Last Tuesday, I needed to buy a new radiator for a Toyota Sienna, and my mechanic directed me to a shop in Ladipo. Because I was not expecting such elegant building to be selling auto parts, I missed it twice!

Eventually called the owner and he told me that was indeed the building. I was ushered into a posh compound with security. These guys sell parts off standard PC inventory - Toyota only, and people were just coming in - mechanics, owners, resellers

Don't worry about patronage, because it will come. Just maintain good standard. Kudos!

It might be really frustrating jumping into the driver’s seat one morning, trying to start your engine and you notice your engine fail to start.

Cold weather can cause trouble with the car battery many people do not know why, but getting the facts can help people to avoid having to deal with bad batteries in a cold weather.

Cold weather make batteries to go bad because they slow the chemical reaction inside the battery. Batteries can work under lot of condition, the cold weather tends to degrade high quality batteries and may render good batteries useless.

There are lot of ways to protect a battery from going bad in cold season and some of them need
early precaution measures even before the arrival of cold weather.

Below are 6 few guide lines to avoid a dead battery

1. Disconnect the battery terminals. This is one of the most effective way to make your battery good
and work efficiently during the cold weather by disconnecting the battery. Certain devices such as clocks and alarm systems will continue to drain battery power when the car is off. if your car will not be driven enough to recharge the battery during the cold weather, make sure you discount the battery terminals
when not been used.

2. Install a battery blanket. Most of us might not be used to this approach, a car battery blanket
is a device used to wrap around the battery and fit inside of the battery cover. A cord with a plug goes from the blanket to a power outlet,the blanket can produce enough heat to keep the fluid inside the battery from freezing.

3.Reduce the use of car accessories. Make sure the ac, radio, heater and other accessories are off before you start the car. They can use up the power coming from the car alternator and prevent the battery from charging. Do not leave car accessories on while the car is idling. otherwise the car will not be putting out enough power from alternator to charge the battery and power the electrical system

1. I had a leaking radiator while doing interstate and the mechanics didn't want to help, they wanted to charge me tooth and nail and also delay me. As a sharp guy, I bought #150 eggs that is 6, poured it into the radiator and l was fine for 400km+

2. Honda hala cold start. I needed to warm the engine, so I got a tin of milo, poured saw dust ignite the contraption and used a flat stone as cover, placed the shit around engine for 5mins or less pushed the car while kicking the ignition, car came alive like a new born pup.
