Soulless government.

That this great grandpa didn't visit Jos when school building collapsed with his cabinet made me conclude that he has a heart of stone. One of his supporters started yarning dust as usual around me, I didn't know when I shouted him down. At least be humane. It has nothing to do with ethnicity this time around.
They are innocent and sinless school children whom the president and the wife are supposed to be their parents.
I don't have nothing to say about his wife at all as she is not the president but........

Egg is the best animal protein before you start making mockery of that. It is a full meal on its own with all the complete Amino Acids intact.

I doubt if the one given to the Asian was prepared by a Ghanaian . Ghana egusi soup is almost watery not thick ,and that's how they prefer it.
Let us hear abeg. All west Africans make egusi soup their own ways. Maybe you guys think it's only Ghana and Nigerian soup. The same way we claim jollof rice yet the country it came from don't make noise about it or fried rice.

You need that egg more than the swallow itself for the health benefits.
Nigerians eat to fill belle, not necessarily for health benefits.

"See the way he looks like someone with down syndrome". What is actually wrong with the comment? Where in the sentence does it look like I'm insulting people with down syndrome? huh huh.
Yes, you are insulting people with down syndrome.
In our society, we always call down syndrome people imbeciles of the society. We look down on them too. That's why we use them always to depict people negatively. It's just like saying somebody is looking like a mad person.
We Nigerians don't have empathy unless it involves us so yes, you shouldn't have said that as a mother and an adult.

Meant no harm. Just that I would have overlooked it if it's those kids.

Down syndrome children are people's children.
You may not have one. Some do and cherish them. Down syndrome children also make it big in life and live to enjoy perfect family life. I live in a country where all lives are cherished.

I thought you have outgrown this.

I would give anyone 10 million naira instantly if they can prove NNPC is not taking massive loose of minimum of ₦550 per litre to keep fuel at 700

This fuel subsidies has opened my eyes to see that 98% percent of Nigerians are below average in smartness

Sadly I don't see this country growing time to liquidate my assets and move out
You are just knowing that what we term smartness is actually foolishness.
In average iq by country, we are at 114. Kenya is even smarter than us at 105.

Our food combination alone will tell you how an average Nigerian reason.

You can see the nonsense discuss here every day .

Blood is meant to be free donated here we are in Nigeria, govt don't even care about the health sector.
They prefer to go abroad to treat malaria and cold.
What choice do the hospitals have.

This is so painful.

If you haven't lost someone dear to you then you won't understand. My mum I lost to cancer I know how depressed I was to the point of committing suicide because we were so so close .

It's well.I don't even know what to say again sef.
Some of us have been there and we understand.
Lost my mum 4 days to my traditional marriage.
Buried her on the 3rd day and trado continued.
Reason why I never celebrate my marriage anniversary. Don't even like to see the pictures nor the video cos they trigger some emotions. Burned everything after giving birth. Well, hubby hid some. grin

Move on with the good memory you had of her and make her proud of you.
Also, you can always go to her tomb and speak to her. Yes, it's healing. Tell her your fear, worries, achievements etc. It's normal in many culture

I am about to fulfill one of what she said I should do before she died.

Hmmmmm I can imagine. So sorry. Don't know if you remember the 2005 Dec. Sosoliso airline that only 2 people survived (ie Late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya's Personal Assistant and a student then Kelechi or so now in the US), now there was a woman who lost all her 3 children on that plane crash. Is now I know that that woman needs to be given a trophy. How in the world could she and her husband survive that trauma and went on the following year 2006 to give birth. Can't forget because newspaper carried the news that she has given birth and that child should be 18yrs now. Indeed this life is a mystery
I know that case very well. Shell directors lost their kids there. Actually, Shell md was in our house when it happened and his son was among. I know 5 kids there by association. It was like a black Friday for us that day.
My big bros colleague and friend lost his only son, Shell md lost his. Another family friend lost 2 kids and I have forgotten how I know the other kid. The family that lost 2, I think the wife died later. One managed to get 1 after ivf in Holland then and lost the boy.

After that incident, parents narrowed down the choices they made concerning their kids education and herd mentality.

It's not everybody that has the mental capacity to endure great loss.
One of my aunt lost her 2 kids and lost it mentally even though she had other kids later.

In South Africa, at different stages of ur building you wait for the authority to come and inspect.
I live in uk. It really takes time to complete a building.
I witnessed the building authority electing a mini estate close to my house. This took more than 2 yrs. At a point I asked what is delaying the.. I also noticed the foundation stage takes so much time.
At every time, inspectors are on ground.
Those bricklayers etc actually have certificates. The plumbers, name them, all has one certificate or the other. To become a qualified bricklayer takes like 2 to 3 yrs. Some engineers will add experience and exposure join. You must get your maths and English waec or gce level.

But in naija, anything goes.
I went to work in one hospital over here and decided to check them out. It was established 1897. That's a mark of good structure and maintenance.
You see naija, I have given up. It's rotten from head to the toe.

That incident make me pack my bag and left Nigeria for good.
Just that this triggered the memory.
Since I read it last night, I have been very unsettled.
If that woman lives, she will be a complete mental case.

They will eventually release him but he must have learnt his lesson not to overstep his boundary.
That award he received sent him to prison cos he was used to test ground not naira whatever. The govt was just trying g to be careful not to incur international outrage especially tinubu that's on a shaky ground in aso rock.

Honestly same.

I wouldn’t be able to survive that
When I lost my child yrs back,I was semi mad but didn't know. I didn't cry. Was just wandering up and down our area cos it was so sudden and learnt afterwards that dh was following me from afar. People who know me will greet or hail, i didnt know, my husband will just give them sign from afar to leave me alone, how much more 4 kids. Living is useless na. Your mind will just go blank.
