Hello so the IW also called drop box u can only do this at two centers in Lagos the specified DHL office in ikeja and Isolo. And pick up at your chosen state I think 6 states but lagos is either VI or Isolo, Ibadan it’s at DHL ring road which you have to make payment of about #6,400.
2) My mum and I went for the submission at ikeja so apparently she doesn’t need to come cos I basically did the submission for her.
3) she got a message back after a week to pick up. But I really don’t know what the time line will be now that there are more openings.

Please just for clarification, I think one can drop application at V.I DHL too because that's what I chose or am I mistaken

Please do you mind putting me through how you applied? I also qualify for IW.

It is just the normal process, log in to the page and follow the instructions, read through ,very easy to do.
Make sure you have filled and submitted your ds- 160 and update your profile with the ds-160 with the barcode and have your visa fee receipt then go ahead .

Please my mother inlaws visa will expire in march 2023 . we already reapplied for another visa and got a date for February 2023. Can that affect her getting the visa since her initial visa has not expired yet?

No,it won't affect it. I have applied before with valid visa expiring in a few months time

None of us have received the email. I have communicated with them through feedback and call they said they will send the email when it is time. They say nothing is wrong with the applications cos I asked if there was any mistake. I thought most people receive the next day or maximum of 2 days. I don’t know if to schedule another appointment and see if the mail comes.

I applied yesterday evening 9:30 pm and by 8:40 am this morning, I got an email to go ahead and schedule my IW appointment.

January, February 2023 dates were available when I was scheduling.

I just booked sometime in February for my mum's IW application and I observed so many opened dates in Feb and March too

I think it has been removed now , so everyone that qualifies for IW appointment can apply irrespective of the date the visa fees was paid.

Yeah,I think that's what it means ,until they make adjustment to include people with recent visa fees

I just checked now and same May 1 2022 visa fee criteria popped up on my profile.
I think for now they want to attend to people that have paid for their visa before May 1,2022 .
So maybe after few months they will include people with recent visa fee....

I will go ahead and pay my visa fee now and wait ,maybe they will make adjustment again for people with recent visa fee.
