But not everyone gets lighter as they get more famous, but just some who not only wants to appeal to the white crowd, because white skin doesn't always make you appeal to a more broad crowd- if you're good you're good, but this just becomes their personal preference of a new and improved look, so to speak. You know what, I didn't realize how much they favor each other until I posted the pictures up top. They are around the same complexion, light colored- I think, green eyes for both, large foreheads and chinky-like eyes. People are always saying a sun tan or even lightening affects from the camera's. Then why is she the only one to have this white shades whitening affect. beyoncé doesn't have that, Tyra doesn't ever look like that and Tyra is a better example of the complexion Rihanna used to be. Tyra and Rihanna were about the same. In my opinion, a star is a celebrity that is successful or successfully known. A superstar to me, is a celebrity that is universally known. People that don't even listen to their music or watch their films, or buy their magazines, still know who they are. LOL! I knew someone would say that. There are people with your same perspective in every category of life. It's understandable. Not everyone is going to have the same eye and interest. I'd say I just like that he is original. He has a close relationship with his mother and has so much respect for women because of that. He isn't trying so hard to attract a false crowd from emulating someone he isn't. He has that swag. He also has a nice singing voice. I like him more than I like his songs. I hardly even listen to his music, just know who Trey Songz is. |

Skinny jeans are for girls, and men simply look gay in them to me. This is only my opinion, not looking to insult anyone. But why are men walking around with jeans as tight as the girls'? Why would you want to show the definition of your legs and bunz? This is a femenine trait. |

I agree with the comment up top. If we don't make black beautiful then there is no way anyone else will. We have to respresent ourselves. We can't leave it up to the white people- all they care about is whites or anything close to symbolizing it. You have to look like Rihanna. And what gets to me is that they use those images to symbolize what black beauty is when black beauty doesn't look like that. That looks like black-people emmulating white beauty. |
