IRETI dipped a towel into a cold water and squeezed it, then gently placed it on Emi's forehead to cool his temperature.

Everyone looked at him surprised, in a situation like this, who says no to saving a precious life.

Emi slowly raised his hands and placed it on IRETI's, and coughed slightly.
"Emi, lay still, the poison is still in you" Ogunjimi said and placed his hands on his stomach.
"He I........ I.... Is... aaa... Allivvve" Emi managed to say and drew his last breath, his head tilted to the right side with his eyes opened, and the hands he laid on IRETI fell dead.
"Who is Alive? " Ogunjimi said looking at him.
IRETI closely examined Emi, she lifted his head which freely dropped lifelessly again, she moved his head to face her, weeing his eyes opened, she placed her hands on his chest.
"Father, no no" She said softly and stood up. And shook Emi's lifeless body furiously.

Remi suddenly jumped of from his bed and began panting heavily, he was sweating profusely and tried to relax, he looked outside from the window and was relived that it was almost day break. He held his head tight feeling slight headache, this was the third time in that week he would suddenly be jumping out of bed and everytime he tried to remember what the dream was, he always felt a kind of restrain which caused him pain severely.
He walked to the water calabash and used a bowl to get water from it and drank, he made his arms glow, so he could see the room clearly, and then walked out of the room, to begin his morning chores.

Emi entered into the compound alongside Ajanaku, chatting heartily
"Finally we are home" Ajanaku said and patted Emi on the shoulder.
Emi felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and grunted a little.
"Are you okay? " Ajanaku asked
"Yes" Emi replied feeling relieved he took two more steps and felt the pain again, this time it was stronger.
"Ahhh" Emi groaned, clinching his teeth together and placed his hands on his stomach.
Ajanaku held him by the shoulder and had a confused look on his face.
"What wrong "
"Ahh" Emi grunted again and he began feeling weak on all part of his body, and fell on Ajanaku.
Ajanaku quickly carried Emi on his shoulder and ran as his feet could carry him towards the hut.
"Everyone, who is home? " Ajanaku shouted as he ran to the hut.

After the party which ended some hours before dawn, Emi immediately gathered himself to leave as soon as possible. Ajanaku on the other hand was having loads of fun with the white ladies that admired him. He winked at Emi and relaxed himself among them, smiling almost stupidly. "Let's leave" Emi said and adjusted his agbada and his wrist beads.

One thier way out, they got double crossed by a prominent white man, probably a leader of some sort.

Ajanaku stood some steps away, watching them with close eyes.

GBAAAUUU!! the gunshot came from the thick woods, sending the bush pig to the ground, hardly giving it chance to struggle for survival.
"Emi ika " the hunter said and put on his head shot and ran towards his prey, and felt happy seeing he pulled down a big one that could earn him enough fortune.
"Thanks to the gods" he said and stared at the boar, wondering where to start from.
He raised his head and something shone on his face, at first he ignored it, but it was like his soul was attached to whatever it was, he looked towards the direction and the flash came again.
"What's that? " he asked himself and switched off his head torch.
He slowly walked towards the direction, bending down to avoid collision with the banana leaves that were below his head.
He got to where the object was and right at his feet, was what looked like a shining stone, on one part it shoned red while the other part was white.
His heart almost stopped beating, as he felt a sharp pain on his back, and another at his feet, he quickly let go off the stone and attempted to run, but his legs were already rooted to the ground, in that cold morning, he could feel himself sweating profusely..
He felt something crawled up his body and slowly he began to loss life, he tried to scream, but his throat denied him. A huge dark figure slowly rised before him, and put it's mouth against the hunter's mouth. The hunter slowly gasped, as his body rapidly turned pale and he immediately was dried up even to the bones.
The huge figure gave a sigh of relieve and growled softly, it looked towards the direction of the moon and gave a loud horrible shout.

"To Emi" Everyone cheered and faced Emi, and gave a round of applause to him.

Remi opened the door that led to the hut where he kept the eggs and ushered Ewatomi in, he ran to where the eggs were and pulled off the clothes he used to cover them.
"Ewwwww " Ewatomi said and knelt down placing her hands on both of the eggs,closing her eyes.
The eggs slowly began to glow and brightly illuminated the room, and slowly, the light traced through her veins, main it shine brightly.
Remi opened his mouth surprised and patiently waited, then she removed her hands but before she could open her eyes the light already died down.
"Why are you staring like you are seeing me naked" She asked and snapped her fingers at his face.
"Nothing"
"The egg is alive, if it's truly a flying lizard, am getting one" She said and sat on the bare floor.
"Hmm, don't let me give you hope o" Remi said and covered the eggs back and led her out and closed the door.
The egg on the right, suddenly cracked and fell into pieces. The dark room, made it hard for whatever came out of the egg to be seen, but a part illuminated on what looked like a tail and slowly it crawled off

Remi got to stream, from afar, he could hear sound of cheers like two people were involved in a fight, as he got closer, he saw Ewatomi roughly pulled to the ground by another girl and another smashed her calabash to the ground, breaking it into pieces.
Ewatomi was helpless, crying uncontrollably as the other girl pounded her with her fist.
"You have the guts to go after him, I don't know what he sees in you"
Remi dashed towards the group and immediately they all disbanded, moving to safe distance, leaving Ewatomi and her opponent.
"Ifewumi " Remi said and angrily pulled her away from Ewatomi. And helped her up.
Ewatomi released herself from Remi's grip and weakly walked towards the river to clean herself and return home to get another calabash.
Remi stood speechless and looked at Ifewumi with a questioning look.
"You know, I am more beautiful than she is, how come you are attracted to someone as her, someone from a poor family, she wants to attach herself with a god, see am the one for you" She said and tried to cuddle herself on him.
Remi eyes turned red, and immediately Ifewumi halted and bite her lips, with a cliched fist. Remi walked towards Ewatomi and aided her in cleaning up.
"Am sorry, I had to put you in such a situation "
"Just let me be and go and met the love of your life whatever" She said and shuddered.
"I found an egg, about ten times bigger than an ostrich egg" He said trying to impress her.
"Whatever "
"And I saw a huge lizard that could fly and spit fire" Remi said again.
"Good"
Remi out of option, quickly planted a soft kiss on Ewatomi's left cheek, and she responded with a blush, trying to hid her smile.
"Come, let's go see it" Remi said and aided her up.
Ifewumi boiled in rage, seeing all what transpired, she felt disgraced, and humiliated among the crowd and angrily walked towards them.
"If you step another inch closer" Remi said, with thunder Bolt cracking from his hands. He held Ewatomi by the waist and flew into the air, in an instance.

Honestly this is the worst and most confusing arc. The character development is lacking greatly. Hopefully we shall see more in the next arc. We still got your back

Emeka screamed out loud as Oluchi's sword slashed his shoulder, he never thought Oluchi was so skilled, not that he underestimated her, but she was way to high for him to keep up with her, the way she moved her swords with ease, the way her next move was very much unpredictable.
She threw a sword at Emeka and before he could dodge it, she scraped him off his feet, Emeka fell hard on the ground and groaned painfully. Oluchi stood above and swiftly made an attempt to pierce his chest, swiftly he held her legs and pulled her down and gathered strength to stand up and kicked her swords away far from her.
Oluchi did a Chinese getup, leaving Emeka in total shock. She made a fist and threw a punch at Emeka, who swayed his head dodging it, and gripped her hands under his armpit, and turned ninety degree and used his elbow to hit her on the face.
Oluchi staggered and before she could recover, Emeka gave her another punch on the face. Oluchi tried throwing a punch, and Emeka quickly grabbed her hand again and rolled her over his shoulder and smacked her down.
Oluchi purred as blood flowed from her nostrils, she felt to weak to stand.
"Go, get out of town" Emeka said panting heavily, and spitted to the ground near her.
Oluchi looked sideways and saw her sword laying about four inches away.
"You say it like you are doing me a favour" Oluchi struggled to say.
"No, am sorry myvfather used you, this is the only way, I could pay, enough blood shed already" Emeka said and wiped his mouth before turning his back at her and continued to walk away.
Oluchi grabbed her sword and gathered strength to stand up.
IIIAAAAA Oluchi screamed and swayed the sword at Emeka. With quick reflex, Emeka bent down, allowing Oluchi's hand rest on his shoulder and knocked off the swore from her and grabbed it, then drove it into her stomach.
"It will always run in your family" Oluchi said, as she leaned on Emeka's back and lifelessly fell to the ground.
Emeka panted heavily and cried out loudly with great grief and fell to his knees, sobbing.

Remi attempted to launch another punch Ewatomi, who shuddered and coiled herself up, whimpering in fear. Remi knelt before her, and dragged her closer to him, and planted a deep kiss on her forehead.

"How are you feeling? " Remi asked and held Ewatomi by the waist from behind.

"Sorry, I wasn't talking to you" Remi replied and busted into laughter.
"Bleep you" Emeka said with his middle finger in the air.
The room was silent for a while, then Emeka spoke.
"Where do we start from?"

Oluchi opened her eyes slowly, with her body complete banded, the room she was in was little and cozy with different symbols on its wall. Then a voice spoke to her.

"God, seems you met your match" Emeka said and jumped over Remi
"Yeah, my girlfriend" Remi said and stood up.
Emeka quickly ducked to safety avoiding Ewatomi who came as a missile straight at Remi.
"God" Emeka said and continued running towards the exit of the main gate of the warehouse.
He ran towards the gate and halted, having no idea where Oluchi went. He bit his lips feeling frustrated suddenly a tiny metal came across his head.
"Ahhh"
"I see you have more than enough to learn" Oluchi said and walked towards him.
"Who are you? " Emeka asked and swayed his sword.
"You See, money, fame, popularity and it likes, do you know how good it feels"
Emeka nodded slightly and walked in circular movement.
"I was your father's butch, he really bleeped the hell out of me"
"Liar"
"Well he played his game well, I felt he used me to satisfy his stingy need, made me useless, do you know how many abortions I had for him and finally I got my womb damaged" Oluchi said and sniffed using the butt of her sword to wipe her nose.

Emeka stood motionless and felt a heavy burden on his heart.
"Guess the saints are not who we think they are" Oluchi said and dashed towards Emeka with her swords lustful of blood.

Remi in his costume, flew above the warehouse, the wind slowly blowing his cape, allowing it to freely flow behind him. He saw Oluchi running out through the back door of the ware house and flew towards her. He suddenly crashed against the building, making a huge crack in it. Oluchi ducked to safety dodging the huge block that fell from above due to the impact of the crack Remi made.
Remi shook his head slowly and flew into mid air, he bit his lips seeing who was before him.
"Ewatomi" Remi said and smiled "You are alive" he said and flew slowly towards her and hugged her tightly.
Ewatomi sniffed, Remi could feel tear drop from her face trickle on his shoulder.
"You abandoned me, you left me for dead during the great war, I thought you loved me" She said and punched Remi hard on the stomach, sending him hard to the ground.

Emeka flipped into the air, using his right leg to kick off a sword from one of the opponent, he bounced himself up and slashed the stomach of his opponent. A kick came at his back, making stagger towards the wall, he was lucky the sword that came at his face was laying about one inch away, he gasped and kicked the opponent, he was now against three more.
HIIAAAA Emeka screamed and advanced.

Remi fell face flat to the ground, laying beneath Ewatomi's feet.
"When I woke up, seeing myself in another strange world, I could feel your presence, hoping you would come for me, I sent thunder signal,you ignored it" Ewatomi said and kicked Remi sending him against a container that stood few meters away from them.
GBIMMM Remi crashed against the container, sending it flat on it side.
"I waited years for you, to save me from where I was made a lab rat" Ewatomi said with cracked voice.
Remi mouth began to bleed, before Ewatomi could hit him again, Remi, held her leg, and look at her face.
"I know what you've been through, am sorry I didn't get you, am sorry"
"the only thing I want is your death"
"You know you share my power, I still run through you" Remi said and stood up.
"Stupid excuse" Ewatomi said and nodded Remi on the head.
BAAANNNG the sound came like two heavy metal in collision. Ewatomi held her head, in pains, Remi gritted his teeth and channels Thunder Bolt into his right hand, and gave Ewatomi an uppercut, that sent her high into the sky.
"Seems I need to beat sense into you" Remi said and flew after her.

THE FINALE
Emeka opened the door that led to the ware house, he glanced at his watch, three minutes after eight, apart from boxes that littered on the ground randomly, it was almost empty, he looked around, seeing the huge bulbs that illuminated the warehouse, he wondered how an abandoned warehouse had a source of electricity, he looked at his phone the red dot he had traced there was pointing to be in the ware house, he walked towards a box and saw the tracker he had put on Oluchi the other night.
"A trap " Emeka said and slowly backed off.
"Going somewhere " A voice asked from the upper floor of the warehouse.
Emeka looked towards the direction, and saw a feminine shape, with two swords in her hands, dressed in a black dress, she shook her head, allowing the hairs that covered her face fall behind.
"Oluchi" Emeka said burst into laughter.
Even in his wildest imagination, he had never thought of Oluchi being a villain, even thought of wielding a sword.
"Are you joking, like I die, I fall o" Emeka said, partly bending down to accommodate the laughter from within.
While he laughed, he noticed, movement some metres behind him and looked back, four other swordsmen, slowly advancing towards him.
"Okay, this is serious" Emeka said and withdrew his swords.

Remi barged out of the room and walked to the shelf that had a door behind it and slid it, Emeka looking confused, stood up and ran after Remi.
Remi bent under the bed and dragged out an iron box from beneath, he flipped it open and and withdrew a cloth from it.
"What's that? " Emeka asked and walked closer, as Remi spread the cloth on the floor.
It looked more of a hero costume, having a green dragon emblem on it, the sleeves of the costume to the chest region was white while the other part were red color, the pant of the costume was also red, behind the costume was a white color boot which Emeka guessed was part, the knee area of the pant had a green thunder Bolt design, Remi dipped his hand into the box and brought out a neatly packed green cape and sighed softly
"Bro, is everything alright? " Emeka asked
"No, someone is calling me out, someone from my past, someone that knows me more than I myself" Remi said
"Dragon lord" Emeka said scornfully
"two dragons actually, I still feel their existence, but finding them is still almost impossible " Remi said.
"Do you have a location on your father's wife" Remi asked and looked at Emeka
"Yes, abandoned warehouse, somewhere around riverine area"

"Do you know how am going to kill her tonight? " Emeka asked, already he felt Remi's presence when he came in.
Remi turned back, he knew it was a question that needed no answer, all what Emeka felt was total hatred towards every living soul in his family.
"How about I make her a living dead, she should live in pain till her kingdom come" Emeka said admiring his sword and slowly turned it around.
Remi didn't reply and walked out, at times the best a man could find redemption is to drown in his own self pity.

"Seems your stepmother deals with the devil himself " Remi said and patted Emeka's shoulder.
"Yea, my only chance of redemption " Emeka said.
"Have you realized you can't take her down alone, she has all necessary connection, seems with the Leviathan " Remi said
"Wiat" Emeka said and turned to face Remi "the same people that wants me to join them? "

Oluchi geared the car in an intention to crush him with his bike. She drove furiously at Emeka and crashed the car against his bike, and waited patiently for the white fumes to die down.
"Where is he? Emeagwali asked, when he couldn't find Emeka laying know the ground, or crushed to pieces.
DAAANNNG two sword pierced the roof of the jeep, as one found it way into Emeagwali's left shoulder.
"AAARRRRGGH" Emeagwali shouted, before the twinkle of an eye, Pa Chucks already alighted the car and took to his heels, not minding it was dark, all he needed was to survive.
Oluchi also, based on instinct, alighted the car and bolted into an alley.
Emeka opened the door, closest to Emeagwali and dragged him out, and slowly pierced his sword inside his shoulder.
"Aerh, please have mercy, please my son"
"This same pain you fell, is the same pain I felt when my father died" Emeka said and continued to press further.
"How did my father died? " Emeka asked and removed his hood, so Emeagwali could see him clearly.
"The day he fell ill" Emeagwali said, panting heavily, and continued "I visited him, and and poo chimmmmooo have mercy"
Emeka pierced deeper and smiled wickedly Now feeling the joy of the pain he inflicted on his victim
"I drop this inside his drink" Emeagwali said and brought out a round metal container from his pocket.
Emeka collected it and flipped it opened, he opened Emeagwali's mouth and attempted to put the whole tablets in.
"My son please, one tablet will make me purge"
"What about two? " Emeka asked.
"Arrrghhh" Emeagwali shouted.
Emeka didn't bother, he poured everything, about eight into Emeagwali 's mouth and drove out his sword.
Emeagwali gulped, and held tight to his shoulder and then to his stomach which began to make funny noise. Emeka brought out his phone and dialled a number.
"Saint John street, there is an emergency" he said and walked into the dark.

Emeka got to the visitors room, where he had intend to end Emeagwali, but to his surprise the room was empty, he ran out to the living room, just then he heard the ignition of a car and quickly ran outside, Oluchi quickly entered into the SUV and raised the ignition of the car with the full headlight brightly shining on Emeka's face. Emeka tightened his sword and slowly advanced towards the car. Oluchi grinned wickedly and put the gear on reverse and bumped into the iron gate, forcing the car out of the gate.
"ARRRRRHH " emeka shouted, and ran to his own personal garage, and lifted the doors, he quickly made for his mountain bike and was lucky enough to have the keys on it.
He wasted no time in kicking the starter and quickly made a three sixty turn, inside the garage, he raised the engine, with tight grip on the handles and released the clutch, which allowed the front tyre of the bike to raise into mid air, with the back tire going into forward movement.
Before Emeka could get to the gate, he saw two men in black, as they ran towards him he removed a sword with his left hand, while his right hand was on the handle of the bike, he geared the bike and advance towards the men. Emeka shouted and slashed his sword making an impact with one of the man's stomach, in return making blood gush out of his stomach with his intestines, making a joyful outburst from their shell.
He stopped his bike and made the back tire move furiously, allowing it bring out with fumes and as the man ran forward, Emeka held still and released the handle, and quickly rolled off the bike, allowing it to move freely in midair towards the man that foolishly ran towards him. The front tire of the bike squashed against the man's face, peeling of a great deal of his face.
"ARRRHHHAHHHH, " the man screamed and rolled on the ground, crying in pain.
Emeka ran towards his bike and raised it up, and angrily, he purposely made sure he ran his bike on the man's leg.

"Stupid girl" Emeka said and punched a button on his phone, which brought out a GPS map showing a red dot that moved "Come from village, using 18th century brain" he said and ignited his bike.

Oluchi alighted her car and walked some few steps, bringing her face with what looked like an abandoned warehouse,she took another look at the piece of paper with her , certain she was sure of her location she threw the paper away. Fifteen minutes gone,she felt frustrated and retuned to her car.
"Leaving so soon" a feminine voice said right at her former position.
She quickly turned back, feeling relieved on seeing someone she knew.
"I thought you wouldn't show up again" She said and quickly got down to business.
"Here that is him, he has now gotten so powerful" Oluchi said and hands a picture over to the lady.
"What are his powers?"
"He uses swords and he is really good at it,I hope Lavaithan will do a good job,if he continue,then I am done for" Oluchi said and passed another bulky envelope to the girl.
"Thank you for your generosity, I will assign someone to you in case if he comes after you"

Emeka stood on the fence of his father's house, this was now a place he dared not enter until he settles things, he hated the fact that he was pushed to the wall, those he called family only stood against him, eating from where they had not laboured. He swayed his sword on both hands and placed back his hood. Emeagwali had to pay for him being too smart. Effortlessly Emeka leaped into the compound and ran towards the backyard, knowing fully well his target would be in the visitors room, leaning against the wall,he carefully walked towards the door that led to the kitchen and carefully pulled it down.
Entering the kitchen his next move was to advance upstairs and lay waste,before he could reach for the door that led to the other room,a strong force pulled him to the floor and slided him right at the kitchen cabinet that housed spoons and basic cutleries. Emeka as he slid,quickly used his Hand to guide his head and groaned before standing up.
Right before him was a girl about his age, who was invisible from her waist down. She quickly made advance kick at emeka who used his hands based on instincts to block off the attack. She retreated and went into karate pose as Emeka slowly retrived both swords.
"Let's see if you are man enough" the girl said and formed a punch.
"Mama, you too young to die o,just step away" Emeka replied and nodded his head.
The girl dash at Emeka and suddenly became invisible, Emeka felt a kick on his face, and staggered towards the cabinet and spitted blood. Another kick came at his stomach again , then another on his right leg.
He knew he would only be lucky to win this fight. The girl became visible and smiled and turned into the former,Emeka quickly tightned his grip on his sword and slashed horizontally
"A ahh" the girl screamed and turned visible. Emeka had succeded in running his sword right from her right collar bone down to her stomach.
"I warned you" he said and retuned his sword be for crossing her and advanced towards the door.

Emi stood up from the throne after a brief meeting with the village newly appointed elders, and headed straight to his own home, he was now human, since about 13 years ago, the gods had collected what belong to them, so they could also sustain their own existence.
Emi arrived home seeing Ajanaku and Ogunjimi entertaining themselves with the local “ayo opon”. Emi felt happy, knowing they had a long year 13 years of peace.
“Ahh, am tired” Emi complained and sat next to Ajanaku.
“Now you know what it means to be human” Ajanaku said and they all laughed at the joke
“Well on Eri and his father, still has their power, apart from the true blood” Ogunjimi said, and played his turn.
While they were busy making fun of themselves, Remi opened the wooden gate that led to the compound and rolled a cart inside, and continued till he got to where the elders were.
“Mo ri nkan (I saw something)’ Remi said with wild excitement on his face .
Without waiting for them to reply, he ran to the back of the cart and removed the clothe he used in covering the eggs. Everyone stood up in surprise at the egg, and at how huge it was.
“Where did you get that from?” Emi asked and took a step closer.
“I saw this inside a cave and a very huge lizard with wings” Remi said excitedly “I can feel life form in these eggs, and I cant wait for them to hatch, so I can see what surprise awaits me”
“Did you say a huge lizard with wings?” Eri asked and walked out of the hut alongside Ireti
“Yes, baba, with stong scaly tail and a horn on the head” Remi replied
Eri stood motionless, the look on his face could tell he knew something about it.
“Is there something you are hiding from us?” Ajanaku asked.
Eri looked from one eyes to another and finally spoke
“I have been having this dream of a flying lizard, which spites fire from its mouth, but I thought it was just a mere dream” Eri said
“Eledumare” Remi shouted and elevated into the air “They can fly” He said again and moved the cart towards the empty hurt in the compound.
“Did you see anything else?” Ireti asked placing her hands on his shoulder.
“Like a war is coming, and Remi was the only one I saw defending, was like, we never existed” Eri said quietly.
“Hmmmm, the great war is near, this egg, is a sign, remember we have heard different sayings, seen signs and dreams and heard even from gods, that we wont witness this war” Emi said gently
“Remi does not know what lies ahead” Ajanaku said and had his seat beside the game, he and Ogunjimi had used to entertain themselves.
