A red line with abandoned coaches in the USA that were sold after being idle for several years due to it being below standard, that's what we are celebrating as an achievement in a state with an IGR of the size of Lagos State? I see a lot of comments here are meant to target one ethnic or other for blame while shamefully overlooking the bad image that the actions of these non glorious fellow citizens of ours are attracting to this country. While I commend operatives of the NDLEA for a job well, I do hope proper investigation will be conducted into all these cases and all guilty parties be duly prosecuted according to the laws of Nigeria. 1 Like |

This is one of the reasons that western country will continue to progress unlike Africa. They seek national interest ahead of personal benefits. Mrs Badenock contested and lost to the new PM, but she was considered to help the government with her ideas and she accepted, but in Africa, with Nigeria as case study, their so called manifesto is unique to them and candidates do not close ranks after elections for the betterment of the country. All you will see here will be bad blood and how to pull down the new government through hates and tongue lashing. |

AtikuOkowa:I am not blaming Ayu, however, this is Politics. You give something to have another. I remember when Bamanga Turkur was forced out during OBJ's time, he was compensated with Board Chairman position of a Federal parastatal , so also was Gemede, Ogbeh, Nwodo etc, they gave up position to gain other things. Being bitter and losing everything will cost everyone and it will not end well either way for the individual on the long run. |

Even without being told, Ayu should have stepped aside honourably, because PDP internal politics does not permit both Presidential aspirant and national chairman to come from the same region. Having said that, if this request by the Wike group is what will make the party to forge a united front going into an election year, then Ayu should sacrifice himself for the good of the party. |
