The certificate problem exists in both countries. Up until the mid-80s, here in the US, one could live a middle-class lifestyle with only a High school degree (GED), and adequately care for a family of 4. But those days are long gone.

I tell you, to get an interview for most jobs in the US, you would need a Bachelors or Associates degree (even for minimum wage jobs). I'm afraid that in 8-10 years time, the minimum qualification for 65% of available jobs would require some type of Masters degree.

To be honest, college is not for everyone. If you want to be a medical doctor, engineer, lawyer, architect, teacher or a professional in any STEM field, college id for you. For anything else, college is a waste; particularly in these times. I'd say 50-55% of people in US universities have no business being there.

Lucky you that marketing specialist is now being sponsored by northern territory. My advice is for you to get at least 10 points from English test to be able to apply for 190 because the truth is that you need at least 50points from age, qualification,english test and work experience for you to bag at least a total of 60points (assuming you are even considering 489) after being nominated by NT.

Marketing Specialist is assessed by VETASSESS. But the last time I checked the ANZSCO search site, No state was sponsoring it and it not eligible for 189 subclass so I pulled back.

Tried checking back today and I found out Northern Territory is now sponsoring it since dey just update their NT Migration Occupation List.

I have my docs/requirement ready.

What chance do I have knowing that its only being sponsored by a state??.

I already have 45points with my age, Edu. qualification and work experience.

As I said they have not stoped but introduced some more difficult conditions which are, you must have in your international passport a valid US, UK or Any Shengen Visa and some other countries. can not start naming all here. this has been the practice for turkey also for some time. which is why before we apply for Turkish e visa we first get a Mexican visa. This is what Georgia recently introduced too. secondly Georgian immigration takes police report very serious while lots of guys do not get that before they leave Nigeria. Its all about being current with information before leaving Nigeria
