Tvegas: No be me talk am this time ooo... I will frame this post for CONTINOUS FUTURE reference. No matter the order of Runge Kutta deployed in data crunching, IF ANYBODY, I repeat, ANYBODY INCLUDING MYSELF give you an extrapolation in an imaginary time dormain, FLEE and make sure you flee VERY FAR... Why? You can't enter a BROKEN DOWN MOLUE at Ojota because the driver has promised you it must reach SOKOTO. Then, after ALL other passengers in other buses have done like 5 trips to SOKOTO and back, your driver end up reaching SOKOTO in THE FUTURE, and start boasting he told you that you will reach SOKOTO.... When you are at the bus stop, inspect the vehicle very very well, call the mechanics aside, buy them better Isiewu with GUINNESS EXTRA SMOOTH and whisper in their ears, IS THAT ENGINE SOUND? You may be surprised to hear that the mechanic is waiting for the arrival of the vehicle's top gasket.... 12 Likes

GUINNESS NIGERIA PLC Poor operating performance; downgrade to Sell In its recently released 9M 2020 results, Guinness Nigeria (Guinness) reported a 5.3% y/y decline in Revenue to N96.0bn from N101.4bn in 9M 2019. On q/q basis, Revenue d eclined 33.2% to N27.7bn in Q3 2020 (Jan - Mar 2020) from N41.4bn in Q2 2020. Pressured by higher excise as well as closure of on-trade channels in the final week of the quarter, the compans performance in Q3 2020 (historically one of the best quarters for Guinness) was weak with Q3 2020 Revenue and Net Income declining 17.6% and 97.2% respectively when compared with Q3 2019. We cut our Revenue forecast for the rest of the year as on-trade channels remained shut for the first 5 weeks of Q4 2020 (Apr - Jun 2020) while ceremonial activities remain banned in many states in the country. Furthermore, while we expect lower barley price would provide some support to Gross Profit, we expect Opex and Finance cost to remain significant pressure points in Q4. We forecast a loss in the final quarter of the year which would pressure FY 2020e Net Income lower. We cut our target price for Guinness Nigeria to N15.08/s from N32.12/s previousl y which implies a 21.5% downside to Wednesdays closing price of N19.20/s. Thus, we downgrade our recommendation to a SELL from HOLD. We have revised down our profit lines steeply and lower pricing multiples in our relative valuation models given the companys poor operating performance relative to peers. We arrive at our target price using a combination of the single stage FCFF model and Relative valuation in the ratio 60:40 with the greater weighting on the FCFF methodology. COPIED/CSL. 2 Likes |

I don't do stock recommendations, but if I recommend any stock and it rises by 50% after two years, consider it a bad recommendation.... If you can recommend a maximum of five stocks and four EXCLUSIVELY do 50% within 3-6 months, it's a hit. If I recommend the entire index e.g 10 stocks) ,... , and they do 50% after 2yrs, it's a VERY BAD CALL.... Beware of recommendations that almost reflect the entire index... Peterichy, (2.70 - 2.40)/2.7 expressed as a percentage has which ticker? At which price are bargain hunters to strike? I have (2.47 - 2.4)/2.47 expressed in percentage as my savings from yesterday. Tomorrow is another day.... 3 Likes

When market starts misbehaving, Mcy56 will only be reporting Total bids and Total offers. Your 10m units of Wapic on offer will be viewed as HEAVY OFFER, Bidders will hurriedly cancel their bids, even though Mcy56 herself will be in a position to forgo her breakfast and clear it. I watched this scenario severally in AIICO before, common 5m offers at 75Kobo were seen as HUGE OFFERS. No one bothered to check the price. Buyers just equate DANGCEM with AIICO in their brains and you are OYO.. This is what illiquid stocks do to people who take things for granted during Burundi bulls... 1 Like |

In the stock market, the greatest sin that can't be forgiven is not that of a wrong entry or exit point, but the sin of squeezing yourself into ILLIQUIDITY! When the disjointly staggered clusters of bids suddenly run dry for weeks on end, you understand the very deep pains of a frail old man that paid the handsome bride price for a virgin.... 6 Likes 1 Share

gabscity: Better late than never. I love his honesty by saying he has taken position. It's like begging a woman. Most people feel it's a sign of weakness. But It's actually a sign you want to complete the days allocated to you on Earth, ask VCV for clarification. VCV will let you understand that even the holy book knows the extent of the fury of our ribs. A woman once eliminated an entire family of four including herself to punish her husband for cheating on her. He did not touch the man physically, not that she was not capable. 2 Likes
