You guys are of a good courage. I'm a mech engr student but learnt c++ and java outside my course. I later decided to sell my java book to a comp science student in school. To my greatest surprise the computer student hired me a mechanical engineering student to teach him privately after school hours for N200 per day and through out the semester i never lacked meat in my stew.

I know of where to get ebooks but i prefer a hard copy cos it makes me "eat the pages" so to speak. E books are boring at times cos i don't like starring at a screen for too long and besides like marking, underlining and writing important points on the pages for easy reference and remembrance.

Greetings pals, i'm the kind that love computer programming more than any most beautiful girl in town but the resources are too scarce for me to get. Just two days ago i spent 5hrs moving from bookshop to bookshop searching for a dangerous C++ under a fierce sun only for me to go back home empty handed tired and hungry. I visited NIIT but they only give their books to their students. I'm into web and game dev. Can anyone pls tell me of any bookshop to get books on C++, OpenGL, and PHP with MySQL. Hi fellow nairalanders, nice having you guys around. I'm a cplusplus programmer diving into video game development. I'd been sharing a laptop with my brother who does web design. Sharing the piece of thing causes too much traffic cos one has to wait for the other to finish first and besides the system is a bit crappy for video games though good for web design. Can anyone pls suggest any laptop powerful enough for programming video games money can easily afford. All positive comments are welcome. Thanks
