Who in porthacourt doesnt know how wike is so rich because of rivers money. And then the same man wants to probe another person? The same wike who was once in efcc handcuffs. For any man to accuse another, there must be some evidence. Wike has his evidences being the Governor of the state. Amechi only needs to present facts that he never did any Illegal deals while in office and that is all.

If wike has his evidence then why panel again? Cant he just ask his AG to go to court with his so called evidence and meet Amaechi in court?


If Amechi feel that he would be shotchanged, he can request for open trial where the public would have the first hand information on the process.

Either open or closed trial, its the same charade. The end game has been set and wikes thug are in charge of proceedings (only if u know the implication of that). how will open trial change the dynamics?

Unlike this present administration that always took to the Media to accuse the Jonathan administration of any expenditure that they do not understand, wike has given Amechi the opportunity to clear his name early enough so that he may finally receive the appointment that APC as a whole expected to be given to him.

He is already clearing his name at EFCC so panel i sinconsequential. Again, appointment or no appointment is none of ur business. I don't have that fact and can't argue about that.

But if that is true, Amechi should Go and secure an injection never to be probed. I believe he can't get the Injection from Rivers state because he has a lot of question to answer. Including the shutting down of the Judiciary.

If he can't, he should go and answer the panel and prove his innocence.

But I know he is not innocent because President Buhari is in support of the Probe. Wike one time said that the president will support this probe and recent appointments has given us some light. Not fact though.

Amaechi sets up commission to investigate Rivers killings


The Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has inaugurated a nine-man commission of inquiry to investigate politically-motivated killings in the state.

To head the commission of inquiry is the Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, while Sir Samuel Egbe was appointed as the secretary of the body.

Other members of the commission of inquiry are Prof. Nlerum Okogbule, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, Dr. Richard Ofuru, Mrs. Asivosuo Oriye, Dr. Joy Ejiofor, Mrs. Ayo Obe, and Rev. Father Michael Akiri.

It will be recalled that the state governor had, during a stakeholders’ meeting, vowed to inaugurate a commission to ensure that those involved in the politically motivated killings would not go unpunished.

Speaking on Thursday during the inauguration at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Amaechi congratulated the members and added that the fact-finding exercise would last for 30 days.

The governor pointed out that the reason for setting up the commission was to investigate why the victims were killed, who killed them and under what circumstances.

He added that the commission was expected to make recommendations that would help the government forestall future occurrences.
