Nihilist: The money that's in the EPL now makes it a lot harder to unsettle players - ask Costa, Sanchez, VVD and Coutinho.
An EPL club can actually say and mean no, without worrying about the repercussion That's another angle, valid. But for me, there's no point keeping an unhappy player at the club when he clearly wants out. The four players listed are presently unsettled and it's left to be seen how well they'll perform this season. Imagine an unsettled Hazard in this chelsea team, no way it won't affect us over the course of the season. |

Nihilist: Premier League clubs vote to close transfer window before season starts Bad move in my opinion. Will make sense if it is closing for both selling and buying, allowing clubs to still afterwards means the likes of Barca and MAdrid can get to unsettle an EPL player while the club can't get to replace/ |

We should revert to 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. This 3 at the back formation has lasted long enough. |

Saxifrage12: The think computer science is all about pressing computer. make them go ask those my course mate girls Lol. One of my Maths Lectures in year one (A Professor ) had to clear us in one of his class "For those of you in Computer Science, if you think you are in this school to just press keyboard, you have lost it. Before you get to that stage, you have to be MATHEMATICAL MATURED " |

Cacawa2: I'm no talking of the borrowed courses people do in 100 and 200 levels. I am talking about the core dept. Courses. Lol. In Numerical Computations 1 and 2. You do core maths using calculus (Integration and differentiation ) for computations. It's no jokes fam. In some core courses like Complexity analysis, you'll be making use of some abstract algebra and real analysis concepts. |

nextstep: After rereading I think the OP wants to know how many maths courses are needed. I think it's about the same, though chemical might have more maths that have been invented to easily solve engineering problems (linear algebra, matrices, complex numbers, Taylor series, Fourier transforms, etc).
There's really no calculations in computer science. It's mostly about logic, algorithms, and organizing data (search, sort, store).
You won't see mathematical formulas much, and those you see are relatively trivial. Of course you might use a computer algorithm to solve a chemical engineering formula (but that's applied/engineering, not computer science).
The two fields are very different and have their easy and hard parts. This is not correct. Before any computer science student starts Algorithm Analysis and the likes, you need to have a proper understanding of some maths concepts. I am a Computer Science Undergraduate and I did all this maths concepts you listed and many more (Linear Algebra, Abstract Algeria, Taylor's series, MacLaurin, Fourier And Laplace Transform). And many more. To the OP, the only difference is most maths done in computer science are not exactly calculations, they are e mainly analysis, just understanding concepts and replicating them, not the Gung Ho maths. |

Ibime: The only youth player Chelsea let go that was good enough was Lassana Diarra, and he asked to leave.
Robert Huth was a good 4th choice CB but you can't keep a young player as 4th choice for his whole career. He needs to go out there and make his career. How about Glen Johnson? |

Belotti ko Telobbi ni.
Was it not the same way Destro was blazing few seasons back, where is he now?? and someone even had the nerve to say he is a bigger talent than Lukaku without mentioning any single attribute he possesses.
Next season, we will be competing in the UCL and hoping to make an impact if not win. Potential won't do that for us. if we are really serious about getting a top 9, then let's splash the cash on Either Aguero or Aubameyang. instead of wasting? 40-50m on buying potential |

The guy gives the term 'false nine' a whole new meaning. No be only you oo. I just kept quiet since it seems a popular choice here. Morata is not a goalscorer. We don't have goalscoring wingers, why then should we be buying a 'false nine'. |

atebesunny: sorry to chip in, but I av not seen anything from the 20 mins Kennedy played that gave you (and most fans on this thread) that assertion. If you understand the tactical aspects of the wingback system, then you wouldn't conclude like that. Alonso has done well so far (considering he has been injured since August), to still continue in the role ahead of any of the youngsters I didn't say Alonso will be replaced immediately. I personally like Kenedy and from his performances while playing LB and LWF last season. I believe he will do well at LWB, it will be a replica of Moses at RWB. Until he gets the chance and fluffs it, I will continue to hold this believe. Alonso owns the position and it's only normal for him to continue ahead of Kenedy. |
