How is our November mama's doing? We should be In our 14th, 13th, 12th and 11th weeks already, some of us should even be in their early 15th week.... I pray the Lord shall make it easy for us in Jesus name, none shall be missing in our camp....Mother alive, baby bouncing, more money in hubby Aza will be our testimonies....

hi dear glad, the cause has been identified. With good management of the underlying cause, things would likely go back to normal after a while say like a month or more. Discuss with your doc if you can be placed on vitamin supplements. For the discomfort, you could discuss with your doc on patching the droopy eye. Best regards

thanks Doc!! I was given Neurobion as vitamin supplement. I will use handkerchief to patch it till my next appointment.

hello Doc,
I went to see optometrist on Monday he reffered to State hospital to see an opthalmologist. my eyes were checked, IOP is 10 and 12. back of my eyes was checked and nothing strange came up.
so they dig into medical record. I have history of thyroid diseases and High bp

I was sent to see an endocrinologist but none available till next Monday. so on my I went to meet the doctor that treated me for thyroid and bp and immediately he saw me, checked bp and for thyroid symptoms and he agreed that my bp is high with pulse, thyroid is back. he quickly wrote prescription of cabiriod, propanolol, and neurobion. he said the bp droppedy eyelid.

my problem now is the discomfort the drooping eyelid is giving me. I hope it won't affect the second eye. and what are my chances right now. I am emotionally down and bp keep rising.

well since u hv checked ur bp nd blood sugar just 2 weeks back nd the result were ok, that's fine. What effect after the ice test did u notice ?

the heaviness I feel reduced. the eyes opened just a bit more. I can even rest my head on the bed now. no headaches but I feel worried, restless and hoping tomorrow can come fast. just pray it does not get worst before then

the 2 eyes scratches me and can't look at light or stay under the sun

if I cover the other eye with my palm, The eye opens wider.

hi dear, this isn't having to do with eye pressure. Do u experience muscle weakness?, double vision? I'll recommend u checking ur bp and going for a blood sugar check ASAP. Also there might be need to do a CT scan . Get an ice pack and place on ur eye that is closing for 5min and tell me if it opens wider than how it used to be. U'll be needing to Go back to your doctor ASAP and inform him /her of the latest development

I have called him
he said I should come 9am tomorrow. I don't have double vision, just blurred vision and objects seems closer than usual. I have tried the ice pack on the eyes, just little effect. the heaviness seems liighter
when I called the doctor, he asked if it was red which it isn't. No serious headache. can I check sugar level now as I have eaten breakfast though i checked both sugar and bp 2weeks ago and they were normal

no muscle pain, I just find it difficult to sleep at nights cos I keep thinking of the eyes and its making me restless.

so sorry desaie. Do not feel depressed already. It's just a challenge and i'm hopeful u'll get through with it. I'll really need a lot of info to put things together to possibly know what might be the issue with your eyes. Your doc is a professional and i respect his/her opinion but if you are having the finance to seek a second opinion elsewhere, u should give it a try and see if their opinion tallys with that of your doc. Stay strong, u 'll pull through this. Best wishes

Last week Friday I took the step for another opinion. meanwhile I stopped taking the eye drop and drug on Wednesday to clear out of my system.
the Optometrist I saw on Friday did eye pressure test, he got 17 and 18 for the 2 eyes and said it is normal but he said we have to bear in mind that I was taking drop till Wednesday and the day was Friday. he told me to come back on Thursday for a new eye pressure test. he said the cup size is within normal and not enough to diagnose glaucoma but he said we should chill till Thursday. so I have stop taking drugs and eye drop since Wednesday, just PCM for pain. the doctor even said my vision is 100% there which I confirmed. just the blurriness and slight headache sometimes.

but within yesterday and today, one eye started closing compare to the other. attached is the picture. not painful but the discomfort is too much. I am beginning to develop fever.

what was your iop reading ? How old re you? does the blurryness improve at any point in time ? Well , glaucoma drugs doesnt restore vision , it can only help u to preserve what's left

I am 29years old. I did eye pressure test yestersay, it was reading 14 and 12 for the two eyes. I already started using accetazolamide (zolamox) and slow k with pain relieve. I got relieved a bit on Saturday but by Sunday I was back to square.

the doctor said I should continue the drugs and he changed my drop to just timolol but still feeling same way. All blurry. he said blurriness ought to have gone by now. he said if there is no improvement for the next 1week, I might go for CT scan. I am depressed with all of this.


the funny thing is I can see well, I can read also no matter how small. the blurred vision is giving issues. like the eyes are heavy, if I step out in the sun, it worsens.

I was recently diagnose of glaucoma after complaining of blurry vision. was giving drop combo of dorzolamide and timolol. the issue now is that instead of the blurry vision to clear as said by the doctor I saw, the blurriness is increasing with pains in my head and at the back of my head. he said it is the side effect of the drop and should clear off but I am not feeling any better. what do I do please. I don't want to loose my sight.
