I believe that christianity is not a religion, but a personal relationship with God because, long b4 most of us were even born, christianity had been polluted with all kinds of false doctrines & false teachings. The devil has created different divisions therein by operating thru the minds of our leaders.
And just like a writer puts it - when you take The Holy Spirit out of the fellowship/service during the time of The Apostles, 95% of they did will stop, maybe only 5% will continue, but if you take out The HolySpirit out of what they do in churches today, 95% of what they do will continue, maybe only 5% will stop. When Jesus was going, He promised that he would implore His father to send The Holy Spirit who is supposed to teach the christians all things.
The result we have to show as Christians depends largely on our relationship with The HolySpirit. That's why most people who have obtained mercy from God and are enlightened are now leaving the churches and going back to God.

@Poster, if you're real, I must tell that your coming to nairaland to beg does not glorify God in anyway. It simply means you've been going to church for years but haven't been studying your Bible.
Where is your patience, perseverance, not to mention longsuffering? Simply means you've being doing religion without having a personal relationship with God and The HolySpirit who is supposed to teach you all things.
If your church is too far for you and your children to trek to, then look for a Truth-preaching church close to your house to attend(when you seek you will find). Maybe there's something God wants you to learn from this change, or have you not read that all things work together for your good?
Jesus says, anyone that will move with Him should carry his cross and follow Him (Christ) daily. That is your cross for now. Let your children know that serving God is not only when it's convenient.
Stop allowing unbelievers to rubbish the Name of God.

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi yesterday called for an immediate increase of 200 per cent on the current N7 per a unit of electricity.
Sanusi argued that this is a sure way of reviving the power sector, saying the present rate is not competitive enough to bring the country out of its energy demand shortfall. If implemented by the government, a unit of electric power will cost consumers N20 instead of the current N6 to N7 per kilowatt hour.
Sanusi spoke while answering questions from State House correspondents in Abuja.

For the power sector to function properly and attract the much needed foreign investment, there is need for a viable regulator, the CBN governor said. He called for the immediate revival of the National Electricity Regulatory commission (NERC) to oversee the moribund sector.
Citing the N22 price charged per a unit in Ghana as an example of modern global reality, he said the present N7 price is against the grain of global practice.
“I am saying we got to have a regulator; we got to have good input for gas pricing. It will encourage investment, deregulate electricity prices.

“This N7 is a myth because nobody gets power at that price. Ghana is paying N22. If we increase it to N22 and you increase gas prices, investments will come into power," he argued.
Sanusi also said the Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) Act would soon return Nigeria banks to the world stage through a credible balance sheet.
The CBN is "doing what we need to do on the banking system and the banking system is stabilising and with the AMCON and once we recapitalise the banks, it will improve the balance sheets of bank and the banks will be back up," he explained.

He noted that the capital market has been recovering fast and the government continues to make progress as far as the reforms are concerned.
The CBN boss went further to state that "the financial system does not live in isolation. You got to fix the issues of the economy and the CBN is not responsible for that. You have an economy in which you do not have power. If you don’t have electricity you cannot attract investors, you cannot improve production.
“We don’t have power because the reforms that ought to have been carried carried out in four years have not been done. We keep talking and talking and talking and we have not yet created the right environment and we don’t even have a regulator for power," he added.

Sanusi stated that the regulatory agency, NERC, had been hamstrung for sometime. "It’s not functioning. And how can you have a sector like power when you don’t have a regulator? It has been suspended for how many years?".
Noting that the nation spends N500 billion subsidies on petroleum products yearly, he said nobody will invest in refineries if they believe that their business model is predicated on government subsidy.

“We are borrowing N500 billion on subsidies every year, we are borrowing money and we are leaving future generation to pay the debt and the benefits of this subsidies are far outweighed by the long term cost to the economy," he said.
The reality "is that the government is not pursuing the right economic policies and nothing in the banking reform will fix the economy unless you fix policy and I say this as an adviser to the government".

If you want to have money, you have to make money, for you to make money you must find a need & meet it. You always pay your barber because he meets a need for you , drycleaner meets a need for you, doctor, food seller all meet needs that you pay them for. You too should simply look around for something people need & provide it for them at a price.

I must let you know that most entrepreneurs produce & are not able to sell, so you must first of all look for your market, then you create a product for them- e.g create what students need to buy or services they will be willing to pay for, sell what girls will buy or create services they will be willing to pay for, lecturers, xtians, muslims, & general public.

@Yefet, Thanks for this touching story. The message here is for us to live our lives for The Kingdom of God. Only few men of God are preacing The Truth today, most of them have compromised their calling. It took me some time to realize that there's a difference between building God's Kingdom and build someone's ministry, many Xtians are busy wasting there time, money & energy to build the ministries of deviated 'men of God'.

May God help millions of Xtians that have been deceived, Amen.

@ Akwasi, that's a good observation you have made concerning the proportion of unbelievers in that region, may The Lord grant you the wisdom & divine enablement to carry it out - nothing will be restrained from you which you have imagined to do - Gen.11:6b

Just make sure you're detailed in your plan & stay connected to The Holy Spirit. Be wise as serpent, but be harmless as dove.

Also make sure you confirm this assignment from God, fro every assignment, there is a when, how, what, who, when to move, when to start, how to go about it, what to say per time & per place, who to go to, who to talk to who to work with etc,

Every serious Xtian must pay attention to the Words of Jesus:

You pray to God in The Name of Jesus, you have no biz with angels.
When you practice Xtianity with total obedience and love, all things work together for your good (including your guardian angel).

Many people may change church for some of the wrong reasons you mentioned above, but most people change church in search of Truth.

However terribly terrible the situation has become, we still have few Truth-preaching Men of God that can never be corrupted by the wave of falsehood that has eaten deep into most denominations.

You don't have to judge anyone who keeps moving, "we're where we are because of what we know, & we will remain there because of what we don't know". When you study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not be put to shame, rightly dividing The Words of Truth - 2Tim.215, , you will know The Truth & that Truth will make you free.

You keep moving prayerfully (with discernment) until you find The Truth.
