You dey mind these clowns 😅😅
Nigerian govt did not tell us at what rate the swap is fixed and between what periods.

Defaulting results in what?

People read currency swap and jumped in without knowing the abc behind currency swap.

Chinese are big business man in Nigeria they need to spend naira in Nigeria, common sense you no get
China business in Nigeria does not reach for currency swap.

Buhari started this nonsense. Nigerian didn't feel it. They repeatedly asked how far with the swap,no answer till he left office.
Tinubu has continued from where he stopped.
This might be the last we hear of this again

30% of Nigeria's imports are from china. Most of these payments are settled in dollars. Imagine if almost of of these bypass the dollar and the naira to dollar strain that will be reduced. That way will let the dollar rate fall.

In addition, Nigeria will be the clearing house for Africa - China meaning that the position the dollar currently holds is the same position the naira will now hold as an intermediary currency. This will raise the value of the naira.

With other African countries having lesser demand on the dollar, it will fall drastically.

Politically, BRICKS will cash in on this leading to further dollar fall. I could almost say Nigeria might lead to the downfall of the united states.

The yuan swap deal was initiated some years ago but Nigeria later halted its part probably due to pressure from the US.

In short, delaying it meant the citizens of Nigeria had to bear the weight that kept the US economy.

Now, that will change or it might also be another gra gra just to get a Nigeria - US pressure on something we've been asking united states for and later cut it again.

However, knowing our president likes to make money flow in, this one might come to fruition.
Then who collects the ailing naira from China?

As the president of the country, he is responsible for everything. If that's the angle you are coming from, then he is responsible. That been said, no death would have happened if these events were properly organised and if the attendees were not unruly. Now I don't think the organisers needed Tinubu to organise it for them.
But from what I read, the organisers of these events in the 3 diff areas have been doing that for long. Why now?
Simple. So much hunger in the land.
Nigerians are very hungry and extremely poor.
Forget the political circle.
Thanks to diasporians who remains to their people. And few who earn in dollars from social media and whatever. If this continues, we will hear that p3ople are becoming carnivores.

Interestingly, Nigel Farage is advocating for a lot of the above particularly the part privatisation of the NHS similar to most of Europe. He's currently riding high in the polls so it is not entirely inconceivable that some of these ideas might become official policies in the next decade.
We all know at a point, NHS will go into full privatisation.

Oh my god shocked
So sorry to hear this.

Do you know some D drugs can cause diarrhea?

T2 can be managed with diet.
My late FIL had it for 15 years and laid off meds by his doc when he was in my house when I was still in Nigeria. It took me lots of research and resilience( he is somebody who controls, now small me was telling him what to eat)
He was with me for 4 months and gradually stopped taking his medication.
He died cos I got preggy and couldn't enter kitchen so he had to stay with his son and then the son had a fiance. The lady want to win over the man so she forgot to follow his nutritional plan and will make all those food he stopped taking. By the time I got myself and went to get him, it was too late. 3 days after he died. Checked the fridge and tears rolled down. The Dr rang me twice and told me to continue giving him what I am giving him.

If an old man T2 can be reversed, give yourself some months of strictness and you will see some results.

Go to youtube and type DR Eric Berg diabetes.
Start from the beginning.
Get a book.
I recommended this man cos he is the best among others and the comment section will give you what you need.

Also. From what I used for my FIL, you see that afang leave, utazi and bitterleave. They should be your veggies.
You wash and blend them, drink with water.
Check out the health benefits of those veggies.

Learn how to make saucruest.

Less starchy food, forget fruits( all fruits in Nigeria has loads of sugar) we assume fruits are really healthy and eat them anyhow.

By the time you have gone halfway and seen the result, you can introduce intermittent fasting gradually.

Just start somewhere pls.

A colleague is placed on one med so she will not feel hungry most time.

I really want to know and see if I can be of any help to you. Just a dead thread, then delete it. Just like b4 pls.
Or let me break it down.
Is it something that's incurable
Does it disrupt your movement.
Are you in pain constantly etc.

Have you been to the hospital and what did the Dr and làb result say. Stuffs like that.

HMRC took £450 out of my pay last month. It's damn bloody. I no fit cry.
HMRC will write and refund you if they overcharge you by the end of the fiscal yr March.

HMRC has refunded me about more than 700 quids on 2 occasions.

Depending on where you work, they will also refund you if you are overtaxed. I work for the govt and in my first yr was refunded above 2k cos the wrong tax code was used initially by my manager and later rectified. Those months I was overcharged, was returned with apology letter.

Oh I see. I’ve sometimes used rice wine vinegar or mirin for cooking. Not drinking. Mirin’s actually a tad bit sweet. I don’t think it’ll taste the same as makgoeli.

Unless you’re referring to saké? Which I’ve had probably not more than 2-3x. It’s okay. Not terrible.
Mirin and sake are Japanese. There are ones for cooking and drinking.
Makgoeli is korean rice wine for drinking only. I only have mirin and sake for cooking.

Makgoeli is enjoyed with small bowls as cup. If you are a fan of kdrama, you will recognise it immediately I mentioned the name. Aside soju, that the most popular wine in south Korea.

I may have mistaken.

It tastes awful but some who love stuffs like that may love it.

So cos they don't have shop, they shouldn't pay tax?
For someone selling one basket at 32. If he sells 10 baskets in a day, that is 320000, and you don't want to pay tax
Have you been to that place before or are you just yapping?

Even buyers don't have anywhere to sit.
You pay tax and you should see your money being used for your own good.
If it's raining, market is closed.
The same with fruit market nasarawa.

Why didn't you ask before buying orthopedic? Now you've spent good money on what you aren't enjoying. Orthopedic beds should be recommended by a doctor but Nigerians just buy things for the sake of it.

These days, hybrid is the deal.
