DharmyYinks. Having a 2.0 In Engine is not the issue. But, There's one clause attached to the 2.0; 9-9-6 This is what could be really worrisome. It means, You must have minimum of nine, nine, and six credits in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively.
Reasons: One might have a 4.2 have still fail to cross to Engine. yeah, it's that bad. Once you don't meet up with the 9-9-6. The person would cross to Physical science or maybe Education (No humour intended). I have a friend who had a 4.12 in 100Level but he's now in Geology. 9-9-6 kicked him off.
Personally, I think working hard to cross is Mediocrity. why not work hard to be on a firstclass or a 4-point and above?

1) I wouldn't say its totally easy to dodge the "face tanke" bullet of 100lvl. But if you put your mind at it, you should be able to escape it. Just be an average reader and attend classes, and read frequently before tests/exams and you are in bro.

2)Bro its pretty a serious and tough task. I wouldn't go into that one yet, i no fit abeg ..na correct work.

3)2.0 ..yes for engineering and mass communication. (thats what i heard) anything less, you are on a free bus to tanke. But on a average its 1.5 for most faculties.

4) Once you are in, be ready to go through the
i) "butterfly period" ; This process is exactly the way it is. A butterfly out of its cocoon. Everywhere in school would be amazing to you. You will enjoy every single activity you are engaged in. Coming to school during this period will be a sweet task, and all experiences will be gleeful . Even the horrible ones. The butterfly period ends a week after matriculation.

A week after matriculation comes the
ii) "Neutral period" ; this period is also called the observation period, you believe you can cope and tackle whatever challenge unilorin throws at you. Unending Queues, 8am lectures ,sadistic lecturers, Trekking all day from class to class, Annoying security men, course registration palaver…… The list is endless my man. You begin to observe and see if you could follow the trend and blend with the norms. You ignore all turn offs and assume they don't exist. Which brings us to the 3rd period. Two weeks after classes resume.

iii) Transformation Period ; Your heart is metamorphosed into stone. So tough, there is nothing unilorin throws at you that you can't handle. You even ask for more in this jungle. You go all ape on them. But this process isn't complete until you finally get to the..

iv) The "I am tired" Period ; This period doesn't come close till 300lvl. During this period you feel you've had enough, You just wish you could graduate the next day.

5) It all depends on your faculty or department

6) test/exams come once a semester. I advice you put in your best in your tests. If you ace 25/30 ...you only need 50 from your exams to ace an A.

Yea , How is it an Herculean task to get just 2 over 5?

You don't need to be the scholar - Aspiring for 1st class is enough.. For you to be a 1st class student, you need a Cgpa of 4.5+ , while a Scholar is a First class student with tge highest Gp.. they are the 4.7- 4.8 - 4.9 students. You need to be extremely excellent.. You need to be Very Very Very Very Serious to get am.

Engine crossing Gp shd be 2.0 - but those with 1.5 might be moved to other Dept.

You need to understand each and everyone of your lecturers.. Everyone with his/her own style. Friendly and Deadly.

This Is most Common within the social sciences and humanities where they write alot of stories. In Engineering, Dynamism is tolerated.

1. As easy as you can read the English Alphabets.
2.I'm not an advocate of being a scholar. Be the best and broaden your horizon. Don't get glued to just Your courses because you intend being a scholar. Lest, you become apparently ''empty'' after your undergraduate days.
3. Relative with respect to Departments. Generally, It's 1.5 some other Faculties have their Specifications.
4.Develop a good attitude, wish others well and compete healthily. ''A's'' are never exhaustible. Develop the right attitude towards all courses. Don't depend on what school gives you. EXPAND YOUR HORIZON.
5.Could this be a repetition of (4) above?
6. C.A test comes up once a semester. Just a little after mid-semester. Class works are a function of your lecturer. 200lvl Engineering; always come to class with the mind you'ld bag a quiz question home. loads of assignments. you'ld have to pass the night at school at times for some silly drawings.
7. I'ld appreciate they are specified.

To answer your querry ,

IMO, Men are meant and designed to be caring and affectionate (maybe that's what's called crush) while women complete and continue to fuel those with her love ' under ideal conditions' .

in engine from 200L there are some courses that if u fail its guaranteed that person will have an extra yr l my 10fingers up - for u guys

Well, for engine, It's 200Level.
Reason: You get to take a whole lot of courses from departments not related to yours.
E.g, of what use Is " Fundamentals of fluid Mechanics'' to an Electrical Engineer?
Summarily, you tend to take courses that weren't actually your passion from onset. Taking strength of Materials could be frustrating if you loath anything that has to do with structures, and the list goes on.
