I am no exception, thanks to nairaland.
Last session a Prof in my faculty asked everyone in the lecture theatre who knows about BP (British Petroleum).I stood up and gave a good account of role Nigeria played against racism in South Africa and the release of Mandela which causrd a rift between Nigeria and Britain.This rift eventually lead to the sale of British Petroleum to become Africa Petroleum (AP) that we have today.The Prof was surprised I knew so much and I got an applause from my colleagues.
All these and many more I learnt from a single comment on Nairaland. And I hope you have learnt something this morning too.

labakeJ: One of my brothers went for his registration on Monday and in his words he said am to go to the bursary and senate building (admission office) for clearance and I should take along my receipt. So am going on Mon to confirm all this by God's grace. And I wasn't sent any SMS confirmation either, so am going to the bank again.

I think this is true cos I was told at my faculty,it will be after the faculty/departmental reg.Goodnight beautifull people of akokite.

soughtout2013: Pls kindly note.....its gonna b advisable for all to try as much as pocble to pay up ur school fees and start ur departmental and faculty reg dis week due to d following reasons....1. D first batch of d merit screening wud end dis week wich will increase d numbers of students who are gonna pay school fee and faculty dues next week....2.any mistake to extend d payment of ur school fee will make d school server a little bit in accessible due to d high number of students wanting to do d same tin at d same time remember d one of d screening form....3.thirdly a new batch of students are gonna start deir screening and dey will also want to hasten up wif d school fees payment and faculty reg in wich u have done for weeks making d population crowded.....pls try as much as pocble to beg ur sponsors within today and tomoo to avoid going and coming bak...

ayozainy: I was given jst 1, buh i didnt submit it during my faculty reg cos a copy was snt 2 dem. D lady dat registered me, xaid d copy given 2 me is mine.

the woman I met at my faculty said they we collect the remaining duc with me when the reg starts.I was told to pay a sum of money before they could collect it from me.

ayozainy: I did d reg in my faculty(law) 2day. It went well, i jst filled xom datas on my file, it didnt even take up 2 20mins. Ntn was xaid abt payment, d lady xaid dat d skul wud give us directives on wen and how 2 pay d fees nd also wat nxt 2 do
