EnterpriseMan:
The only way to get rid of bed bug is boiling hot water. I once had the issue in my previous apartment. I used all sort of chemicals known to man but they don't die and they have one strong smell when you kill them. What I did was simple, my bed had a water proof layer all around it so they can't get into the foam.
Anyway it took me an entire day.
1. I brought a big 200ltr drum into my room and filled it with water through a hose and dipped 6 ring boilers into it and left it for 2hrs to boil.
2. Then every clothing in my room I dipped into the boiling drum of water and took straight to my washing machine to wash with hot water. When the room no longer had any clothing, I flushed the drum and boiled another full drum.
3. I took my pressure washer that I use for my car and sprayed boiling hot water in every part of the room. Everything I did not need I simply set it on fire including all the trash. The walls, the ceiling every part of the room was washed, then I moped the water off the floor, scraped the old paint and sprayed the room again. Then I took the mattress out to dry and left the room to dry for 2days then I re painted the room.

I never found or saw any bed bug in that room ever again until I left that house.

I found the hot water solution on YouTube. Apparently it kills bed bugs easily even the eggs that haven't hatched yet.
You never jam those wey bury themselves inside walls cheesy
That thing na witch abi wizard. The worst to get rid of are those ones.

I never knew anything about bedbugs until I moved to London. I rented this shared accommodation with about 4 other people. Everything was fine until about 5 months later that a new occupant moved in.

Let's just say they sucked my blood like mallam drinking kunu. Part of the reason I lost my hair too. I eventually gave up and left the house for them.

Edited:

I remembered one girl i was chasing then. I used to help her with her uni work and she just called me up one day that she wants to come over. I couldn't tell her I had bed bug infestation as per you know boys thing. I went to sainsburys very close to me. I bought raid, sprayed the room with the full can and I wasn't sold cos it just smelt like deodorant. In my mind, it would kill some if them before the girl comes to sleep over.

Anyway, the girl came we did her coursework and more coursework overnight. She left the following day. Later in the day, I called her to check up on her if she was OK, she sent me a picture where she looked like anjonu. She applied calamine lotion all over her body cos she couldn't understand why she had so many insect bites. I denied knowing anything about it.
Till I left the house, I always go to bed as if I'm about to travel.

My dear,I rather join my wife in the kitchen than see another person who is supposed to be sleeping awake.

If u work for me,I treat u with utmost respect and decorum...especially someone I usually leave my children for. As I buy snacks for my children and also do same for her and same goes to stocking of the house,I buy food and give her to give to her mum.

I have had two experiences where my former nannies wanted to come back after they must have gone for Omugwo or stopped worked on health grounds.

I am just not Nice for name calling but really a nice guy.
Then why not join your wife in the kit hen every day at 4.

A 24yrs oldnanny is a paid to do the job and waking up to help prep breakfast is part of her job.

A top banker with kids who obviously go to bed late while waking up at 4 will in no time suffer from depression and mental health challenge.
You are breeding a monster but remember, when it happens don't say it's the devil but it's what you groomed over the years.
Your wife is not a slave. What I read is slavery.

Yes, I am igbo and I know you are. Most of our wives are slaves in marriage. The reason you see a wife beating the maid to death cos of transferred aggression rampant in the east
Society sees her like you as a strong woman. She is not. She is living for the society instead of herself. It will be good if you start seeing marriage from the lens of modern man not what our ancestors passed down to us.
She is someone else child too and her family also loves her.
Marriage is not entrapment.

Until you have personally made serious compromises cos of your wife, she is simply your slave.

A 24yrs old lady would be sleeping while her boss a top banker wakes by 4am EVERYDAY to prepare breakfast for the whole family. This is before the boss sets out to work while the nanny is at home. Hopefully you begin to see your wife as someone's daughter too.
Thank you.
I read that opening post twice and what I see is a woman who don't cherish herself. A woman who live to slave for her house so she will be tagged a good wife.
Oga don't even enter kit hen cos it's above him.
Yeah, good wife indeed.
How I wish we can read the woman's heart and see how she feel without being fake.

Instead of us being in Nigeria and walking on egg shells because we don't wanna be blamed for anything, then lets get out of Nigeria as a matter of urgency.

The reason why this protest is loosing steam is because Igbos did not participate. While I get it that Igbo hate unites Nigerians, we cannot continue to live like a conquered people!
Who are the us?
Which igbo is walking on egg shell.
Hatred for igbo promp igbos to develop igboland and excel anywhere they are for the past yrs.
Our parents made that mistake, this generation are wiser. It's just a matter of time when situations align itself naturally. There are things that are unstoppable. It only need time and acting at the right time. Use developmental indices to knock them out that creator of Nigeria will be the one who will do the right thing and court you when they see your strength and how other nations are scrambling to partner with you. Then you will lay your card on your table and watch them fight your fight.
Even if you call for secession from now till eternity, protest from now till you die, until they say yes, you are going no where.
So instead of making noise up and down, use your tongue to count your teeth( this is actually a message from a retired British General who fought for Nigeria against Biafra during the civil war. I had one to one wit the guy cos of trust and what I can't write down here were discussed)
I will leave it there.
Don't be too hasty. You can discuss general things and light weight igbo this igbo that. Remember, more than half of the user names that like when you talk like that are not igbo put planted all social media platform to psych igbos so as to up their games. Be wise. Be wise.
E get why. Also mind your utterances, you are not hidden nor free. Check out old igbo nairalanders and see why some are hibernating or some will stay neutral. When you come online, sometimes just watch how situations are first and ask yourself questions before you start doing cho cho cho.
Igbos are yet to master psychological politics. Your arch enemy is number one in that and that's what the pay per post guys here are trained to do.
Master that first and not just type what's in your mind the way it is. Learn to play with words.
Enough said.

I don't have anything to lose neither any member of my family if this turns political like it has been brewing since last week, but there is no igbo diasporian that want igbos at home to join the protest. E get why.
The why is what people like you who are so fast to lay their cards on the table don't know.
Allow the elders, politicians and those that matters in the scheme of things to navigate this thing. You don't have classified information more than them and that's why they urge all igbos to stay calm. End SARS and election violence will just be an eye opener. One mistake and you will see igbos annihilated like rodents.

Wait it out. It will cost you nothing.

He even credited the development in south east to the newly created commission.

Isn't that common knowledge? But do you know that this journey takes a while? Takes longer if the person in question is old? Do you also know that there are health challenges that can put an end to one's life in weeks? If weightloss through diet control can take 3 months and sudden death due to obesity is imminent in a month, would you advise your patient to tow the path of dieting? The quickest solution would be proferred as was done in this case. It's just unfortunate that it cost him his life.

Let me also burst your bubbles further... There are medical conditions that would set one's body on a fat gaining spree so much so that diet control and intermittent fasting won't give any results. Such people are advised to tow this path to correct this condition and set the body right.

Finally, let me correct you by saying weight loss is 80 percent diet ONLY IF the person's hormones are in check. Other than that, even a strict vegetarian would be obesed.
No sane argument about weight management through eating healthy food.
The problem is knowing the right food to eat.
We as a nation dont know Jack about healthy and balanced diet.

5) Avoid anything Sugar eg tea, bread
6) Drink a lot of water

These four men are obese. Obi should watch it.
Big man dey go gym. So.e of them should employ the service of personal trainer and nutritionist.

In developed countries like UK, obesity is the problem of the poor but in Nigeria, it's the reverse.
That shows that even though you may be rich, an average Nigerian don't eat a balanced diet. Adults don't know what they need. They thought its all about drinking the best wines and eating loads of nkwobi. From 40yrs, one should start eating for health. If you are struggling, gym. If no gym, construct one. Leave that car and walk. Enter farm, do housework. Move that body. It will not stop you from being a big boy or gal. Health first.
