Ogbonaikenna: the reason we didn't record more death is because the motive of the gallant boys from the niger delta was different. They were not into sensely killing of innocent civilians.

But my question is: why were they(obj and yar adua) unable to defeat the niger delta boys. It shows that the nigeria army is worthless and useless from time immemorial.

The nigerian army hasn't been that good but under jonaadaft, they became worse than before. That is the main issue.

For your info, there are more military installations in the North than the South.

The British did it so in order to give the North the military might to suppress the South. The North continued in that direction.
