I had a rare opportunity of attending a joint ministerial Board meeting towards the unbundling of NRC 4yrs ago, and I was amazed at this man's level of Knowledge of the transport industry. I just hope power drunkenness and the supervising Minister of the ministry of transportation doesn't thwart his vision at the end of the day.

The last election was the best opportunity to avert the APC debacles but the opposition were too fixated on their individual ambition thereby allowing BAT to buy his way to Aso rock, of course with the massive help of INEC. Now, this, under President Tinubu. The World Bank is expected to approve another loan request worth $500m by December 16, 2024, for the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project – Scale Up project.

I am not surprised, because taking a look at our budget, you will realize that most of the capital expenditures were things that had been budgeted for in the past and in some cases, huge amounts had been previously expended for the same project, but this is Nigeria, money just has to be spent and people have to give a reason to milk the treasury .

Borrow money, spend it on non effective things, then go back to borrow more, finally, start pleading for debt pardon. It's the same circle over and over again.
