This is what you look like after chopping too much akpu.. yeye ipods... ![]() |
Okoroawusa:This useless ipob and their worthless propaganda don turn to daily comedy. The man sef na one yeye association leader in Turkeyso who dash the ignorant ipobs diplomat? Useless illiterates. |
potipher7:He can afford it, but he's still a debtor owing the people of Nigeria N11 billion that he refused to pay hence the government taking away his properties across the country. Look in the mirror for zombie.. |
[s] Rizstar:[/s] You are crying over and blaming a public official in Lagos state for you misery and predicament in your village when in fact your worthless village governors, elected federal officials and appointed federal ministers and leaders are actually responsible for your problems, they are the jokers you sent to Abuja to look after your interests and make sure you get your share. It is not the job of a public official in Lagos state to give you federal presence, that's the job of your federal senators, reps and agency directors and your governors. Den don't take hate and bitterness swear for you ipobs ... |
Silly ipobs. It's too late for worthless and meaningless interner essay, it's time to chop kobonko. |
OmoEpe:Please name the Tinubu projects and also include the date Tinibu awarded the projects. This is what you should have done. On the other hand Ambode's Projects are ABSOLUTELY his from conception to execution. How that amounts to shifting goal post is still a mystery to meIn your initial post, you said I shouldn't judge based on Fashola's 8 years, but after posting Fashola's completed projects within his first 2 years, you replied by shifting and claiming that Fashola commissioned Tinubu's projects in his first 2 years. That was pole shifting simply because I proved you wrong. Concerning power plants n co hope you have heard of Aboru, abuleegba and Ajah bridge.Fashola built power plants in his first 2 years and built 4 or 5 in total, how many have Ambode built in his first 2 years? And Fashola built bridges in his first 2 years and he also built still the best bridge in Nigeria so what's your point? Also the 4 new rice mills powering Lake rice isn't Fashola's.What 4 new rice mill? Where are they located? Who commissioned them? Ambode only signed an agreement with a swiss firm to build rice mill in Lagos so come back with that when it's built and commissioned. The Only rice mill in Lagos was built and commissioned by Fashola in 2011 in Imota, Ikorodu after his first 3 years in office. [s]Neither is the Epe resort reclamation currently ongoing nor is the badagy tourism centre that are both meant to turn Lagos into a major international tourism destination, nor is the 3000MW plant which approval has just being secured by the NERC.Come back with all that when they are built and commissioned. You can not change facts and document achievements. It's on record that Fashola commissioned more projects in 1 month than Ambode's 2 whole years and even more than what many other governors commissioned in their 8 years in office. |
OmoEpe:No need to shift goal post. So it's ok to conclude that everything Ambode is doing now belongs to Fashola right? Fact is, it doesn't matter what part of Fashola's years in Office, 1st to 8th year in office, he was commissioning multiple projects every week and he was a million miles ahead of Ambode across the board because he was not just building roads, he was building power plants, water works, schools, bridges, housing estates, hospitals, skills centers, drivers institutes and so on. Ambode is too far behind per Lagos standard. |
desiredmee:Kindly articulate how he's not doing well, also in what area? Basically, he failed based on what? |
Fashola commissioned more projects in 1 single month than many governors in his time commissioned in 8 years. . |
May 25, 2010 - Fashola Hands Over Eight Roads, 2million Gallons Water WorksFashola commissioned 1 bridge, 19 roads and 1 2 million gallons water works in 1 month/May 2010, his 2nd year in office. |
Sep 3, 2009 - Fashola Commissions Transit Home For Victims Of Domestic ViolenceJust after 1 year in office. |
Fashola Commissions 103 New Classrooms In One DayStill 2010, Fashola's 2nd year in office. |
shervydman: Fashola Commissions More Waterworks, Maternal Child Care Centre Mar 4, 2010 - Fashola Hands Over 12.45 MW IPP Powerplant For Iju And Adiyan Waterworks Feb 4, 2010 - Fashola Commissions Six Major Projects In One Day May 13, 2010 - Fashola Commissions 20 Bed Accidents And Emergency Centre Feb 10, 2011 - Fashola Hands Over Four Major Projects^^^^^ That was just within a few months in 2010, Fashola's 2nd year in office. I wasn't unreasonable with my assertions because in Fashola's 2nd and 3rd year, he's already commissioned countless roads, hospitals, clinics, bridges, health centers, water works, schools, power plants, skills centers and so on. ....but to date, how many major projects have Ambode commissioned? Count 5 if you can and last I checked, he's yet to move beyond roads, overhead bridge, and flyover. At the rate Ambode is going, he won't match Fashola's 2nd-year achievements after his 8 years in office even with his overloaded N860 billion budget. For what it's what, I started countless threads on NL about Fashola commissioning multiple projects weekly and even daily and he did so until his last week in office. Fashola commissioned more projects/Major projects in 2-3 months of his 2nd year in office than the whole of Ambode's first 2 years in office and I have my facts to stand on. No public official or government in Nigeria can match Fashola's achievements in office. |

PapaBrowne:Of what relevance is IGR if you don't have the means, capacity, and comprehensive collection system in place to collect and enforce payment? Sadly for you and your weak intellectual curiosity, having potential is quite different from acting and actualizing the potential. Potential did not grow the IGR from N500 million/month to N23 billion, it was accomplished because of human action, Fashola's executive competence and his sense of duty and purpose. And even if Osun was my village, I'd be very very happy because Osun state achieved and delivered more projects than your entire backward region combined and if you are bold enough to compare what your entire region delivered with Osun state, let's do, but I KNOW YOU WON'T ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE COWARDS. |
PapaBrowne:Who grew Lagos state's IGR from N500 million/month to N23 billion/month? Fashola. Who grew and left the largest state IGR in the history of Nigeria for Ambode to work with? Fashola You really need to worry more about your poor and backward village for a change because Fashola or Ambode, Lagos remains on the move. |
PapaBrowne:You mean like Fashola finishing all the projects your GEJ and your PDP uncles abandoned right? Yes, Fashola was able to build bridges and the best bridge in Nigeria in Lagos state in less than 3 years because he did not have to ask for or beg for money from corrupt and incompetent people from other parts of the country called federal lawmakers and we still remember how your type clapped and danced when the same crooks called lawmakers slashed his budget, not you hypocrites are wondering why federal projects are not materializing overnight? Even with your hypocrite mentality and your enemy of progress uncles at the national assembly, show us the federal projects your uncles completed while in office for 16 years and while you are at it, show us the ones completed by your own governors. |
[s] PapaBrowne:[/s] Fashola built 15 waterworks How many Ambode don build? None Fashola built 5 power stations How many Ambode don build? None Fashola's work is enough to fill more than 10 pages on NL, but Ambode's work can not fill 1 single page. I know hate and ignorance are the foundation of your comment so I do understand. You can say all that rubbish about Ambode after graduating from roads to Hospitals, Schools, power plants, clinics, bridges, skills centers and so on. |

bluestone77em:To start with, who tribalised the thread by saying all the projects are in the SW, the North and not in the SE? Now after proving you wrong with facts that there are ongoing projects in the SE, I'm all of a sudden tribalistic? You people really are a different breed I swear, you see and assimilate everything based on tribal sentiments and emotions instead of facts. Completed or not, work is going on and you can not prove that the projects have been abandoned and the minister as shown in this thread with his entourage travel around the country to make sure work projects are not abandoned and work is going on across the board. When Nigeria was washed with oil money under Jona and the PDP, nothing was done and every kobo was looted, you people saw nothing wrong and in fact, you were shouting GEJ till 2019 and so on. When the lawmakers slashed his budget, you people were happy because if hatred and tribal nonsense against Fashola, but you forgot too quickly about the federal projects in your own backyard that must not be abandoned or stopped because of funds. Fashola is doing his job and he is certainly not your problem, you are your own problem. |
Yyeske:What you called insinuation is what I call expressed opinion and if you are going to question or litigate my duly deserved opinion on a public forum, then, by all means, you have to show us specific facts to litigate with, like how she expressed to you that she did not and if you can not do that, respect my opinion and move on. |
Yyeske:Did she tell you she wasn't? |
Yyeske:I was actually talking about her PUBLIC image, not pubic hair. |
idealogical:Yes good for her, but we know she is deep in her heart, she issued the denial to protect her public image and marketability. |

Ratello:What have you said? Was Fashola the works commissioner when he delivered the best bridge in Nigeria in less than 3 years while our own village governors can not build common 2nd NB in 30 years? Was he a works minister or doctor when he delivered more hospitals and maternity centers than all the governors in Nigeria combined? Was he power minster when he built 5 power plants? Was he a works minister when he built 15 water works? You people reason like school children for real. |
?? The joke is on him but the bigger joke is that he didn't even realise it. And how come our Lagos chief servant forgot to include his long years of service to the dubious prophet of Baal, the late Edward Okeke popularly known as Eddy Nawgwu
