Life is getting better now because of software.
That is one of the reason why other professional will tell you he/she can produce architectural drawing for you! Software has cause so many ahit for architect(although you will notice the difference when they present the drawings )

I advised the OP to fire the architect. My opinion and is based on what the OP wrote. You have yours I have mine.

Please what could be the cause of the cracks on this wall. Construction is still on going. Just finished the Parapet and about to do wood work/roofing.

It’s just a matter of presenting your defense on why the architect is right and why everyone complaining about the design are wrong.
The client brought the design here for review and everyone has the right to express their mind.

It’s not about the people but the design.

Majorly, the lobby(T-lobby, the darkness will be too much). Tell him to reduce the lobby.

I understand the architect is trying to make sure all the rooms are cross ventilated, therefore reason for the irregular shape(recess). It would have been easier for him if it is a 4 bedroom, it always difficult to get a 3 bedroom cross vent.

The ogas here will add more solution.

It is very important for an architect to ask for client brief before designing, even if the client ask him to design 3 bedroom for him, he should ask for brief. We should know the difference between an Architect and draftman

We used to have many sand/granites suppliers here but nowadays they have all dissapeared. I dont know if they are all out of business or just dont frequent NL anymore.
Recently I contacted one of them for a friend, and he told me has since gone out of business. So, I dont know o.

Do u know the meaning of flow chart in architecture? Do u know why a kitchen door will often times come with 3 doors regardless of its size If u are an architect, u will know why the issue of lobby lighting & ventilation is an endless problem when u are not making use of courtyard.

Your design is fine, lobby lighting will always be problem even in commercial designs especially when there is no courtyard. What he needs to do is to take the toilet at the left side to the back & create a window to light the lobby & u can also throw in light from the laundry & the living room door to lobby should be glass, if not for d direct, it ought to be an opening. Just explain the things u need to him, he will effect it. He should also close d exit door from the laundry.
