Having excessive resources which give room for wasteful spendings and looting/embezzlement is our problem in NG. In other words, we are too rich that's our main issue.

Well, your post was mainly about the history and political alignment/demography of Ogun state voters.
My question was, Adeola Yayi, who has always claimed to be Lagosian, until he sneaked into Ogun politics in 2022/23, does he deserve the votes of Ogun electorate ahead of other illustrious sons and daughters of the state?

Last week, Jimoh Ibrahim claimed that "Tinubu will seat in the front role at UNGA, close to President Trump and address the assembly at 10:30, when Nigerians will not be asleep".
Now, these government lying tongues have changed their words again and will as usual make deliberately deceiving citizens look normal and inconsequential.
I just wonder how people still manage to support these rogues and bloody liars.

Gbenga Daniel 8 years, Dapo Abiodun 8 years making 16 years. Even Ogun central that's politically savvy in the state have only had 12 years with Osoba and Amosun while Yewa and Imeko are yet to have a taste

I agree with your comment. The high inflation rate and the floated Naira has made the value of the Naira to be worse off than it was back in 2023 at the inception of this government. The bogus figure that the government of the day is throwing around as economic growth is mere numbers with zero value. Take for instance the value of a naira to a dollar and the pump price of PMS back in 2023 to what we have today. Hence why I laugh when I read people saying that the economy is growing when in actual sense, we are worse off but only a smokescreen growth has been created with the floating of our currency.

Under the civil service rule, he should retire at the attainment of age 60. However, with APC, you can not be too sure of anything, remember how they walked round the Egbetokun scenario back then.

If truly he is the the most senior perm sec. in the FCSC commission, they you can't fault his appointment. I was a civil servant and I understand very well the issue of seniority in service. I can only say he is lucky because having being a permanent sec for 7yrs plus months, he was staring at retirement in the face before this big break happened for him . I do hope he maximises the opportunity for the good of all workers.

With ADC having just 17+k votes in the election and NDC non appearance in these off circle elections just indicate that 2027 general elections will be a walk over for APC nationally and in most states, because the opposition/third forces are just absent from what we have seen in Ekiti, other bye elections and now Osun state.
