They are only wasting their time and resources.

The bitter truth is whatever the report or findings of the panel, wike will need the security agents to execute the findings and recommendation. At that stage, the security agents will also investigate and lets see if their findings will tally with that of WIkes fraudulent judge findings.
Its a complete waste of time all in an effort to tarnish the best Rivers state governor image.

Amaechi is no saint himself but Wike is a bigger Thief and thats a fact. His antecedents is well known down here first as Obia akpor chair and Minister of education. Its all about might in which Wike will heavily suffer for. Amaechi is getting stronger by the day. Who would have thought that he will co-chair an NBA meeting. Continue to watch developments.

Amaechi sets up commission to investigate Rivers killings

The Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has inaugurated a nine-man commission of inquiry to investigate politically-motivated killings in the state.

To head the commission of inquiry is the Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, while Sir Samuel Egbe was appointed as the secretary of the body.

Other members of the commission of inquiry are Prof. Nlerum Okogbule, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, Dr. Richard Ofuru, Mrs. Asivosuo Oriye, Dr. Joy Ejiofor, Mrs. Ayo Obe, and Rev. Father Michael Akiri.

It will be recalled that the state governor had, during a stakeholders’ meeting, vowed to inaugurate a commission to ensure that those involved in the politically motivated killings would not go unpunished.

Speaking on Thursday during the inauguration at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Amaechi congratulated the members and added that the fact-finding exercise would last for 30 days.

The governor pointed out that the reason for setting up the commission was to investigate why the victims were killed, who killed them and under what circumstances.

He added that the commission was expected to make recommendations that would help the government forestall future occurrences.

Crap. The more reason why the issue has to go to court and let the lawyers thrash these irrelevant questions before a competent court. by the way, are u insinuating that security agents posted to his house makes use of unregistered firearms..............stop being gullible, Dasuki is lying.
If the Nigerian Govt bought those arms legally, they ought to have been registered from day one when those arms landed her shores but the mere fact that these sophisticated arms arent suggest to me that Dasuki is up to something fishy. He contravened the law of the land and thats is an undisputed fact.

Was OCJ Okocha also not in the hall? did these Wike Lawyers also protested his presence based on the reasons they did for Amaechi?
The good thing is the General of Common sense revolution still went ahead to play his role.

Members of the Port-Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), on Monday disrupted a session of the law body’s annual conference over an invitation extended to former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Ameachi to address them.

The placard-carrying protesters opposed Ameachi’s presence on the ground that Amaechi’s government shut courts in the state for one year during his tenure.

The protest degenerated into brawl when Ameachi, who was the co-chairman of the session, wanted to speak and another group of lawyers challenged the protesters.
For about 30 minutes, the NBA President, Augustine Alegeh (SAN) and security personnel had to plead with the protesters before order was restored and the continuation of the session, tagged: ” Public perception of lawyers; is the esteem justified?”
Expressing his disappointment, the chairman of the session, Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, said: “It is sad that people who claimed to be learned gentlemen are irresponsible.”
Oshiomhole added: “This is the height of irresponsibility, lawyers shouting like touts. My privileges have been violated, the rules of the professional conducts thrown to the dust bin. I could not differentiate between the touts in motor park Benin City and the lawyers”.
Oshiomhole said that the scene must have been one of the most embarrassing moments for the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajana, who presented the lead paper.
In his remark, when he was allowed to continue, Ameachi said that while the disruption lasted he was telling his lawyer that it was politics and whether it would be proper to get others to disrupt any similar speech by his successor, Nyesom Wike.

Why the raid and siege in his country home?

I thought Federal Security Agents were still assigned to him and they were even on duty on the said day the DSS raided his house.

Moreover Dasuki is entitled to 48 hours - 7days to return government properties in his possession.

In Dasuki's capacity as NSA within the last 24 hours before the raid, the charge is the most ridiculous judicial exercise DSS will engage in their history.

How can unlicensed Firearms be properties of Govt? The Govt has no records of those sophisticated firearms with him and he surely has no intention to return them. Let him prove his innocence in the law court.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has taken Sambo Dasuki, immediate past national security adviser, to court for alleged possession of unlicensed firearms.
In a statement made available to TheCable on Monday, the DSS, through its acting spokesman, said: “You may recall that on 16 July, 2015, the Department of State Services (DSS), carried out a search operation on properties belonging to the immediate past national security adviser, Mohammed Sambo Dasuki (Col/rtd), in Abuja and Sokoto.

“This action was necessitated by credible intelligence which linked him to acts capable of undermining national security. The search operation led to the recovery of large cache of arms and ammunition among other things and for which further investigation was conducted.

“Consequently, on Monday 24 August, 2015, he was charged to court based on evidence so far obtained, but which relates to possession of fire arms without license punishable under section 27(i)(a)(i) of the Firearms Act Cap F28 LFN 2004. This is in line with democratic practice and our avowed commitment to the rule of law, in which nobody is deemed to be above the law no matter how highly placed in the society. Accordingly, the general public will be duly informed as the matter progresses.

The key word there is UNLICENSED FIREARMS. To fools and cohorts of the killer party, am quite certain it will still make no sense to them. Unlicensed Firearms is surely a threat to National Security and Dasuki has no right to have such. These arent just ordinarily firearms but sophisticated ones whose details were hidden from the govt of Nigeria till when his house was raided. DSS on point. Let Dasuki continue to battle that charge pending when Buhari finishes probe on purchase of firearms since 2007 which i am quite certain he will also be culpable.
