pryme:And i guess that's were the story ended there right, in that century. Infact, what am i saying, you're just plain wrong, or maybe you're just trolling; in any case, you just sound stupid. 400 years ago would be 1624, the Mayflower would have just been about 4 years old by then, and you think that was when slavery occurred in the U.S, Wow... Like i said, i doubt you even know any history from the last 50 years, go watch something or Read (that will obviously be a first), and shut up. |
pryme:First of all, i'm a Nigerian, and the fact that one of your first statement is "What happened more than 400 years ago", yea, there's no need to even talk to you... That statement already loses all credibility of you knowing anything about history even in the last 50 years. |
Sladem05:While like i said, i don't care about the Reparations; but your take is a very weird take, especially given the number of groups that has gotten reparations from the U.S due to historical discrimination... It's like you fail to grasp the idea that this are things that will be set up for other communities sometimes, but when it comes to the Black community, it's "Why should they get it?. Then why the f*ck did a lot of the other historically disadvantaged communities get theirs?. I don't want to be insultive, and sorry if this comes across that way; but do you not realise the double standard in there, or is the major Nigerian propesity to glamourise the Far-Right (Not Right-Wing, same Political side though), anyway, the extreme section of a political side that has historically caused the majority of the Racist issues in the U.S and even Germany; it's like glamourising that political side is clouding the judgement of some Nigerians, or making them Simps to the White man's point of view in history... Because the other day, i actually saw a Nigerian saying "The U.S segregation was not racist, that the White men were not Racist"🤦🤦🤦. What would will hear next from some Nigerians?, "Slavery was not bad?". I'm starting to understand why tribalism is a very serious issue in Nigeria, it's just a tribal version of Racism; because for a lot of Nigerians, if it's not the historical plight of their own particular group, they become very ignorant... Basically the "I'm ok with it as far as it's not happening to me" types. I've seen some of your above comments talking about how the MAGA and extremist GOOD OLE DAYS rhetoric doesn't actually exist. And i get that to some extent, you're just conscious of the fact that the Black American community has a higher propesity of certain unscrupulous activities compared to other groups; so i totally understand it... But you can't also not look at the historical aspect of things and how it shaped the mentality especially in places that will today be referred to as "The hood"; because a lot of people that lived that history are still very much alive, that's to tell you how recent it is. I've heard latinos who lived in the Segregation era say this same shit, that they didn't have it close to as hard as Black Americans, because there was no actual laws segregating them, so any Racism they got came from just pure individual/mental bias; not set in stone concrete Laws... The U.S was literally a hierarchy system, and Black Americans were at completely the bottom of the food chain. |
Sladem05:I don't bother with some of your categories because i can't be bothered with the ignorance. Anyways; 2). I didn't say $56k was super high, in fact, i specifically buttressed on that in my last comment... Your comment was they financially declining, and i literally just debunked it that since that 2017 in article was brought out, they've financially been becoming better; and the Latino community financial numbers there too because of the fact that the difference between both is marginal, the White population is at $76k, and the highest if i'm not mistaking is Indian-Americans at $130k. 4). That's laughable, do you even know what's going on in India?. Indians are still by far the biggest migrants of any group in the world, fleeing India because they can't take the depreciating state of the country anymore... "They overtook Great Britains GDP", yes, technically they did do that, with a 1.4 Billion population😂😂😂, India is still a very much Population driven economy, not a technological or industrially driven economy, though they're way better than Nigeria in those aspects. The Phujabis want out, the North-Easterners want out because the country is by and large going nowhere... India has one of the worst Per Capitas in Asia at $2600, the UK you're talking about is at $52000, which is the true representation of how Rich and well to do a country is per the population, as far as it is adequately used and improved on, because it evaluates GDP by the actual population; by the way, Nigeria currently has a per capita of $1100🤦🤦🤦... If i'm not mistaken, any country about $10k-$15k is considered a 2nd World country, $15k and above is a 1st world country, and $10k and below is a Third world country... India is categorically a SHITHOLE, it has one of the worst development per population in all of Asia; that's why i remember seeing an Indian comment in regards to the Moon Landing were the dude said that "The Indian government is doing everything to look powerful, while the average Indian is suffering". That's not exactly how he said it because i can't remember exactly how he said it, but that was the general gist of it. Edit: Some graphs on what i'm talking about👇. Look at the Influx of Indians fleeing from the U.S to Canada because they don't want to get deported back to India, look at the amount of Indians recently doing a sought of Education scam just to get out of India. The scam entails that they use an Educational path to go to Europe, North American, or Australia, and when they get there, if they can't extend their Visas, they just go off-grid, i watched a documentary on this very issue earlier this year... India is only seen as an upcoming Powerhouse due to the share circumstances that their extreme population has resulted in the absolute numbers like absolute GDP being high, thus a "Population driven Economy"; the country is very much categorically a SHITHOLE, everybody knows this... It's basically the same issue with Nigeria being seen as an African powerhouse... It's terrible when a country's economy majorly grows because of Population growth. I have Nepali friends, India's neighbour, and they will literally laugh at what you just said about India. 3). This goes back to the whole braindrain mentality. When you majorly take the cream of the crop to a specific place, they are bound to be successful; the U.S is not an easy a place to migrant to for Nigerians because of the big ass Ocean seperating us, majority of the people who are then determined to get there are some of the best we have to offer. The rhetoric of Nigerian-Americans are some of the best rhetorics of Nigerians anywhere, let me show you the rhetorics of Nigerians in some other places... In Italy, Nigerians are literally associated with Organised crime; Dubai banned Nigeria for a while because of Cultism. In Switzerland, the Nigerian demographic has the 2nd highest crime rate of any demographic in the country, literally the 2nd, just behind Angolans; Seychelles banned Nigerians for a while because they found out that fraudulent activities increased after they relaxed entrances of Nigerians; I don't even need to talk about the South African one. What does almost all these countries have in common, easier access to them from Nigerians allowing more Nigerians that you won't associate with being the Cream of the crop into them, many pass through Land/Water routes like this👇, especially into Europe. Now to answer your question on "Why can't Black Americans?", Black Americans do make it, countless have, that's like saying "Why can't Nigerians make it?", because most Nigerians categorically hasn't made it... Anyway, Black Americans in American is a true representation of the community, and what i mean by that is it entails both the best of the best, the crazies, and the just general norms; living in what you'd basically associate as their homeland at this point... Nigerian-Amercans is not a true representation of the Nigerian community... Like i said before in my previous comment, does that mean that i'm justifying certain aspects of the Black American community like having the highest rate of gang activity per % population, of course not, and i will never justify it; but it doesn't also mean that i will overlook the history that has led to the situation it is today. Of all groups in the U.S, no group has had it as hard as Black Americans has had it, this is a fact that even some Racist who doesn't want to a conversation on U.S Racial history doesn't dispute. Even after the Civil Rights Movement in the "60s and everyone lawfully had "Equal Rights", Black neighbourhoods were being Redlined for years, loans were given to Asian migrants to open businesses in Black neighbourhoods, but same loans will be refused to Black people; this is a part of U.S history even Asians today talk about... That is why i told you in a previous comment that "When the world seems like it is completely against you, your options becomes extremely limited"; this is were the mentality of "Beating the system at any cost" came into the Black American community, "I will do anything to beat the system", and the easiest route to make money and beat the system became Crime, and the people who made it became idolised by the younger ones, starting a chain reaction that has led to an increased idolisation of illegal activities in illegal activies. What now needs to be tackled in the Black American community is the IDOLISATION of finding anyway to beat the system, they need to understand that "They don't need to beat the system anymore", because the system is way better now than it used to be... Another example of this terrible idolisation from another community's perspective is our very own Nigerian community, the idolisation of fraudulent crimes in Nigeria, Cultism and its depravity, and how it all started; but ours may even be worse, because it came as a result of we putting the country in a crap state by ourselves... You want another example, read about the U.S Mafia, and the idolisation it carried for a long time. The problem with how you view Black Americans is that you can't differentiate the history Black Americans has historically lived with the one White Americans has lived... To you, it's "they were in a developed country, so they should have that to their advantage", but when the country you live in has historically extremely conditioned and put you at the very bottom of the barrel, cut open that barrel and allow you to fall, where do you think that advantage starts coming from, it becomes almost Non-existent. Some Nigerians don't understand how history can change the mentality of people especially when you're traumatically at the disadvantage... The f*cked up part is that we see this very issue in Nigeria all the time, so how Nigerians don't apply it to the historical plight of others doesn't make any sense to me. Also, Black wealth will become Zero, and Hispanics will be $113 Trillion, what kind of conspiracy BS are you guys watching. * Firstly: The article you sent was from 2017, the average wealth of the Black American family has only been increasing since that 2017... That already debunks the Zero nonsense you've been spilling, but lets continue; * Secondly: The total wealth of South America as a whole, which holds the majority of the Latin America wealth is 4 Trillion GDP, and 8 trillion purchasing power... The U.S goes on about 29 Trillion today; but to you, the total wealth of Hispanics in the U.S will somehow become $113 Trillion by 2050🤦🤦🤦.

Sladem05:I will assume that you're a Nigerian like me. Now lets start with the 2nd because i can't even be bothered with the ignorance of the 1st given that it's a Nigerian saying this nonsense, and i've lived the crime cultism riddled Nigeria... The empty drums will always judge others the loudest. 2: The link you gave was from 2017, the average salary of a Black American family has only increased, being at $57k in 2023, not still as high per demographics, but definitely the opposite of that nonsense you just posted. 3: That is such a stupid take, very stupid take. Why?, because most Nigerians who migrate to the U.S and Canada are literally the cream of the crop, that's why Nigeria has one of the worst braindrains in the world; it's also the same thing with the Asian community... I've literally come across an Indian subReddit discussing this issue from an Indian perspective, the Indian who created it was angry that way more Indians were coming into Canada, and that a lot of the Indians who were now coming in were not the types that came in with seriousness for studying or going into the Workforce anymore... Nigerians and Carribbeans do better than Black Americans on average because alot of the people migrating from those countries are literally some of the best those countries have to offer in terms of Seriousness ethics; this is also why those same countries are said to have a serious Braindrain... The Nigerian Braindrain issue is a very well discussed issue in Nigeria, it's not even hidden anymore. Indians on average do better than Brits. in Britain, yet India is still a SHITHOLE... So will you say that the British would be worse off than India if they had their own country, because that has literally happened. Go and read and understand Brainbrain before you start comparing nonsense. This is the only thing i will say to Nigerians in the U.S diaspora that are feeling all high and mighty over Black Americans; "Just because you're enjoying a Soup that you didn't prepare, doesn't mean you understand what it took to prepare that Soup". |
Sladem05:"The U.S dropped 2 atomic bombs on Japan", true... It is also true that the U.S has heavily financially helped Japan to this day, Japan is still one of the 5 most reliant countries to the U.S until this day. Lets talke about the HISPANICS, this will go a long way because even though the U.S sees it as a racial construct, it's not. There are HISPANICS of Majorly African ethnicity, same with European and Native ethnicity... But let's take your rendition of Hispanics here to mean "Mexicans", the average salary of the U.S-Mexican community was approx. $63k as of 2023, while Black salary was approx. $57k, in fact, the only group you mentioned there that is way off the Black group is the Asian community; and the funny thing is that most Asian Americans today came after the Civil Rights Movement... It's not even news anymore that a lot of Asian immigrants who came during the "70s were given loans to start businesses in Black neighbourhoods, but Black people would be refuse same loans, even the Asians themselves say it; but yet, you think those 3 groups have faced the same level of hate in the U.S, i laugh at your ignorance... You mentioned Indians, most Indians today came after the Civil Rights Movement, and India as a country is literally one of Asia's biggest SHITHOLE, i remember reading an Indian comment when they did the Moon something, the dude was like "We're poor, and this government is focused on spending money in looking like a world powerhouse". Now let's talk about the Hispanic-Segragation which is actually very true, but the difference between the Hispanic-Segragation and Black segregation was that the Hispanic-Segragation wasn't actually part of the Law, it was a mental expectation mainly in South-Western U.S that they were considered Less, not a Lawful one. So while they did face serious discrimination and i'm not denying that (the Mendez school case and the mass repatriation is enough to understand the discrimination the Hispanic community was facing), it still didn't come close to literally infecting people with Syphilis without their knowledge, basically being treated like Animal test subjects without even knowing... Yes Mexicans were lynched during Jim Crow, not as close as the amount of Black people though, but it is still very terrible; but do you know the countless amount of all White Juries that sentenced Black people just because of "Why not". I didn't want to compare what the Latin community faced to what the Black community faced, but your comment left me no choice... Comparing them is like a Nigerian saying what we passed at the hands of colonialism under Nigeria is the same as what the Black South Africans passed at the hands of the Dutch(Afrikaans); any Nigerian who would say that would be extremely delusional. I dislike South Africans based off their rhetorics of Nigeria, but i'm delusional enough to not see when some people have faced through a greater hardship than me. Now, let's talk reparations, we always say Black Americans are entitled for bringing up reparations, Black Americans are this?, and yes, i do think that Black Americans are a bit entitled. I still do think think that a lot of Nigerians are entitled, because we always complain about the government, but a lot of the Citizens also refuse to be upstanding Citizens or even follow paths to help out the Economy... Anyways, back to Black Americans, when you look at some of the Reparation history of the U.S, it is actually a wonder why Black Americans has gotten nothing in terms of Reparations, this i will bring out👇. And to your very first paragraph, i don't know if it was you i said this to before; anyway, it's stupid to say "Your reasoning is like theirs" all High and Mighty when the country you and i come from is literally a SHITHOLE... And no, i don't have a Victim Mentality, because i literally told you in my above comment that Lets stop fleeing from Nigeria and actually create those opportunities for ourselves in Nigeria, not going to already established places like leeches; that's the mentality of a person willing to push his country forward... What i have is a "Understand History in all its form" mentality, and call it as it is; not this rubbish "Oh, forget about it" nonsense. I'm not saying i support certain ways of the Black American community today, but what i won't have is some of my stupid countrymen being so ignorant enough to undermine what they've struggled and done for the U.S, especially for minorities. And worse off, our country is literally an empty drum, yet, you guys are the ones making the loudest noise of judging.

Sladem05:"How well Liberia ended up". FIRSTLY: Not a lot of Black Americans went to Liberia. There was an unrest conflict between the Natives of modern day Liberia and the Black Americans that was sent to Liberia, and that's understandable, because it's surprising one day seeing people being dropped by Ships in your land... The American government had advertised Liberia as this oasis they'd set up for the slaves as a way of "going back to your roots", only for a few Black Americans to reach there and discover that there was already Native tribes living in the region, and the place was basically almost a wilderness... Most Black Americans didn't fall for that nonsense given the heavy racist climate they were living in, and knowing the government was most likely lying. Today, there are just 5% of Liberians who are descended from Black Americans, such a small % in a small populated country that their % is registered among "others" in the country's ethnic Population demography👇... SECONDLY: We are categorically worse than them; 2nd highest poverty rate in the world, one of the crime rates in the world, one of the highest murder rates in the world... We have no moral backbone to talk trash about Black Americans. When Nigeria gained Independence, it was a Nation of an almost all Black people to thrive together. When the U.S gained Independence, Black Americans went from Slaves for 100 years, to Segregated 2nd class citizens for another 100 years; all through this, they managed to fight and create a think skin for not just the Equal Rights footing of Black people in the U.S, but for all Minorities in the U.S... And even after then, the U.S still brought Redlining to majority Black districts were Black districts were disproportionately underfunded. So comparing what Nigerians has done to fight for ourselves doesn't come close to what Black Americans have had to fight for all Minorities in the U.S. Then after they've fought for the equal footing of all, you then have opportunistic idiots in Nigeria who can't even make Nigeria a decent place, undermining and insulting what Black Americans have done in America... The literal reason a lot of Nigerians today can say "I want to Japa to the U.S", and they will be seen with equal rights footing when they reach the U.S, is literally because of the fight for equality Black Americans fought for all minorities.
|
Sladem05:"If all Africans and Carribeans had the same opportunities as African Americans. They will blow them out the water". Then we should stop going there and create the opportunities for ourselves instead of looking for ways to run to the U.S, opportunities don't come out of thin air, it is actually created... We rush there, mooch of their equality struggle for minorities that they fought for culminating in the Civil Rights Movement, and still insult them; while our own Country is a complete and utter mess of a hellhole. You're talking about Opportunities, what's stopping us from creating the opportunities in our own country... We're looking for the already established ones, forgeting that the entire reason that minorities have a sense of equal footing in the U.S is because of the Civil Rights Movement, opportunities that Black Americans spent the better part of a Century fighting for equal rights of all minorities who call themselves an American... Those are opportunities that they fought for, for years; why are rushing there for the opportunities, why are we not also fighting for our opportunities in Nigeria and Africa... Black Americans on any objective scaling have struggled and actually fought for themselves; more than any African can say that they have in Africa, maybe except South Africans They also faced Redlining, loans being given to Asians in the "70s to open businesses in Black neighbourhoods while the same Banks will turn down Black people looking to open businesses... All these happened post the Civil Rights Movement. As Nigerians, we don't have the moral right to talk rubbish about the Black American community, not when we are categorically worse... 2nd highest absolute poverty rate in the world, and that's only because India has like 7× our population; one of the highest crime rates in the world, and we are the ones associating Black Americans as Criminals🤦🤦🤦, we are so crime riddled in Nigeria that there is like a Police checkpoint every kilometre; we are literally seen as one of the Scam capitals in the world... We are getting bans left and right from other countries due to fradulent activities. Before you talk rubbish about another person's house, check to see first if your own is like a dustbin... Ours is worse than a dustbin, it's a whole landfill. |
Sladem05:Are you comparing the Windrush scandal of 2018, of people who couldn't make it in their our country running to Europe, to what Black Americans has passed through?. * Black Wall Street * The majority Black lynchings * The KKK. * The all White Juries. * The community that was eradicated for the NY Central Park, and non of them was compensated, because according to the Newspaper back then, they were just "Niggas" * The fact that they couldn't even stand their ground against a White man without getting beaten even if they were Right; And so much more. And all these i just mentioned was happening during Jim Crow, worst even happened during Slavery, after our own ancestors sold them into slavery. You do know that if you're a minority immigrant in the U.S, you own your feel of an equal right footing to the Civil Rights Movement, a movement that was the culmination of a century of equality push by Black Americans... But yet you run away from our dilapidating country to places like the U.S, mooch off another person's struggle for equality, and then insult that person; all these while our own country is a crap hellhole that we can't fix, that is basically an hypocrite feeling all high and mighty. |
Kenn55:Japan was actively helped by the U.S after WW2, until this day, they're still among the Top 5 most reliant country on the U.S... The U.S literally pumped finances into Japan after WW2, why do you think Japan and South Korea are called the U.S puppet by people like the Europeaans?. |
2buffagain:I swear, as a Nigerian, Nigerians are really extremely ignorant... I'm not making excuses for the dissarray of the Black American community, but for Nigerians here to undermine what they've done for minorities being able to live in the U.S in as equal footings as possible is just so stupid and ignorant; especially when our country is the way it is today. We run there, and then narrow-mindedly insult the group that majorly gave minorities as much as an equal footing as possible... Majority of the Asian and Latin population who call themselves Americans today rushed in after the Civil Rights Movement from their dilapidating countries after they saw that the coast had been cleared by the Black American community. Same thing with Africans. It's not even just Black Americans, i once saw a Nigerian insulting Haiti; and i asked the individual, do you know what France did to Haiti for 100+ years after their Independence, he said no. And i then explained to him how Haiti was forced to pay yearly Reparations from their Economic revenue for freeing themselves from the French; and how this greatly helped improved the French economy that was in Shambles after Napoleon for more than 100 years, and crippled any chances of the Haitian economy leaving the ground for 100+ years. What this Nigerian said to me was "And so?"... Just imagine Nigeria being told to pay like 50% of our yearly Economic Revenue to Britain for the next 100+ years, we will completely die as a Nation; and yet, a Nigerian had the guts to ignorantly say "And so?"... We Black people are each other's biggest enemies, and a lot of it falls down to a lot of Black people's propensity to kiss the White Man's feet, and thus view history, our own terrible recent history, from the White man's lens. Nigerians can't keep our country running, a lot of us rush to the U.S for greener pastures; we mooch off another person's century long struggles, and still have the guts to insult the person, especially when our own Country is as crap as it is... What kind of hypocritical high and mighty nonsense is that?. It's so easy to talk negatively about other people, when we've not experienced what they've experienced... But i would think that of all groups, we will be the ones even more understanding than others, given all the rubbish that's going on in Africa; like the Ghana-EU cocoa issue that just came to light recently, were Ghana and Ivory-coast were literally making 80% of the world's cocoa, but only getting 6% of the profits. |
Sladem05:It's so funny when i see my fellow Nigerians say this about Black Americans, it just shows the ignorance a lot of Nigerians hold. Historically, lets start with when the U.S gained Independence in 1776; Chattel Slavery (1776-1864), a lot of rich white familes especially in the South are generational rich because of Slavery in the South. The revolutionary war was fought so hard by the confederates because they knew the monetary value of the slaves they kept. When Black Americans say the slaves were the Back bone of the U.S, especially the South, this is what they mean... It's just like how South African apartheid used Black people to mine Diamonds and other resources but the profits of it after being processed and sold never went back into the Black neighborhoods; the fact that the main originator of what made the White neighbourhoods of South Africa wealthy came from Black labour, means that Black South Africans were the actual Backbone of Apartheid South Africa. Anyway, Post-Slavery: Segregation Era(Jim Crow) (1864-The 1960s), The "Equal" but different period. Black wall street... Almost all Jobs going to Whites... The KKK... The majority Black Lynchings... The all white racist Juries... Black people being relegated to attending very few schools that was always underfunded... The Tuskegee Experiment... The so much as standing up for yourself to a white person got you beaten by a Police officer, even if the White person was objectively in the wrong. And so much more. Post Civil Rights Movement that Gave "Freedom" to All minorities who call themselves an American (1960s-Now). Redlining... Asians rushing from their dilapidated countries to the U.S in the 70s after they saw that the coast had been cleared by the Civil Rights Movement; why do i bring this up?, read about how Banks purposely gave those Asians loans in the "70s to start businesses in Black majority neighborhoods, but would refuse to give a Black American... Anyway, disproportionately funded Black districts. When almost all corners has been disproportionately blocked from you from the start even up late-90s, you turn to the very few things that makes you think you can beat the system, which is usually Crime. We see in Nigeria everyday, and Nigeria is a f*cking almost entirely all Black society... I'm not making excuses for the disarray the Black American community is today, but to look at it from a very narrow lens , especially coming from an African, a Nigerian whose own country is in the state it is today, is one of the most ignorant things i've ever seen. The reason you were able to leave our dilapidating country to the U.S and see a more equal world today there, is because of the struggles Black Americans went through. The fact that you ran away from the dilapitating Nigeria to seek greener pastures in a country with a more equal footing, while insulting the literal community whose fight has continuously pushed for that equal footing for minorities, makes you an hypocrite... You can't be boldly narrow-minded, insulting, and ignorant to another mans house while your own house is literally a dumbster. Nigerians like you who make these all and mighty "We're better" comments about Black Americans really shock me; have you seen Nigeria?... If you really want to prove that Africans are better, leave the U.S that you're moosing off the equality that Black Americans fought for, and come and be one lf the people fixing Nigeria. No Nigerian has fought one fight for equality the level of which Black Americans did, and yet, you're being all high and mighty insulting them. The Asians and Latinos you're saying are building the U.S, why didn't they rush to the U.S during the Jim Crow era, let them face the negativity of Minorities in that era... The very few who was there back then understand this too well; read about the deportation of Latinos in the 1930s... Most of the Asian and Latino population only came to the U.S after the Civil Rights Movement, why did they not rush to the country as minorities before it; same thing with Africans... You mooch off another person's century long struggles, and still have the guts to insult the person, especially when our own Country is as crap as it is; what kind of hypocritical high and mighty nonsense is that?. It's so easy to talk negatively about other people, when you've not experienced what they've experienced... But i would think that of all groups, Nigerians will be the ones even more understanding than others, given all the rubbish that's going on in Africa; like the Ghana-EU cocoa issue that just came to light recently, were Ghana and Ivory-coast are literally making 80% of the world's cocoa, but only getting 6% of the profits. Don't be whitewashed, broaden your view for once and think. |
Akfrenzy:Trump make e don already set him all White crew, including the Deportation team down... One of the black GOP member make e dey close to ham con dey do somehow say no black person even dey him crew make e dey set at all. For my mind, i just laugh say no be you be person of colour make e no understand watin DEI mean and why e actually dey help systemically prejudice minority communities. E get one comment make i read from one MAGA supporter after the Racist Nazi march on Colombus Ohio a few days ago, make i just show the comment... Also Racist comments and just blatant racism don dey become more pronounced since the Election. Some Black people actually voted for the party make like 90% of all hardcore racists like the KKK dey support; and dem think say with Trump's extremism campaign, some of those bigoted people no go creep enter places like House of Congress, Senate or Reps.🤦🤦🤦. The One make e piss me off pass na say Nigerians for Nigeria actually dey support the Right Wing party in a country make they no even know or understand the history of... I hate to use this term, but a lot of Nigerians are very ignorant on both the history and the present situation of other countries once it doesn't concern Nigeria.

rollywise:LGBTQ that he will not still end, the only thing he said about LGBTQ is that he will stop all the gender pronouns circulating around, and it will just be He/Him and She/Her, and that Trans. can't play in the opposite sport; which are two valid things that i even understand... He is not changing anything in the LGBTQ community outside of those two. As for the Israel situation, the Biden administration has literally been supporting Israel in financing; In fact, the Biden administration still financing Israel has been a problem between the Biden administration and the supporters of the Democrats... So i don't even understand were Nigerians support on that is coming from, Trump on the International front has been campaigning about reducing the U.S involvement in the conflict of other countries; if he acts on that which i doubt he will to be honest, because the U.S government not instigating their mouths in the conflict of other countries is like a Bee not making honey. The U.S government is that obsessed with instigation Anyway, if he does act on it, that will actually be detrimental to Israel and give room for other Muslim countries to act on what's currently happening to the Palestinians... Given that i've never supported the Israeli attack on Palestinians, maybe he should act on it. |
AntiZikist:Yea, like they're going to start asking everyone "What's your political spectrum views"... Let's see, it's like we forget easily the heavy Visa restrictions he imposed on majority Non-White countries in his first term, in an effort to clearly appeal to Right Wing Nationalists. I've never known the Right Wing to play favouritism based purely off Political views, the same political side were a Lady said that she can't support an Indian politician to be President even though she does agree with most of his political views... It will be so funny when immigrants of all types start hearing it hot; like i said, i don't think i have any issues, so i will just be watching from the sidelines. |
AntiZikist:Non of his campaign policies says deport some illegals and leave some... I'm not even against his deportation of illegal migrant campaign, but a lot more will be deported outside of just illegals; in fact, i won't be surprised if the Latin community gets favoured more than the Asian and especially African community because it's the f*cking Right Wing, and if Far-Right politicians starts getting involved, definitely know that it will become a racially biased affair. I actually thought that the denaturalization project was long dead until someone brought it up on Nairaland, and i had to go confirm. |
To my fellow U.S naturalized Nigerians, hope non of you guys had any discrepancies before attaining your citizenship, like hope you guys didn't overstay your visa and later got Citizenship, or got into the country through a tourist visa and just overstayed without actually getting an immigration visa; because those are the type of discrepancies the Denaturalization Project will be looking for. I've seen some people in the Latin community talking since Stephen Miller made his tweet because a lot of the Latin community citizens were either once illegals through the land border, or were illegals after overstaying their Visa; to think that a lot of them actually voted for him... Me personally, i don't think i have any issues; i definitely wasn't even thinking of voting for him because i can't vote for a Party were almost all the Racist groups in the country leans towards. Matt Walsh talks about Project 2025, y'all really thought that it was a media propaganda, alright.

Eriokanmi:So i saw your comment in another forum talking about this mass deportation, and how someone you know who got their Citizenship after overstaying past their Visiting-Visa limit. My question to you is that, Hope you didn't get into the U.S through a visiting visa and just overstayed, because that automatically makes you an illegal; a visiting Visa is not an immigration visa, and that individual is expected to leave the country before or during when it ends, except they found a way to gain an Immigration Visa before the Visiting Visa ends. And even if you somehow manage to stay long enough to get a Citizenship, discrepancies like that is what Trump's Denationalisation project will be looking for to strip naturalized Citizens off their Citizenship and deport them... Because someone got on a plane to the U.S, passed through the Airport into the country, doesn't automatically make that person a Legal. And how do you know someone is not educated when you can't even understand them, a lack of communication is not a basis to determine someone's academic prowess... And you said French most likely from North and East Africa, that means they most likely passed through an Airport to get to the United States; i think my 2nd Paragraph already explains this scenario and the different possibilities. And i don't think you understand what that guy meant by gender switching, what Trump said he was going to stop the multiple genders, and make Trans athletes stop playing in the opposite sports... Notice that statement, "Stop playing in the opposite sports", that means people can still have a sex change, and all the other stuffs involved in the LGBTQ world, why?, because there are literally LGBTQ people who support Trump especially because of his stance on immigration; they just can't: 1) Transpeople can't play in the sport of the gender they identify as, so Transwomen can't play in womens sports, and same with Transmen 2) The genders will just become He/She again, a trans can still change from a He to a She. |
cococandy:I don't really think Nigerians understand the party they claim to support... The Conservative party is in no small way the den of American racists. This is a party that groups like the KKK, Aryan Nation, the Biker gangs align with, that's why these groups are called the "Far Right" groups, which basically means an extremist version of the Right Wing. Before the 2020 Election, Trump tried to please Racist Nationalist groups by restricting Visa regulations in majority Non-White countries, Nigeria was among those countries. When visas was restricted in 2019, Nigerians didn't even know the reason why it was done🤦🤦🤦... A lot of Nigerians really do not know the racial history of the U.S, and how the term Conservative, especially Far-Right Conservatism has become synonymous with Racism. I've always believed in don't mix Religion with Politics, because Politics is not and should never be a sentimental affair, but this is a rhetoric that a lot of Nigerians can never understand because i've seen so many Nigerians that support Trump mainly from a religious standpoint... In my head, i just think, a lot of KKK members are some of the most Christian community people you'd ever meet, but go to their door as a people of colour and see how you'd be treated. The funny thing is i personally even do side with a few of Trump's policies, like the deportation of illegal immigrants. For example, i've always seen Africans using boats to dangerously cross the Mediterranean sea as very degrading; so i've always had this sense of if you can't migrate to a country through the right paths, then don't migrate... But the fact remains that given how basically all racists in the U.S aligns themselves with the Conservative party, and the fact that Trump is trying to lean into pleasing those groups, the chances of such projects not being racially biased will be almost 0%. This potential denaturalization project just feels totally intent on being very racially motivated and biased... Denaturalization project🤦🤦🤦, that's just funny, because outside of the Natives, basically everyone is a relatively recent immigrant on the American soil. The original colonies like the Mayflower didn't even need to be legal, they just lied to the Natives through treaties, get the Natives to help them acclimate to the then "New World" by teaching them stuffs like farming, which led to the first Thanksgiving; then after issues started arising between both groups due to the colony always overstepping, they just slaughtered most of the Natives and took over. |
