AleAirHub: Guy. is now you made everything clear. The fact the account is dominated in Naira does not really mean anything for now because no Nigeria bank will allow local deposit into foreign account , but such services is operated in Ghana and other Africa countries . So it implies that you will need to ask them the value in Pounds and do the transfer....
That is my own opinion , other persons can still assist.
Thanks Thanks Can CBN "Form A" work for this? or i need to source for Pounds myself |

Since am from Nigeria, they sent me their account details, whose currency is in Naira. The challenge is, how do i transfer Naira into their own Naira account. NB: Their own Naira account wasn't opened in Nigeria. Please see the attached image

If they misbehave, try Union bank, one of my friends sent his own last week. He used Union Bank. |

Hello guys,
There is something i need to know, I read on this forum that Stanbic IBTC charge #208/Dollar at Amazon.com. If i use the same card on other websites to purchase items online, will the Naira-Dollar exchange rate increase?
My question is: is it only on Amazon.com that the rate is #208/dollar?
Thanks |

ceaser: Stanbic.
Haven't utilized that feature of theirs though, but amongst other things like their competitive dollar exchange rate (which sadly has now been eroded), their DCC and Minimum Basic Allowance features are the reasons I opened an account with 'em 2 months ago. So how much in naira will Stanbic charge me per dollar on Amazon? |

opeyemmmy: Amazon gift card at N290 is kinda high or am I missing something?
One thing I know is, Amazon allows you to check out in naira at N208/$ or N287-N300/£. One can simply accumulate gift cards at different times and use the gift cards for a more expensive item. The only condition is if your bank allows dynamic currency conversion, and I know some banks still do.
Why are we here again Hello sir, If i use my GTBank Master card on Amazon, how much in naira, will GTBank deduct from my account per dollar? |

Hello nairalanders,
How do i transfer money (in Naira) to a company's account in London (also a naira account). This company operates a naira account with Barclays Bank PLC, London.
I intend to send about 2M naira, hence, i can't use Western Union/Moneygram because of the quarter restriction of 1,000 USD or its equivalence as stipulated by CBN.
Please see the attachment and advise me on how to go about it.
Regards,
|
