Congratulations Asiwaju Tinubu the President-elect. Kudos to the Northern APC governors especially Ganduje and El Rufai who remained loyal to the end and ensure that power comes back to the South. |

So the video is doctored. How about the video of Honourable Chinyere that was caught with $500,000 is also doctored. Honourable Chinyere confessed that he was sent by Atiku with $500,000 to rig Rivers state election. This corroborates the fact that the video is real. |
Is it the election materials that has already been delivered to all the local governments or the one for the forthcoming gubernatorial election. Events has overtaken the judgement that came on the eve of the presidential election. |
This Naira redesign policy gave Tinubu the perfect opportunity to distance himself from the failures of the Buhari's government and it is working in his favour. The 22 APC governors have changed their strategies by telling voters that their old Naira notes are safe if Tinubu wins the election and distanced themselves from the this policy failures. There is also sympathy for Tinubu because this policy is targeted at him and it has boomeranged. The judgement of the Supreme Court tomorrow will be a game changer as it will be in favour of the APC governors as all their prayers will be granted and Buhari will have no choice than to comply. |
Atiku is not stable and has realized that this Naira policy has boomeranged and now in favour of Tinubu. The 22APC governors have changed their strategies now by telling voters that their old money is safe once TInubu is elected as President and have distanced themselves from this failed Buhari's policy. The outcome of the supreme court ruling on Wednesday will finally be a game changer for Tinubu. Despite Buhari's last minute betrayal, Tinubu will win the election with the support of the APC governors. |
I laugh about this endorsement that does not hold water. Asiwaju Tinubu will defeat Peter Obi at the polling unit in front of Obasanjo's house. A man that has no political value and a paperweight that cannot deliver his ward is busy endorsing a candidate that has no structure, that can never win this coming election. He did it in 2019 and failed and never learnt his lesson, he will learn the lesson the hard way this time around. This old man should just respect himself and stop dabbling into politics that that will put him to shame in the end. |

I am not a politician. I am a registered voter. I have my PVC but I can bet Tinubu is winning the coming election. He is very serious and strategic. He is a leading candidate. I think what happened during the APC primary will replicate during the forthcoming general election. The opposition candidates should change their campaign strategy more than health issue and corruption matters and others. Tinubu has gone too far for the opposition to catch up with. |

Running mates are not elected like in the case of Lawan. So they can be substituted by the party if the party wants to. So placeholders cannot afford to go rogue. He who appoints can also remove. So that concerns does not exist. It is the Principal that cannot be changed except subject to electoral laws. |
So a serial loser that headed a privatisation programme that ended up enriching his friends and cronies and impoverishing Nigerians is the answer. Somebody that looted the treasury that Obasanjo attested to is the answer. Tinubu that travelled to the length and breath of Nigeria appealing to the delegates without breaking down is "shaky shaky". Instead of discussing issues that will bring Nigeria back on its feet you are supporting a candidate that has nothing to offer. Atiku has changed parties and contested the presidency more than seven times. What an inconsistent and unprincipled politician. Anybody that Dino Melaye supports is already a failure. |
APC will also choose the party's Presidential candidate by consensus just like the Chairman of the party and Osinbajo is the man. There will be no Presidential primary election. Just note it down. |
Putin will pay a heavy price for this atrocities. This is no more war but a genocide against a sovereign country. i doff my hat for president Zelensky. He has been able to rally his country and the whole world against the unprovoked attack on his country by Russia. It is either Putin is assassinated or violently removed from power. I wonder the type of government he will install in Ukraine after destroying the whole country's infrastructure and killed all the people. He has already lost this war because the whole world is against him. Russian economy will soon crumble without redemption. He seriously miscalculated by thinking invading Ukraine will be a tea party. |
Ogogo Omo Kulodo, a veteran actor, awon ti Ilaro. How is Oba Olugbenle, Olu of Ilaro. Happy birthday sir. |
This Kpokpogri is a disgrace to manhood. I am sorry for those women that are dating this "kiss and tell" of a man. He is not a real man and very immatured. What an effeminate man!! |
Osinbajo is the right man for the job because he is capable educationally, physically and spiritually.. I will only vote if he is made the APC presidential candidate. Tinubu should support him and not spoil South West chances. Osinbajo is acceptable all over Nigeria. |
This is a symptom of kidney or liver disease. This should be confirmed asap because delay is dangerous. |
Professor Yemi Osinbajo is the best man for Nigeria. He is 63 years and a very intelligent man. When it comes to law and economy, I doff my hat for him. He has garnered experience to lead Nigeria. He has my vote anytime, anyday. I advise Asiwaju Tinubu to go and rest and give his full support to Prof Osinbajo. |
Obaseki is taking his luck too far. He should face governance and forget this early unnecessary bickering. He should be humble and magnanimous in victory. Does he know what will happen tomorrow? He can still be removed by the supreme court like the case of Imo and Bayelsa states. This is someone that called Tinubu his national leader and mentor when he went to Bourdillon in Lagos to beg for the ticket of the APC. |
Obaseki is a political starter and he will be taught some political lessons this coming Saturday. This man went to Bourdillon with some governors to beg Asiwaju Tinubu to talk to Oshiomole to allow him fly the party's ticket when he sensed that he would be denied the second term ticket. He begged and prostrated for Tinubu. He even made a statement eulogising Tinubu as his political leader and godfather. But now that he is flying the PDP ticket after he was disqualified Asiwaju is now a godfather who should not be allowed to extend his political empire to Edo State. What an irony!! |
This Giadom or what is his name is a comedian. I think the weed the man smoke is affecting his brain. He should go and sell form and organise his own primary. Foolish man that is allowing himself to used by Ameachi to destabilise APC..Ameachi should be removed as a minister and expel from the party for trying to destabilise the party through Giadom. |
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked the Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki and five others aspirants seeking the ticket of the party to submit their original certificates to avoid Bayelsa’s experience. The six aspirants who have bought, completed and submitted the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms are Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, governor Godwin Obaseki, Hon. Dr. Pius Odubu, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, Hon. Osaro Obazee and Hon. Matthew Aigbuhuenze Iduoriyekemwen. The party has slated June 22, 2020 for primary election to elect the party’s Edo state governorship candidate. In a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, Friday in Abuja, APC said the various submissions will be displayed at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja and in Benin City, the Edo State capital from Monday 8th to Tuesday 9th June, 2020 for claims and objections. “In our bid to ensure due diligence and transparency in the screening exercise and learning from our recent shocking experiences, we are determined to avoid any lapses in the process. Therefore, we are making the submitted information and documents of the governorship aspirants available to our party members and the public for verification of claims and to support the screening panel with information or any objection to the claims contained in the submission by the aspirants. “We are inviting party members and indeed members of the public to assist the screening committee by scrutinizing the information, credentials and documents provided by the governorship aspirants and availing the Screening Committee of counter and correct information, if applicable. “Recall that in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines, APC had earlier released its time table and schedule of activities for the conduct of the 2020 Governorship Primary Elections in Edo States. “Accordingly, sales of nomination and expression of interest forms began at the APC National Secretariat from Wednesday 20th May to Tuesday 2nd June, 2020. “The last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents was Wednesday 3rd June, 2020. “As earlier stated, publication of claims and objections will be from Monday 8th to Tuesday 9th June, 2020. Screening of aspirants has been slated for Wednesday 10th to Thursday 11th June, 2020. “This will be followed by Screening Appeal which will hold on Friday 12th June, 2020. “The Primary Election will hold on Monday 22nd June, 2020, while Election Appeal has been slated for Wednesday 24th June, 2020.” Source: https://www.blueprint.ng/breaking-oshiomohles-nwc-asks-obaseki-others-to-submit-original-certificates-for-screening/ |
The moment Obaseki lost the battle to unseat Oshiomohle as the party National Chairman that I know he is gone. He is not a good politician because he showed his hands too early. He should have waited for his return to second term in office before he starts flexing muscle with Oshiomohle. The way things are right now he is seriously in a weaker position because it is the NWC that will decide the mode of primary for each state. He is just an ingrate because you don't bite the finger that fed you. He will now be thought a lesson on how to play politics as he is too confrontational. All the people backing him now will abandon him when the chips are down. |
It looks like my village masquerade gown. It is a "no no" for me. |
Tinubu is now the most powerful politician in Nigeria today with the turn of events. He nominated the vice president, senate president and the speaker of the house of representatives. All politicians in the country will now be paying homage to him in order to be relevant politically. 2023 will be very interesting. |

I have said it that Ademola Adeleke should not jubilate because of his victory at the election petition tribunal as the case might be overturned at the appeal court. Adeleke's case is also compounded by the forgery case hanging on his neck. See the link below https://www.nairaland.com/5095060/osun-tribunal-verdict-adelekes-lawyers/3#76928199 |
Oyetola might triumph at last. Dakuku Peterside and Mama Taraba won at the Election petition tribunal and at the appeal court but both lost out at the Supreme court. The judgement was not unanimous . The tribunal chairman gave a judgement in favour of Oyetola while the two other judges favoured Adeleke. The case might be overturned by the court of appeal or the supreme court. This is Nigeria, so it is not yet total victory for the Adeleke's until after the supreme court judgement. |
