All that chilli no dey affect your belle? Your toilet go don hear ween after all the eruption wey you don subject am to 🤢
There are different types of chilli in this world.
Some are mild, some are hot, some are super hot.
Nigeria use the hot to super hot types.
So you look at chilli from the naija perspective.

Eg korean hot pepper flakes is not as spicy as ordinary ginger if i use itbut to the Koreans, it's hot. Even if I put 3 full spoons, it's just for colour as I will not feel the bang. But in the same food 1 scotch bonnet can make me look for water as the scotch bonnet here is hotter than the one at home. The same with habenero( yellow pepper)

The hot chilli there can last for one year. Just scoop small teaspoon. There are some pepper I cut big deliberately and use as veggie. Some are not even spicy at all. We just use them cos of vit c.

Not everyone you see on nairaland is as poor as you .... Don't use your mouth chase away your destiny helper.... Meanwhile let me see the one you built , if U can't show it just shamelessly how Ur head in shame , because u have failed ur poor parents
Apology if you have passed 30yrs.

If you are above 30, then let your utterances online reflect on your age. You still talk like a 16yrs old with bundled up frustrations.

As for the rubbish up there, maybe you may be my destiny helper.
Should I contact you for help then sir?

Beautiful and I am sure delicious too.

How peppery is your jollof on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being extremely hot?
Was told my dad has chilli he chew as he eats.
Wtf.
I think I have his reincarnation in my house. Spicy chilli is endangered spice in my kitchen. I mean,I will combine the spicest of them all and the day I want to use it, jar is empty.

I love hot chilli especially in this season. Has been raining cat and dog here since 2 weeks. Hospitals are filled with covid breakout.

Why are you shifting the goal post away from your comment that I replied to huh

I showed you that China imports food, and can import food from Lagos/Nigeria as well.
And you want to export foodstuffs to China. You that is import dependant.

And yes, I know China import food but that does not stop them from being the world's number one food exporter, sometimes alternating with us.

What will lagos state government export to China.
Baseless argument you lots love to indulge in.

Common exporting food that will cater for Nigerians in diaspora, una no fit do. Thanks to Ghana and some other countries that feed Nigerian diasporians that crave home food. Na China una wan go.
Na the same lagos state that said they have started rice farming few yrs ago. We know how it ended.
Abeg shift as you make no sense.

Since I'm babbling, do tell me what lagos state government will export to China as food that they produce?
Since you don't know that this is a smokescreen, you my dear is the one blabbing. You know nothing about government modus operandi in Nigeria.

Lazy youths everywhere.

A guy of less than 30 yrs don't have any business engaging in social media unless you have an early start in life. Strat shows we are leading in social media engagement. China pass us cos of the population.
Even India is behind Nigeria.

When I was In the uni, I don't do social media.
Till date, I don't have Facebook and what have you.
Recently created X account and read some news that pop on my screen every now and then. I come to nairaland cos I miss Nigeria. And at this stage of my life, I have nothing to lose if I stay here 24hrs a day which is impossible anyway. What I am trying to say is, you waste valuable hours on social media whi h you will never get back again.
Time waits for no one. You look back and shake your head.

Apart from the elites among them,no-one.

Can you guys rest please.
Sons demolishing their fathers properties and building theirs instead of renovating it in igboland is actually very bad.
Go to anywhere in the world, old houses are renovated.
In uk especially, it's maintenance that's the issue, cos you will see houses of 100yrs. A hospital I did my placement in one time is 103yrs and still standing. Let this shaming stop. It does not make you smarter and wiser.

Even if you get money pass, and so what. Go to the north and see old houses. Go to south south and see old houses.
We keep on taunting them and when they start, we will start crying. If we think we are smarter and wiser, we should show that in our interactions here.
Sick and tired of this.
Even you. Shocking as you are meant to be above this childish nonsense that has been ongoing here for years.

I juice it sometimes with pineapple, apple and watermelon with lots of ginger( use ginger powder)

Different rice for different dishes for me. I don’t particularly have favorites as I find using the right/wrong rice will affect the result.

Jasmine for Asian fried rice dishes
Parboiled rice for Nigerian fried & jollof rice
Basmati for tomato stew. Also good Nigerian jollof
Sticky rice for sushi bakes, rice bowls or similar dishes
Long grain for pilaf and also tomato stew.
I go visit you for dream one day grin
I don see who pass me for rice grin

Hi rice lovers, what variety/ies of rice do you love best?

I love broken jasmine rice a lot.
Glutinous rice
Sushi.
I use broken jasmine to make fried rice. Tried it first to make Guyanese fried rice.
These variety of rice are best eaten without tomatoe stew.
Good for sticky rice dishes or rolls.

Actually, basmati followed by long grain comes last for me.
Long grain is best for jollof as it absorbs nutrients quicker and very sweet variety.

The fact that some rivers youths will allow themselves to be used by these old cargoes because of peanuts is something I am yet to understand
Cos that's who they are.
From junior secondary, they are part of cult already.
Rivers men are extremely lazy. They want easy and quick money.
And since majority are cultists, they must obey their leaders. Easier way to climb up the ladder.

At 14 yrs some are already a father.
