- Pls Don't compare her with her twin, she has her own capabilities
- For the food, get very fancy and colorful plate... most toddlers this age wants to feed themselves... give her chicken, fish, eggs, sausages..allow her feed herself
- If really worried about her weight, buy pediasure drink for her... come back and testify wink
- put toys in front of her, encourage and cheer her up when she makes any move

JukkyB:
Pls mums, is there any successful way of stopping baby from sucking his/her fingers? When I noticed LO singled out 2 of her fingers (index and middle) and started sucking them repeatedly, I became worried and resorted to wearing her mittens and socks. I thought she was already forgetting as she hardly put that hand in her mouth but I still found out she sucks them at any given opportunity. Saw her sucking them few mins ago, she pulled the mitten (this mitten isn't the regular type, quite long...) Pls how can I stop her, everyone including hubby said I should leave her to suck but I don't want her to. How long will I continue to cover her hands? Make una help me o. She's 3 months and 2 weeks old.

zaynie:
Recently Atinuke fell ill and upon recovery lost her appetite.
Pikin wey dey always wake me up with " I want odin-morn" turned to "I'm okay, I've had enough " for where?! shocked

On our way to pick Moyo from school, I gave her half of it. Before then, she refused to eat anything all morning and I vexingly covered her indomie and eggs on the dining table. Moyo school is just a 7 minutes drive from home. By the time we got to school, someone's eyes were already shining.... Lol.
Got her ice cream, mama ate it all.
Was cranky and acting up: Hunger pangs.
We got home and she downed her noodles and egg one time. Ate all I gave her that same and so far there has been no need to give her another one till date.

I'll be editing the drug name out now.
Don't quote abeg.

Jazzy, let me know when you get it.

Twogreatnations:
Hehehe, welcome to my world before before o. The only way my babes will take a drug without throwing it up is: I make small formulae( a bit creamier) with oats, and mix the drug, then give them . Put little food in the spoon , then put a bit of the drug using a dropper in the same spoon , then feed as though he is eating. That's what works for me. Speedy recovery to your Lo

NB; You might use the cereal he loves more to do it.
