Orji Uzo Kalu was convicted of corruption but his conviction was overturned by the supreme court and he is today running for president

You are right to an extent but OUK's conviction was not completely overturned by the Supreme Court and set free; his conviction was quashed/cancelled due to technicalities - the Supreme Court agreed that the trial judge shouldn't have convicted him and others because the trial judge was elevated/promoted to superior court hence the case should have been assigned to another judge to start abinito/afresh

In essence, OUK and his co-accused will be charged before another trial judge to start the case afresh (but don't ask me when pls )

love your political permutations, but unfortunately this is 2021. Politics of yester years now differs from the present. Tinubu has 80% chance of being the president. Osibanjo would naturally not want to stand against his benefactor, not this overtly meek Osibanjo.

The same permutations that brought OBJ in 1999 to palliate the West over June 12 is about to play out again. Buhari and the north will willingly hand over to Tinubu to compensate for 2015. Buhari wouldn't have won GEJ if not for Tinubu's South West.

The only losers this time remain my people from the East. We need to come out the shelve of regional politics, thanks to Ngige and Umahi who understands better. Peter Obi would have done the South East great good if he'd join APC in 2019, but he chose to remain with the PDP.

It is saddened the South East got too rigid and believing of PDP, same PDP already flying kite of a northern Presidential candidate after 8yrs of Buhari; if only Atiku, Wike etc can support Obi for President not VP but it is definitely not going to happen because both Atiku and Wike, esp, are selfish

OBJ never knew how PDP was formed as he was in prison but was chosen by kingmakers to pacify the West over June 12

Yaradua didn't indicate interest in Presidency until OBJ, El-Rufai, Ribadu, Ibori etc said so and worked it out

GEJ was interested in Bayelsa gubernatorial ticket to slug it out with Timi Alaibe but he was chosen singlehandedly by Yaradua as VP

Buhari couldn't have been President until Tinubu fully supported him alongside some people in 2015 which failed in 2011

Zik, Awolowo, Abiola, Odili, Atiku etc had all the money, connection etc to be Presidents but never got it

Nigeria kingmakers never like a strong personality to be President who can almost singlehandedly install himself; Tinubu (from my personal perspective) will never be Nigeria's President

Do note no cabal member will trust Tinubu but Osinbajo will work with them to an extent

Buhari and the cabal will pick his successor, if and when he picks Osinbajo, everyone including Tinubu will fall in line

That is the reason Tinubu is jittery and quickly declared his interest more than 12months to general election which is absurd and unnecessary distraction to the incumbent government!

Pls note I personally prefer Ngige or Ameachi or Osinbajo as President in that order; Prof. Zulum/El-Rufai as VP
