlenskyy/2022/02/28/id/1058951/ |
