Yes, I agree with you. I have pals on the nominated list but from a neutral standpoint, not many of their posts are insightful, go into 5 or 6 pages of their posts and most of what you'll see is mere chat. If the award is gonna be given based on the quality of posts like it says in the OP's introduction, then a good number of names on that list should be scrapped off. If I want to assume what the op means by next rated, I would go with being a "celebrity nairalander". And that doesn't require contributing anything worthwhile to threads.

The thread is quite shallow in the real sense of it, no different from a hate thread but we do it for fun. So make we laugh, make fun and don't worry yourself about what seems "grey".
