VP Osinbajo really missed the point here about restructuring? Each region managing their resources and growing at their own pace will definitely make them sit tight, if the north had no free oil money they would definitely look for alternatives even in tourism and hold their leaders accountable and same is applicable to other regions. True federalism means the Government will only survive on tax & regulate the economy while the private provide jobs through investments. Please sir don't confuse us by diverting away from the essence of restructuring. Every one knows corruption is killing us even in your administration. |

BabaEleko: This is why I laugh at all these jambites and 90s babies who come on nairaland to hail DT and talk of how presidential and what an "action" and "decisive" and "good man" he is unlike so so and so simply because it fits their narratives. Some of the comments I read on this "new nairaland" makes me wonder what some people even know about world politics, and how isolated America is from the rest of the rest of the world and how DT's controversial life and policies have reduced America.
Real people with real knowledge of how nairaland was a place of intellectual in the early days know what i'm talking about. This new nairaland with kids without any real political knowledge are making NL look stupid to me.
#BringBackOldNairaland people like you who think that because they are old they are right are the reason why the world look generally stupid. There exists a lot of young folks more sensible than you are Mr Old Man!! |

Politics › Re: Arabic Words and Letters on Naira Notes by DelNifty(m): 5:03pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
Ajisafe: @Darlingbas, [I did not understand your post] at all. So, is Nigeria a Christian nation? Or, what the heck are you talking about? I checked out your picture, you look like those religious fanatics; people who are wont to foment trouble in Nigeria. I think Nigeria has gone through enough religious strifes. If you think by Obasanjo being a "Christian" he can just do things at will, you're joking.
And I saw somebody post something like the northerners are illiterate or nomadic -- you guys definitely don't know what you're talking about. I am not a northerner; in fact, I'm Yoruba, but tell me how many Ibos are uneducated that are suffering from serious illiteracy (they're at Alaba, Onitsha, and Okrika markets, selling cheap Taiwanese electronics); also, how many Yorubas are there with chronic illiteracy, selling meat at Ijora 7-UP? Please, you guys ought to come off your high horses! You think because the northerners are Muslims they are illiterate? In fact, christians are the most illiterate beings on earth -- if you want to know.
Let's talk about what is not fair: Is our calendar Gregorian or Islamic? Are our rest days (Saturday and Sunday) Judeo-Christian or Islamic? In Islamic nations Thursday and Friday are rest days. I can go on and on about things that are unfair, but favorable to the christians of Nigeria. So, do Muslims go about crying or quibling about those issues? No!
It is a fact, there are more Muslims in Nigeria than christians; with the exception of the eastern Ibos that are predominately christian, there are more Muslims in the south than chrstians. Are you going to say that the Yorubas are mainly christian? As a matter of fact, there are more Muslims than christians in Yorubaland. Period! Seun, you should let people know that religion issues are touchy and sensitive. They should refrain from those issues in order for peace to rule in the world! wow! i would love to know your tribe? but i wonder where you got your statistics from? if you want to fight or die for your religion stay away from yoruba land we don't need your mentality here. love is our first religion and we don't take shit personal don't corrupt our minds |
