Where are you upgrading from? do you do clean installation? Use this key W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX.

If that does not work, then you may try and do 6 month activation and hope there will be a crack before then. follow this steps for the 6 months activation.

Connect your device to the internet.
Run Command prompt as admin. (Right-click on the start menu and click on command prompt (Admin)
Now run the following line of command respectively and hit the enter button. Wait for successful response before you proceed to the next command.

slmgr /ipk W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX
slmgr /skms kms.xspace.in
slmgr /ato.

After you hit the Enter key, Windows 10 will become activated for six months.
You can check the expiry date by running this command. slmgr/xpr.

Hope it helps. If not try do clean installation and use the key straight, that was what i later did.

Also Good news for Win 10, in case you buy a used pc that already had a computer name. Win 10 allows you the ability to change computer name. And the Notification panel, is quiet intuitive.

Microsoft upgrades to Windows 10 has already start rolling out to many persons around the world. The best thing about this upgrade is that it completely free for most users who really want to try it out. Users running Windows 7 or Windows 8 can easily join in whenever they feel like.

For those who have not yet received their updates, Microsoft has provided a simple instruction on how to load Windows 10 to your computer using a disk image (ISO file) downloaded from Microsoft to a USB stick. Below are the basic instructions you need to follow to upgrade to Windows 10;

1. A storage device (USB stick or DVD)

To completely store the data, you will need either a DVD or a USB stick. If you are planning on using a DVD, a DVD burner will be required. On the other hand, a USB stick of at least 4GB of space is required to store this file. Make sure you take everything off the stick before you use it, because this process is going to require that you have ONLY the ISO file on your stick.

2. A good internet connection

To be able to download the ISO file , You're going to need an internet connection though a Wi-Fi connection is highly recommended. The download will consume nearly 4GB of un-interrupted data supply.

3. System requirements

A computer system with the following specifications is required for this upgrade.

• Operating System: Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update
• Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
• RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
• Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS
• Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
• Display: 800x600 pixels

4. Downloading the ISO files

Microsoft has already provided a simple download link of which you can use to grab the ISO file. All you need do is pick "Windows 10" from the list and then you will asked which language you'd like. From there you'll select either 32-bit or 64-bit which either based on system.

Once download is completed, transfer the ISO file to your USB stick. Again, make sure your USB stick is completely empty when you do this. Once you've got a USB stick with ONLY that ISO file on it, you're good to go. The next step is loading Windows 10 to a PC, to do this you will need only to place that USB stick in a USB port and restart the computer, then follow instructions therein.

Kpele.... I v also upgraded nd am about downgrading bk to win 8.1, not because im a gaming person, but overly disappointed.. Only scored pass in start menu nd multiple taskbar windows, all oda settings like hibernation, sleep mode, brightness settings dissappeared...leading to battery drain, music player sucks...nd new video player is pathetic... My songs are just scattered in d ugly music player... Metchew.

Calm down my brother. Check for updates and download a available updates to solve sleep and screen resolution issues.

You can bring back the Hibernate button, I will give you the details on this when am on pc tonight.

The brightness settings is still there, don't be lazy sir.

I like the music and video apps and I agree it consumes battery a little but not drain.

I have, but it is temporary till 27th of Jan 2016. But before then i will have get my hand on a genuine key to use.

Hello works on only 10 expensive laptops.

I have no idea. While using the technical preview, I was able to login easily, but since I install the official windows 10 yesterday, I have not been able to login.

Op don't upgrade yet. Think of all the bugs . We still have a whole year to go. Am happy with my windows 8.1

Even the RTM has no bug at my end.

I tried this during the technical preview, it does not work. complaining about KMS, but will soon find solution.

I thought I drop the link here before in. Have ithttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10. Download the. ISO file there and use Rufus. I will write full tutorial on this later today.

change your device Imei to bb own using mtk engineering mode. That if you are using an mtk device like tecno, infinix, innjoo and gionee. Then change your apn to blackberry.net

whether or not you want to deploy or not...

I can't remember the build version but i installed it around 1st of June. Have you installed this latest version and how was your experience like? if yes, would you be kind enough to state your systems specs.

Everything is working well at this end. All my apps and programs are still working, 30minutes reduction in battery life but I expect updates to fix that, new pics, audio and video players, but simple server no longer download updates for me...but will find solution to that. My PC has the last minimum system requirements.2gb Ram, 280GbHD, 2.1ghz.

Register it again. Mine started working after 18hours

No windows 10 for me till Microsoft announces the final version.

which of the preview. Cos this rtm is okay if you have install the updates after its release.

If you are not using WIFI, to download the 3gig file no go easy, na full data sub of 2k5hun be dat.

You can just download the .iso file with simple server and burn to a disc or usb.

You are wasting your time. You do not have to proof anything to him. Between do you do clean installation or you upgrade cos I am finding it hard to activate mine

Bros its possible.. You can sign up with "preview for developers" and get updates before its available to other users

I don't know why you have to answer him, you should have tell him to use Google. People have been using the technical preview since last year. The (RTM) build 10240 is awesome, but still needs some touch. Though some of that have been fix with updates rolled out after the released of the RTM
