The major way to ascertain a Yoruba town/settlement is that the Oja obas are always beside the Kings palace and that’s mostly the city centre. Every other parts are built surrounding both.

Of course, the girl wants to be on a safe side. Also, purpose before marriage. She wants to look before she leaps. Woman wants a man who can be a true leader. Her questions are not bad. Many people just jump into relationship without being intentional and purposeful. In Igbo land, Grasscutter is what we refer to as Bushmeat (see first and second picture below), however some Nigerians don't seem to understand the difference between bushmeat and the typical gutter rat.

Please see the pictures below, Notice the rounded head, short ear and short mouth on the grasscutter? compare that to the long mouth, long tail, long and slender long body of the gutter rat (Third picture below)

The Grasscutter is herbivorous and can be found in the bushes and forest , while the Gutter rat eats anything and can be found in the gutter eating excrement, cockroaches, dirt. It is not fit for human consumption.

This habit of catching gutter rats, killing them and trying to pass them off as bushmeat is making Nigerians look bad, the average foreigner visiting Nairaland would assume that Nigerians eat rats.

Anyways, while it's not right, landlords often see themselves as the Lord of the Land on which their house was built - this is a lesson, don't try to be a hero if you can't lead others to join you in doing compound thing.

If you even go to court, the landlord can say he gave you the quit notice because, having considered that the house not having light will be an inconvenience to you, he has decided to terminate your tenancy agreement so you can get a proper house that meets your demand.

Wisdom is always profitable to direct - Landlord wey hold beef with full street naim you think say intimidation by few tenants will faze? You guys could have asked for a general meeting with him and sweet talk him into paying the dues, even if it means contributing small small to assist.

No doubt, the food is delicious, but I've only had bad experiences with them... Each time I eat them, I have this tendency of either getting a bad runny stomach or heartburn...
