In civilized countries, almost everything about the President/Head of Government is readily conveyed to the populace because s/he is accountable to them. but it is not so with the Nigerian Government! We cant tell what it is with our own President! We have been alienated for too long! |

my argument is that hearing issues as we are raising here (what i now refer to as feedback), they should take a more curious look at their modus operandi. Objective reporting is all they should give us and not giving a lopsided news - which found to be untrue, they rush to delete! That definitely is not proper news reporting! |
Politics › Re: Ban Sahara Reporters! by dgreatrock(m): 10:35pm On Nov 29, 2009 |
Fatod09: Banning of media houses is one of the attributes of military dictatorship, it must not be encouraged in this time of our national development. If you are not happy with news from a particular station, organisation or website, then you have right to check the news from other source. At least a measure to check their excesses. |

nex: I'd love for Sahara Reporters to stop deleting stuff from their website after time has proven them to be liars. They should be bold enough to take responsibility for their lies rather than sneaking unto their website to wipe things off and leave no evidence of them misleading Nigerians and the world. This is very wrong.
@Kobojunkie
it is clear that you are completely divorced from the reality of the situation in Nigeria. If you can afford to mention that some development may have occurred in only Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, yet you're asking of places like Calabar and Kano. When was the last time you visited, or even heard news about Kano or Calabar? This is the problem a lot of people face after they have visited Sahara Reporters' website and watched AIT for years. They begin to have nightmares which they refer to as Nigeria.
Please, make an emergency visit to Kano and Calabar before you continue on these sorts of threads.
BTW, to the individual who claimed that Nigeria is a rogue state I advise you to always have a dictionary with you while watching CNN henceforth. Please tell them, faceless libelous folks! |
