had brown spotting with terrible sharp painful cramps one night went for scan the following day and was told no heartbeat and my baby was measuring 3 weeks behind, that was my first scan, first time of seeing the life growing in me and also the same scan that gave me the bad news no woman should ever hear, but who am i to question God?

Was told it was a missed miscarriage and had to go for evacuation. Ha, that was the darkest period of my life, 4 long years, all that pain, all the expectation, just like that my joy was snatched, like i said who am i to question God?

Even though sorrow may endure for a night i know joy will come in the morning, ha God must come through for me, HE cannot live me hanging, HE cannot disappoint me.

I know this thread is not for annoucing PPR. But considering the fact that I solicited for your assistance, I feel obligated to tell you all that I got my PPR last week. I'm thankful for those that responded to our call. I look forward to joining our greats on this thread in providing valuable insight to those who need it. They won't accept the one issued by your doctor cos I asked and they said no. Send a mail to Lossm@ethiopianairlines.com and ask them for any other clinic they use outside Lagos. I can't imagine that it is only the one in Lagos that they accept.
Whichever one you use, don't get the letter too early. It expires after 48 hours to your flight date.

Charles Hammond Clinic in VI if you are in Lagos. It's on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, just beside Sovereign Trust Insurance building after Tantalizers. You may miss it if you don't use these landmarks. Go with your original Nigerian Passport, N10k and last scan report from your doctor.

You'll then proceed to the physical exam table. You'll be given another changing gown to UnCloth down to to your undies If it's a male doc and you're female, he'll ask if you want a female nurse to be present. After all the tickling acrobatics, you're left to dress up. You'll then proceed back to the waiting area while the doc examines your x-ray. The doc comes back to call you in again and tell you to go as everything is all clear and your results will be uploaded in 2-3 working days.

This has got to be the craziest part of the whole process!!!... how could they ask you to stripe to undies in front of a male Doctor? Nurse available or not this is unfair!. IoM should have make provisions for male Doctors to take care of men and Female Doc for females.

Abuja Clinic definately wasn't like that. Someone that visited IoM Abuja last year requested for a Female and she was granted.
