Kikikiki, many of your explanations are discordant and standing on one leg.
I'm very open to study the Bible so long as the person is ready to open the Bible..

By tertiary, I meant that not what we were talking about at the time.

Kobojunkie:
I never asked anyone to trust me. My explanations of what are tertiary? undecided

God Himself told you in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 that His Old Covenant agreement, He made only with those who are descendants from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob aka those who have the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins, and He meant it as a National Constitution for living in the Land of Canaan which He, God gave only to them. So, am I to take it that you don't believe what God said there or what? undecided

1. Shadow of what things to come? What exactly does that mean? undecided

2. This explanation does not help at all given that the Old Covenant isn't even God's Oldest Covenant as written of in scripture. undecided

3. It isn't scripture that is confusing here but your claims regarding what is written that is. undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 6:33pm On Apr 28, 2022
Simple question... Why should anyone trust YOU about biblical issues?
Your explanations are tertiary.
Kobojunkie:
Well....God's Old Covenant Law of Moses was explicitly given by God to only those who have the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. Since Gentiles were intentionally excluded from that agreement by God Himself , I wonder instead what a gentile means when he claims the Old Covenant is a shadow of things to come.. undecided

Again...1. Shadow of what things to come? What exactly does that mean? undecided

2. This explanation does not help at all given that the Old Covenant isn't even God's Oldest Covenant as written of in scripture. undecided

3. It isn't scripture that is confusing here but your claims regarding what is written that is. undecided

So why should I or anyone take you serious about biblical issues?
Kobojunkie:
LOL... I read those and left them as simply the views of those authors expressed by them. undecided

Are you joking or what?
You mean you've never read Hebrews 10:1 or Colossians 2:17?

Don't you also think, it's deliberate not to have announced this whilst Sowore was in detention?
He prolly wouldn't want someone who'd drag the Presidential slot with him. Sowore believes he's the only one with the magic wand.
People can see this.
I don't believe Nigerians are aversed to freedom just that
1.Many believe Sowore was part of this problem and,
2.He can't be trusted
omooba969:
AAC didn't wait till now, they have been running their party activities just like every other party. It's common knowledge how they have deliberately slowed down AAC by the illegal detention of their leader.

Well, Nigerians are a different breed - they are averse to FREEDOM.
Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 6:06pm On Apr 28, 2022
You are very funny...what you fail to understand is that the old covenant is a SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME. JESUS came to clarify what wasn't clear to the teachers of the law.

To break things down for you.
Take a look at your shadow and tell me where your eyes are....the best you can see is the outlines of the whole body.

The Bible is only confusing to those who are impatient and carnal.
Like I said, I enjoy discussing scriptures because the more I dig the move I discover that every scripture is connected.
Kobojunkie:
If indeed you studied, you would noticed some of the major discrepancies between what Jesus Christ suggested as opposed to the actual details of the Old Covenant Law of Moses which He also mentioned. However God, we know, does not contradict His own Word and Law, neither does God change His mind. undecided

So it follows that the details in that story don't match nor add up to God's Truth, and for good reason... it was a story used to teach a lesson and nothing more. undecided

But as I already said, you are free to believe as you choose. undecided

Friend, I study to show myself approved unto God not men...I'm never scared to discuss scriptures or ask questions because I know His Word is true.I simply asked those questions to tell you I know what I'm saying. Many people think the Lazarus story is a parable but I found out myself it wasn't.

First you don't even understand the phrase "no Bible verse stands in isolation". It simply means scripture explains scriptures. A bible student with God's spirit can link any Bible verse.. Let me not waste time on that because I might be confusing you the more.

I don't even want to comment on what you wrote about every pastor.

The bolded is your opinion too. Not everyone live for money. What they do may attract money because it has value.

Now to King Solomon,
He is an example of a wealthy man who tried all he could imagine and saw THAT IT'S ALL VAINITY.Was he not the one who said " money answereth all things " that you are quoting? Can you understand money more than him?

Besides, I don't know where you're are getting your idea from. If I said EVERYTHING IS NOT MONEY and MONEY IS NOTHING, are they the same thing?

So calm down.. You are free to worship money if you like.
What I said is the Truth and doesn't need to be popular.

Remag666:
First of all I'm not turning it to something else I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy in your statement
To say no Bible verse stands alone is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard the books in the Bible are clearly separated because they convey different meanings you can't tell me chapter 1:1 of Exodus is remotely related to what is in Revelations undecided ......the Bible is full of proverbs hidden in verses how you view and interpret them may be different from mine that don't mean my interpretation is wrong or yours is right it's a thing of CHOICE. Even pastors attach different meanings to Bible verses last last everybody go pick the one wen suit them

Same thing applies to that statement "money isn't everything" if you say money isn't everything to you fine me I think money is everything in this world.

I money is NOTHING to some people why do they wake up everyday and start looking for NOTHINGhuh or is there a human being on this earth that doesn't try to get money??

Even a 2yr old child if asked to pick between some cash and food will not think twice before picking up the cash why? It's an innate feeling human beings go after the most valuable things in this world and money stands at the top of the list because with that you can get every other thing......that's what I think the Bible is talking about when it said "money answereth all things" if you think contrary I'd like to hear your interpretation since you're the Bible scholar here smiley

You used king Solomon as an example of someone who saw money as nothing.... you're wrong sir he didn't see money as nothing where did you even get that idea that he saw money as nothing?
He may not have attached much importance to money cause obviously he had more than he could spend but to say it's nothing to him is a lie.

Solomon asked God for wisdom knowledge and understanding...and he used that to get more than enough wealth which only points to one thing that money has been his target right from the beginning and you say money meant nothing to him.
I still believe most of our choices revolves around money.
I've been like that right from my childhood so there's no point trying to change my view sir cheesy
You say I no sabi Bible and you sef no sabi Bible everybody know say nobody sabi Bible finish for this world that one no be new thing.

Could you point to another similar "parable" of Jesus.Let's compare
Kobojunkie:
There is nothing clearly not a parable about it. undecided

Also recall that in regards to Abraham who was mentioned, Jesus Christ already taught that though dead, Abraham was yet living, this in addition to confirming the resurrection to come. undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 4:57pm On Apr 28, 2022
I asked because it clearly wasn't a parable
Kobojunkie:
Well, given that Jesus Christ didnt announce all of His parables as such, I would say you are clearly looking for the wrong thing. undecided

The answers you need are embedded in the story, and in God's Truth regarding His promise in the Old Covenant. undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 4:53pm On Apr 28, 2022
Try to help me locate where this teaching is parable... I seem not to find it
Kobojunkie:
Not really! Are you somehow thinking there has only ever been one Lazarus the beggar and one rich man?? undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 4:48pm On Apr 28, 2022
So Jesus being specific and calling Lazarus the beggar didn't mean anything to you?
Kobojunkie:
Something else like what? undecided

I simply expantiated on what I had said earlier. The mentioning of names does not change any of God's Law or the fact that the story told was a parable. undecided

Christianity Etc › Re: Singer Osinachi Nwachukwu Didn’t Make Heaven, Pastor Shares About His Revelation by derecho(m): 4:32pm On Apr 28, 2022
I asked a simple question...Let's build the discussion gradually
Kobojunkie:
God never promised Heaven or Hell aka the Kingdom of God to the people of the Old Testament - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. What He promised them is instead eternal life , and so your righteous men of Old are in their Graves waiting for the resurrection when they will be raised to enjoy long life in the land of Canaan - likely during the millennial rule- which is what God promised to them directly. undecided

The Kingdom of God which is Heaven and Hell, came much later with Jesus Christ and according to Jesus Christ, entry will only take place after He returns and judges the righteousness of all men, what some of you refer to as the great white throne jugdement. undecided

Did you notice Jesus saying speaking in specifics and calling the name? Study that passage well.
Kobojunkie:
The story of Lazarus and the Rich man is instead a parable Jesus Christ told to teach His followers that no one will be sent back from the dead to warn the living. Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 and John 5 vs 19 - 29 are not parables but instead actual teachings of what is to come. You know this because the Kingdom of God, which Jesus Christ brought to men did not even become fully available for men to enter until after Jesus Christ's blood was shed on the cross - Matthew 26 vs 28 - 30. undecided

The Covenant was ratified on the cross and the gates to the Kingdom thrown open to all after He died on the cross, not before. undecided

Great, the Bible is your source.

Did you factor in Luke 16:19-31 ?

Jesus Christ Himself told you this in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 and in John 5 vs 19 - 29 undecided

Heaven and Hell will both not be open for admission until after Jesus Christ returns and judges all at once. No body is in Heaven or in Hell even to this moment is what that means. undecided

Though, i don't easily believe people saying someone has gone to heaven, I can easily believe that some people are in hell fire.
Reason?
It's easier to go to hell fire than make heaven.

However, we'll know who is where when we get there.
