₦airaland Forum

It’s crazy what this country has become, I don’t even want to blame the poster for the price tag cos they’re probably factoring in import prices - fair enough.

But it’s really hard to see anyone dropping 4m for a discussion continues in 2024.

Tough time to do business man. Good luck to everyone.

It’s the drowning naira. Cars are now becoming assets that appreciate in value like land. Bought my car early last year and I’m fairly confident I can make 500k-1m gain if I wanna sell it right now. It’s crazy.

cjswitch:
Same reason someone else will pay if you can't afford it

It’s not about affordability. No reasonable person is paying a mil for that.

What do you mean by “slightly faulty engine”? 🤔

JustSprung:
They do look nice, better than RAV-4 of the same year but sheesh, way out of budget

Wow! Didn’t know prices have gone up this high. Go for your Mdx then. You’ll enjoy it.

ehmmy11:
So you don’t have family members? Church or mosque members?

It’s on nairaland that someone will buy engine of almost 1m for you ?

You even have the guts to say you will pay back as soon as you hit the road, lol same Nigerians that take loans of 10k and never want to pay back ?
Since you have been working on the road why can’t you afford to fix it, the answer to that is what you are looking for
These jokes write themselves

Believe it or not there are people that do not have family members/friends they can realistically call for help. Neither do they belong to any societies like churches or mosques. I know this because I’ve seen people who are rawdogging this world alone.

Yeah, loaning strangers is tricky business but perhaps this is his last resort and I think it’s worth the shot - someone already asked for his number. Let’s not be too hasty in judging people’s intentions please.

Solid car, driven a friend’s own a few times. Only concern is its fuel consumption but I think you’ll be fine.

PS: I agree with you on the gear shifters of the 2006 and below CR-Vs. But the look and placement of the shifter gets better from 2007.

I think you should seriously consider the 2013/2014 CR-V. They’ve got great handling and are more fuel efficient.

Jaboyka:
Are you sure this car will not continue to be available bayi!

Can’t blame him really. The cost of clearing a car now is ridiculous. This country is in a continuous nosedive, there’s no saving it.

Toks or naija used?

It’s the fact that you repeatedly called it clean na him dey vex me.

dicksonadams:
what can I budget for a good one like yours

For a naija used one, I’d say from 3-3.5m. Depends on the seller and condition of the vehicle.

Honda

dicksonadams:
which one did you buy

CR-V 2010. Loving it so far, can’t complain at all.

4 million for a naija used 2005 corolla? It’s well.

NCBLOG:
See More Bad News @ www.. com

See more bad news 😳? I rebuke you and your blog.

Lol 3.7m for a 2005 registered Corolla? You are not ready.

alaricsaltzman:
Now you know

😂
I hope op bought the crv sha.

ttobizz:
2.6m!
Something is telling me you are too attached to this car

He’s so reluctant to let it go he put a ridiculous price tag 😂

It’s a clean car I’ll give him that, but 2.6?

850k

.

3.2?

This man has no fear of God.

Post the pictures here

300K, wow!!! Wonder how much this will cost in today's market.

ClitRaider:
2010 CRV receives a minor facelift, along with a host of other improvements, that make it a bit more appealing to the eyes.
a new two-bar chrome grille, a more cohesive front-bumper design, a new 10-spoke design for the 17-inch alloy wheels and a better engine.

Thank you.

kingreign:
Give yourself brains and avoid palava by avoiding that sonata. The engine is plagued with a factory error of piston slap and overtime will damage the engine. Engine prices range from 1.2-1.8m

Thanks boss, if I could just quiz you a little bit more, the crv 10 or is250 07/08?

Will appreciate more contributions please 🙏🏽

ClitRaider:
I won't deny the fact that Sonata 2014 is in a Class of its own..
The car sweet die, the car is for Executives, CEOs, and Oga at the Tops.

But if I were you, I will go for that Honda 2010, ignore the 08 and 09 models plss.

Because of;

1. Cheap Cost of maintenance
2. Better Resale value
3. Ruggedity
4. Multi-purpose usage.
5. Ground Clearance
6. Luxury
7. Everlasting Engine life.

By 2033, That Crv will still be running but Sonata?! eh??!!

Please why did you say to ignore the 08-09 crv models?

Pakwel:
Buy your honda and grow with it. If you are married madam can use it to learn too . If you ain't, it's a good start up car.

Thanks man.

Hello auto gurus. I’m about to get my first car and I’m torn between the Crv 08-10 and Sonata 12-14.

I like the higher ground clearance the crv offers but I also like sleek body of the sonata. However, I’m not an expert on engines, parts, fuel economy or the other factors people usually put into consideration when buying cars.

I’ve done some research and I think the general opinion is that both are pretty decent cars but I’ll like your opinions on which one edges the other and why. Both are also within my budget by the way so price isn’t a factor. Thanks.

PowerDeals:
Bro, so this car is still available since about a year now.
I offered you 1.5m then but you said it can't fly.
Well, happy sales bro

Why are you Nigerians like this? The fact that he hasn’t sold it means he’s not willing to accept an amount he believes is less than the worth of the car. Not everyone is desperate for money, carry your 1.5m and go and buy camry pencil light.

3.2m let’s deal asap
