Bro.... My opinion. Don't sell books, let users publish notes then people can read and Like(no comments). Selling a book only won't be that great, I'm a web developer so I'm speaking to u as a web consultant. Using an example, Naijasinglegirl's 29SN book on konga was sold just 30times( checked a week ago). Though its costly(3k). Another thing is that setting an e-commerce website requires capital(ads, office, staffs) if you're going to sell via pdf( it will save you the cost of getting a delivery truck). It takes time for users to trust e commerce websites especially when you're new(passion will drive you through)....
Breaking it down, if you have a huge capital, passion, get a good web developer, and you can wait for people to trust your services then you're good to go, else set up a website that people post sef written notes

I kinda wanted to incorporate that idea too. I might just do it singly now.

My next step is to establish social proof (ie getting my articles featured on high authority websites and some average websites that are relevant to my niches). Basically guest posting.
This might take a while to achieve, so my target time is 10 days. I should have my articles in at least 3 decent sites in 10 days time.

The first step is to create social presence as a freelance writer. Create a Facebook account, Twitter account, LinkedIn profile, aboutme profile, an email address and a website.
I will be using a free WordPress dot com website but it would be of greater advantage if you use a professional website with your domain name.
I will be writing primarily on health, technology and business niches so it might be best if you have your niche figured out before going social.
Give a hint if you can, of the services you offer, on your various online profiles.

The target is to make at least 2500 dollars by December's ending. Throughout this challenge, I would follow every step he made and add a few if I can and will post my progress reports here.
It will be nice if I find brothers and sisters in the hustle who wanna indulge in this journey with me.
(quick maths. if I have 10 clients and earn 100 dollars each from them, it would amount to about 2000 dollars by this year's ending.)

As embarrassing as it is, I was among the lazy ones but I did take action only not the one Bamidele outlined.
I created an upwork account, sent out a few proposals and within 30 days I had made about 150 dollars, turning down a 300 dols job along the line( it was too difficult).
150 dollars is nowhere near what Bamidele makes in a month. In the actual sense, he probably earns more than 20,000 dollars monthly just from writing plus he has a damn large fish farm and he's just about my age.
However my journey at upwork has taught me that there is frigging money to be made on the internet. So I have decided to replicate Bamidele's challenge for myself only with a higher target.

Over the last few months, I have discovered that there is so much money to be made through the internet. I have made more than 100 dollars (in fragments) this month alone and could have made more but for my laziness. Hence this post.
As I initially mentioned, there re several ways to make money through the internet but the only way I earn my dollars is through freelance writing.
Somewhere around July or August, a writer(Bamidele) initated a challenge to make 1000 dollars within 60 days posing as a newbie writer. He invited other 'aspiring' freelance writers to join the challenge and we did.
A lot of persons who hadn't so much as written an essay, followed every step he took and after 60 days, a lot of those writers hit the target, some even making as high as 3000 dollars.
some others made decent amounts while the lazy ones who took no action at all, made nothing.
