But now in 2015 that Buhari refused to participate in the useless presidential debate but instead opted for town hall meetings and grassroot mobilisation with face to face meetings with the electorate, he should be rejected. Is it only the Ijaws that will vote for Jonathan?. Can the Ijaws votes only make Jonathan president in 2015?. He cannot even win 100% Ijaw votes because the votes will be split between the PDP and the other parties. So what are we talking about. Don't also forget the Ameachi factor. Is it even a crime for Ameachi or any other person from the South South region to aspire to the highest office in 2015 just because the President is from that region?. We shall see in 2015. So this Dokubo thinks it is only the Ijaws that has monopoly of violence. It is the highest number of votes that will make somebody a President. In fact this Dokubo and his likes are even making it more and more difficult for Jonathan to be reelected with their statements. The senator said Shagari had 12million votes while Awolowo had 5million votes in the 1979 general election. The truth of the matter is that Shagari scored 5,668,857 votes representing 33.77% of the total votes cast and Awolowo scored 4,916,651 representing 29.18%
of the total votes cast. Our so called leaders should stop distorting facts and history.
